Chapter 87 - 87 87 Unlike Your Fondness
?Chapter 87: Chapter 87 Unlike Your Fondness Chapter 87: Chapter 87 Unlike Your Fondness “I feel the same!” These seemingly genuine words from Ye Shao rang in her ears.
No matter who might say these words, Zhu Qianying would carefully analyze their sincerity. However, when it came to Ye Shao, she didn’t think twice, immediately dismissing his words as lies.
They were just public statements meant for others to hear.
As expected, the make-up artist standing next to the horse, helping Zhu Qianying put on high heels, wisely kept silent. The ambiguous smile on her face, however, blatantly betrayed her thoughts.
Zhu Qianying leaned forward slightly, her back leaving Ye Shao’s solid chest, “Thank you!”
With Zhu Qianying’s thanks, Ye Shao raised the whip, snapping it against the horse’s rear. The horse neighed and broke into a gallop. Zhu Qianying, unprepared for the sudden movement, fell backwards and once again crashed into Ye Shao’s arms.
The convertible that had been waiting nearby immediately started up and followed them. The photographer sat in the co-pilot seat, camera snapping continuously, capturing the galloping horse, Ye Shao and Zhu Qianying’s figures in the lens.
Her long black hair and white wedding dress fluttered in the air. The camera captured her delicate and distinct side profile. The man, one hand raising the whip, the other tightly holding onto the woman’s slender waist. Despite being in a suit, his firm arm was visible, the curve outlining his masculine prowess. His long legs, clad in black boots, tightly pressed against the woman’s beautiful legs, asserting his claim over her.
It wasn’t until Zhu Qianying had settled down did she notice the car matching their pace. She couldn’t help but silently applaud the photographer’s creativity.
“Stop looking around!”
Ye Shao, behind her, leaned in again to remind her.
It seemed Ye Shao already knew how the photos were to be taken. She was the only one clueless, merely getting in the car and allowing him to take her wherever.
It would be natural for Zhu Qianying to feel aggrieved. However, upon reflection, she felt indifferent to wherever he’d take her.
Was it because she trusted him too much?
Or simply that she didn’t care?
Ye Shao galloped the horse all the way to the artificial lake, where the pace of the horse gradually slowed down. With a low shout from Ye Shao, the horse stood still. As Zhu Qianying turned to ask why he’d stopped, she felt his hand leave her waist, his face suddenly distancing from her. By the time she reacted, he was already standing steadily on the grassy ground.
Zhu Qianying thought that they were dismounting, so she began to raise her body. Ye Shao’s big hand held hers, “Stay on.”
He held the reins in one hand and walked with big strides that matched the horse’s gait. Zhu Qianying looked down at him while he tilted his face slightly upwards. The sunlight shed a soft golden glow onto their side profiles, accentuating their gorgeous silhouettes.
Not far off, on a small hill, Xing Bailun and Qi Xiao were sitting on the grass, drinking water. Their horses were leashed casually to nearby trees.
Xing Bailun’s position directly faced the direction of Ye Shao and Zhu Qianying’s approach. Drinking water, he noticed the exquisite couple approaching without warning.
His hand, halfway in raising the bottle, froze, a gloomy look crossing his eyes.
“Aaron, look, aren’t those Ye Shao and Ying Zi?” Qi Xiao, thinking that he hadn’t noticed, nudged his arm.
“Cough, cough…” Xing Bailun choked on his water as Qi Xiao jostled him. The choking made him bend over and cough violently, bringing tears to his eyes.
Ling Chen and Lu Hui, sitting on his other side, also had their gazes fixed on the couple leisurely walking by the lake.
Gazing at the perfect match of the man and woman by and on the horse, Ling Chen turned to look at Xing Bailun whose eyes were reddened from coughing.
“Aaron, I thought you were interested in Ying Zi!”
Xing Bailun seemed to choke again, coughing a few more times, then threw his head back and drank the water in the bottle violently. Once done, he crumpled the bottle in his hand, and with a flick, the bottle flew in a beautiful arc, and accurately landed in the trash bin with a “clang”.
Having completed these actions, Xing Bailun once again focused on the dazzling figures by the lake.
“Like you guys don’t like Ying Zi!” His tone was as flat as the water he had just gulped down.
“We do like Ying Zi, but the way we like her, it’s probably, not the same as your liking!” Ling Chen, who seemed to have had something today, was insistent on this point.
A smile appeared at the corner of Xing Bailun’s lips, “Who said they’re different? They’re exactly the same!”
“Aaron, I’ve asked around, Ying Zi and Ye Shao, they haven’t received their marriage certificate yet!” Lu Hui also interjected. It was clear that neither Ling Chen nor Lu Hui believed Xing Bailun.
Xing Bailun’s gaze shifted from the dazzling figures that hurt his eyes and slowly landed on Lu Hui’s face.
“Ah Hui, what do you think I should do? In the past, I didn’t even have the courage to confront the Zhu Family, now, why should I fight with Ye Shao?”
Competition indicated two equals.
For someone like him, who worked tirelessly for half a month just to make no progress at the word of Ye Shao, it was impossible to even be considered Ye Shao’s competition!
Seeing the conversation going in a negative direction, Qi Xiao quickly stood up, brushing off the grass on his butt, “Alright alright, we’re here to ride horses, not to watch others take pictures. Aaron, want to have a race?”
A fierce look flashed in Xing Bailun’s eyes, “Let’s race!”
Zhu Qianying, slowly riding around the lake surrounded by willows and lush grass, was unaware of all the activity on the hill.
It was as if she was a puppet on strings, after taking photo features in the horse field, she immediately followed Ye Shao and the photography team to several locations.
There was the seaside with seagulls and blue sky, the edge of the mountain stream with its gentle current, and the grand waterfall in the mountains…
If she hadn’t experienced it herself, Zhu Qianying would have never known that there could be so many scene selections and themes for wedding photos.
It couldn’t be denied that this photographer named Ah Jian was a very creative artist.
After taking the last photo in front of the grand waterfall, it was almost dark when they came down the mountain.
They had dinner with the team at a farmhouse at the base of the mountain.
Just like Ye Shao predicted, Zhu Qianying was famished after an entire day of not eating. Needless to say, she ate incredibly quickly. To say she was inhaling her meal wasn’t far from the truth.
As for Ye Shao, perhaps dissatisfied with the hygiene of the place, she hardly saw him move his chopsticks besides eating a few bites of rice after the meal came.
Zhu Qianying was somewhat aware of Ye Shao’s cleanliness obsession, but she hadn’t expected it to be this severe.
