Chapter 260 - 260 260. Song Qinghuan do you like me

?Chapter 260: 260. Song Qinghuan, do you like me? Chapter 260: 260. Song Qinghuan, do you like me? Song Qinghuan wished she could strangle Yu Yang. How dare he, the typical fair-weather friend that he was, just abandon her like this? They had clearly agreed that she was going to switch seats with the one sitting next to him.

She wanted to switch seats with Chen Tian, who was sitting next to Yu Yang.

But Shi Yuhuan had already taken his seat. Stretching out his long legs, he effectively blocked any chances she might’ve had of getting past him.

Just as Song Qinghuan was about to ask him to move, a flight attendant’s voice rang out, “Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for choosing our airline. We will be taking off shortly, please fasten your seat belts…”

Reluctantly, she had no other choice but to sit down for now.

When the plane was in smooth flight, Shi Yuhuan, who’d been acting as if she didn’t exist until now, finally turned his head towards Song Qinghuan. “It’s you, huh? What are you doing here?” he asked.

song Qinghuan came close to spitting blood.

Hadn’t Yu Yang introduced her to him earlier on? What on earth was he trying to imply with his remark now? She was about to burst with indignation.

After uttering those words, Shi Yuhuan casually found a comfortable position and closed his eyes, without even bothering to wait for her reply.

Song Qinghuan fidgeted, feeling restless regardless of how she sat. She wanted to switch seats with Chen Tian, who was sitting behind her, but on turning around, she saw that Chen Tian was fast asleep.

She calculated quickly; it was just a two-hour flight to Xiamen, and it would surely pass quickly.

With this in mind, Song Qinghuan adjusted her position and got stuck into the romance novel she’d brought along. It was the very same one that had caught Li Qianze’s interest, the one which was going to be made into a drama by Mei Jun.

Before long, Song Qinghuan realized that the male protagonist in the book seemed to resemble Shi Yuhuan; they were all scumbags, evil and scheming.

She glanced at Shi Yuhuan. He seemed to be asleep now, his expression unusually gentle. His shirt collar was undone, and he appeared rather casual and relaxed, completely unlike the cold and ruthless man from her memories.

The warm sunlight outside the window fell on him, lingering on his body, glamorous and soft, as if fused with him, making his figure golden and radiant.

A man of such disposition and such a handsome countenance was, indeed, hard to resist.

Even so, she wouldn’t harbor any illusions about him.

She would divorce him and marry again. She was a modern woman — she wouldn’t spend her life pining for a scumbag.

She wanted to marry a man who loved her and whom she loved back. To go to and leave work together every day, to share dinner, to watch TV, to discuss what they should eat the following day, and to plan where and when they should travel…

Lost in her thoughts, she suddenly found herself meeting a pair of passionate eyes.

At some point, Shi Yuhuan had opened his eyes. There was a profound, unreadable smile in those deep eyes, which grew deeper until a teasing grin appeared at the corner of his lips.

Song Qinghuan snapped back to reality and quickly averted her gaze, returning to her book.

“Song Qinghuan, do you like me?” His indifferent voice was gently sounding.

Although he was asking Song Qinghuan a question, the way he phrased it made it sound more like a statement.

Song Qinghuan was taken aback. She never expected that Shi Yuhuan would say something like that, which made her feel somewhat guilty and shocked her into a momentary daze.

She was so taken aback that she stuttered for a moment, “Uh…” Then, she quickly came to her senses and hurriedly denied it. “Absolutely not!”

She whispered, afraid that Yu Yang and Chen Tian, seated behind her, might hear her.
