Abraham soaked in the pool water, having grown a bit taller than just a short while ago; his face had shed some of its childishness too.

The next second, the wound split open, and a black worm the thickness of a finger squeezed out.

Abraham crushed the worm, letting the stinking black fluid drip down.

The black fluid dispersed in the water, seemingly striving to coalesce into a pattern.
