Volume 14 Chapter 6: Find A new Location

Keith and the others headed to their usual spot again. With the increase in the number of customers, two more people were added to take orders. Despite the added muscle,

"Is it just me, or are there so many more people from last time?" Even after a few days, there was still such a long line.

"We need to get to work."

"Indeed."

"Hah, this is going to be a long day again."

Krystal, Sarah, and Carolyn sighed.

Keith pumped his fist as he prepared himself. Nephele took a deep breath as she rolled her sleeves up. Slowly, their pace increased from yesterday. Crepes were flying into the air while skewers were being flipped. While the two cooked,

“Hello! Child! My name is- “

“I’ve come on behalf of the Silverwing merchant group!”

“We like to sponsor you.”

All of them said different words, but they all meant the same. Keith snapped his fingers, "Grandpa Cedric, Erwin. Please deal with it!"

Without any hesitation, the two appeared before these people and shooed them off. Cedric snorted, "Do you guys think you're qualified to help him?" That was impossible. Sponsor?

Why the hell did he need a sponsor for all of this? Did they not understand who he was?

He was none other than a multi-chain company owner. There was no need for him to ask others for help. Heck, others should be asking him!

"..." Those merchants didn't dare do anything before him. That was because before them was an ex-grand duke and the guildmaster of the city.

“Good.” With no one to bother him, the cooking was smooth. But that was when he noticed the long lines that were being pushed upwards by the number of people.

After finishing everything, Carolyn and the two sat on the cart again. Keith was pulling them back home. Nephele was also with them; Keith made a chain to link the two carts together to pull.

I should really change the location going forward. When Keith returned home, those were the exact words he said.

“Hmm?” The others tilted their heads. But it was only a second before he understood, “Ahh, I see.”

Because there were way too many people at the sight.

The others realized the predicament Keith was in. Overcrowding.

"The spot I chose won't be suitable going forward." The spot he chose wasn't capable of handling a large number of customers. With so many customers arriving, it would also affect the businesses around.

Turning to Cadmus, “Grandpa Cadmus, it’s fine for me to set up my stall somewhere else, right?”

“Yeah, you can do that.”

Keith nodded, “Nice, then I will tell them about it tomorrow.” It was time to let them know.

The next day,

“Everyone! I’m going to be moving my cart in a few days! I will tell you of the location later.”

Not even a second after saying those words, Keith returned to cooking. On the other hand, for the customers.

They looked up - heard the news - it took them a few minutes to digest before shouting.

“What? Boss, are you going to open up a restaurant this time?!”

”No, I’m not going to be opening a restaurant.” Opening one would take a lot of work; it would take too much time. The cart was much easier and straightforward.

“I will let all of you know once I've decided on the new location.” That was what he did. Once Keith emptied all his ingredients, he turned to Nephele and said, “I'll see you at the mansion."

“Understood!” The great spirit and the rest headed home. Keith picked up Eri and the puff balls, "Now, let's go check out some new locations!" Before he had the chance to head out,

"Keith."

"Madison, what's the matter?" Shouldn't you be at work? She never stayed here; after getting her food, she would return to the guild for work.

"From the request of the guildmaster and headmaster, I've come to help out. I've got a list of locations where you can set up your stall."

"That's perfect! Thank you so much." What better way to choose from a resident!

"Which location are we heading to first?"

"Follow me." The lady guided them over, "This is your first location." It was a location filled with stalls and other vendors.

Taking notice of the location, Keith shook his head, "Nope, I'm not going to put my stall here."

“Hmm? Why not?”

Keith glanced down the street; there were many people there.

"If I plan to set up my carts here, it'll cause problems for the others." That was something he didn't want to occur.

Madison nodded, “I see.”

“…” Why are you feeling so down? He could feel her emotions drop when he said no. However, she quickly raised her head as she headed to the next location. One by one, they headed over.

“Madison?”

“Y-yes?”

"Please tell me what's going on?" A smile appeared as he stared at his trusted receptionist. However, she didn't meet his gaze as she turned sideways, “I don’t know what you’re talking about, Keith.”

“…Your voice broke.” Keith added, "Then let me ask you this, why are all the locations so close to the guild?" Every location shown was about two blocks away from the building! It wasn't glaring until she showed him the fifth location.

Madison quickly explained, “This wasn’t me! It was the guildmaster and headmaster!”

“…Of course, it would be them.” Keith sighed as he held his head. Now that he had time to think about it, it would have to be them!
