?Chapter 81: Chapter 81: The First Time I Gave It to You, Are You Moved? Chapter 81: Chapter 81: The First Time I Gave It to You, Are You Moved? “Alright, sorry, I misspoke. Mr. Yan is handsome, dashing, elegant, and distinguished, not ‘pretty’!”
Zhu Qianying was a woman who understood the times well. Before Mr. Yan could lose his temper, she quickly corrected herself.
Mr. Yan shot her a glance, got up, pushed his chair back, and walked out of the dining room.
Zhu Qianying quickly got up too, washed her hands, and obediently waited at the staircase for Mr. Yan to descend.
A few minutes later, Mr. Yan came downstairs dressed in trousers and a shirt, an overcoat draped over his arm. As Zhu Qianying had predicted, he was holding a tie in his hand.
“Mr. Yan, let me!” Zhu Qianying quickly took the tie from his hand.
Mr. Yan looked a little surprised. “I thought you didn’t know how?”
Zhu Qianying nodded, “I didn’t know before, but I learned, so now I do!”
Mr. Yan eyed her skeptically, seemingly not believing that she could learn to tie a tie in such a short time.
“Really?”
Zhu Qianying nodded vigorously. “Really! Mr. Yan, are you planning to work in the office today, meet with clients outside, or have dinner with them?”
Mr. Yan looked puzzled but obediently gave the correct answer. “I’m working in the office.”
Zhu Qianying held up the tie and examined it. The material was delicate, and the shirt and suit jacket Mr. Yan was wearing were of the latest fashion. “Then let me tie a double knot for you. This knot is stylish and suitable for young white-collar elites.”
Seeing her speak so confidently, Mr. Yan slightly bent down and leaned forward, signaling Zhu Qianying to tie the tie around his neck.
Zhu Qianying chuckled, “No need for that, I can just stand on a higher step.”
Saying so, she stepped back and climbed up a stair, putting her at eye level with the much taller Mr. Yan.
“See, isn’t this better!”
Zhu Qianying beamed in triumph. Swiftly, she looped the tie around Mr. Yan’s neck.
“Mr. Yan, when you wore a red scarf as a child, did your mother tie it for you?”
Zhu Qianying’s nimble hands twisted and turned the tie with practiced ease, not at all like a beginner.
“My mom didn’t have the time for that! You, on the other hand, you really just learned this?”
Mr. Yan glared at Zhu Qianying as usual. Finishing his glare, he realized they had never been this close before.
Except for that night in the suite on the top floor of the KTV…
“Yes, indeed. I gave you my first time. Aren’t you touched?”
As the words left Zhu Qianying’s mouth, she realized the double entendre and her face flushed.
Mr. Yan immediately caught the implication of her words. Given his recent thoughts about their first time together, his heart quickened. Looking down at her blushing face and trembling lashes, he couldn’t resist, and gently kissed her eyelids.
“You…” Zhu Qianying, startled like a deer, lifted her eyes to look up at him, her gaze carrying a rare sense of disarray.
Mr. Yan’s heart was entirely out of sync. He reached out and held her waist, leaning in and pressing his lips against hers.
Zhu Qianying instinctively tried to step back, but she was standing at the edge of the stairs with nowhere to retreat. With Mr. Yan’s long, strong arm holding her, his lips pressing against hers, she had no choice but to surrender to his passionate French kiss.
Uncle Hai, who had just finished giving instructions to the servants in the kitchen before exiting, unintentionally walked in on this scene. He quickly covered his eyes and turned to go back to the kitchen, a satisfied smile on his face.
It was only when Zhu Qianying felt like she could collapse from the exhaustion did Mr. Yan finally let go of her. Looking at her weak state, eyes closed, gasping for air, and trembling lashes, Mr. Yan could barely resist kissing her glossy, flushed lips again.
However, aware of all the tasks awaiting him for the rest of the day, he managed to suppress the tumultuous desires inside himself, lifted his finger to gently wipe away the moisture from the corner of her lip. He then helped her up by the shoulder, and pushed her away.
Zhu Qianying, caught completely off guard, couldn’t understand how a simple act of tying a tie had escalated to a steamy makeout.
Blushing and flustered, Zhu Qianying lowered her head and fixed her gaze on the front of his shirt.
Mr. Yan took deep breaths to calm down, then reached out to touch her face. “Shall we continue?” He asked with a hint of gentleness caught in his voice.
Zhu Qianying nodded, not daring to meet his gaze, and raised her hand to resume the unfinished task.
However, after their passionate embrace, his shirt and tie were severely wrinkled at the chest.
Zhu Qianying tugged it firmly a couple of times, but to no avail. Finally, she sheepishly looked up at Mr. Yan.
“Mr. Yan, could you please change your shirt and tie?”
Mr. Yan looked down and immediately understood. “Sure, wait for me.”
This time, Mr. Yan moved a lot faster. In about a minute or two, he was already downstairs, wearing a new shirt and tie of a similar style.
“So fast…” Zhu Qianying took the tie, making small talk.
“Yeah, my outfits are all prearranged by the stylist. But most of the time, I dress according to my preference. However, considering the time constraint, I wore the entire ensemble recommended by the stylist.”
Only then did Zhu Qianying realize, not only had Mr. Yan changed his shirt, but his trousers and suit as well.
What a fussy man!
Zhu Qianying mentally grumbled, but responded with a simple hum, she looped the tie around his neck.
Mr. Yan watched as her skillful fingers twisted and turned the tie, making a few loops, then threading it through. She formed a perfect knot with a single pull.
“You do it so well. Where did you learn this?”
Mr. Yan was exhilarated. He had casually mentioned it the other day and she obediently learned. Moreover, she took it seriously and did a commendable job.
“Online…”
Zhu Qianying smoothed out some minor wrinkles on his shirt around the tie. She then adjusted his collar to make it properly sit around the tie.
“Online?” Mr. Yan thought he’d heard wrong.
Zhu Qianying took his suit coat. “Yes, I learned it from online tutorials. You’ll never know until you learn. Turns out, depending on the fabric of the tie, the occasion it’s used, and the age of the person wearing it, there are many different ways to tie a tie.”
While explaining, Zhu Qianying unfolded the coat and gestured for Mr. Yan to put it on. He slid his arms into the coat and turned his back to her. Zhu Qianying naturally helped to straighten the shoulder and collar areas of the coat.
“So how many types did you learn? Just this one?” Mr. Yan couldn’t help but ask out of curiosity.
“I learned more than ten types. I suppose that should be enough!”
