We get a lot of almost slice of life sections of the MC going about his Mage apprentice duties. The author does a great job with the worldbuilding (cough copied from WOTMW cough) but is having a hard time writing a plot that is unique to this story.In summary, this is a GREAT Warlock of the Magus World fanfiction being passed off as an original. I give it a 4/5 A wizard story where the ‘cheat’ isn’t so maddeningly broken that the MC easily overturns decades of research with only a few months of semi-casual study? I can hardly believe it! I hope this is goodAlright, so I went in, and got a few scrapes, nothing too serious, it's good.Similar to WOMW(Warlock of the Magus World) but without the AI chip, the MC does have a system of sorts, but it is very stiff and stingy with XP so he has to do actual research and conduct experiments.

There's this one rock that has been called at least 4 different names by now. The story's also super generic, so I recommend reading one of the others with the exact same setup. I think all the others have a less shitty translation.Edit: I just can't stop reading this beautiful train wreck. This one gang, over the course of 8 chapters, has been called 7 different names. Each name stays the same for an entire chapter, then it gets a new one the next chapter. I think the only reason it didn't go 8 for 8 is that the gang's name wasn't mentioned in one of the chapters. Are they just running the MTL through ChatGPT to get results like that, which is why each chapter is internally consistent, but the chapters all have different names/terms? There is harem, but it's not something like going out catching Pokémon, but rather the gradual development of the relationship. To tell you the truth, the drama and the relationships are incredible, they make sense and leave you biting your nails with anxiety. I don't know how the author is going to create a harem when the two potential dating targets are so difficult and full of personality.The story is about a lonely man who wants to do good after living in darkness, he's foolish, bad at social relations and only knows how to solve things using force, but he tries to do better for those around him. Go back a few batches and you will see him committing racism, misogeny, etc. He should have been banned a long time ago, but for some reason he never was. Humor hasnt got limits but if it isnt humor than it cleary has. But in this case its quite clear that it is humor. Even tho with somethings he commented he might mean this for real(quite unlikely but might be the case) My conception is that jokes have a time and a moment. For example, if an important person to you dies and someone makes a joke about it, if the other people around understand the reason for the joke and that it really isn't intended to offend, that's fine, but it's different from going to some random funeral and making the joke.
