Chapter 929: Muscle memory

Chapter 929: Muscle memory

Meanwhile, Samuel used a blade to stab the spider that had attacked Lenny. "Damn it Cain! those were only scouts. If we had avoided them, then we would have been able to go back to the Hide out."

Samuel frowned as he looked at lenny, "Its all this kid’s fault. let me end him and we can be on our way." his aura became menacing.

However, as it did, Lenny’s Muscle Memory and instinct kicked in.

Lenny was a fighter that had had encounters with death for his life more times than he cared to remember. All that fighting even if his mind had temporarily forgotten it, his body had not.

Samuel was a rank 6 Great Demon existence, but lenny moved with incredible precision, grabbing the blade in his hand and then flipping the nig man to the ground.

The only thing Samuel truly remembered was the fact that he was willing to extend his knife to Lenny’s neck at one point and at the next, he was looking at the world upside down.

And then he crashed to the ground.

An assault of killing intent filled his senses as Lenny placed the blade against his chest.

The point Lenny pointed with the blade was just at the Liver. And for an existence like this, poking such a place should not kill him. However, Cain immediately rushed over grabbing Lenny’s hands.

And then he released his own killing Intent. The rush of it was so intense that it foundationally assaulted the curse Depression had on Lenny had caused his cells not to heal.

Instantly, Lenny was overwhelmed and he fainted on the ground.

Lenny passed out. The small group saw paused a bit. The last soldier was easily taken care off by another rebel.

Cain helped Samuel to his feet and all of them stood about Lenny.

"Are you okay?" Cain asked. Samuel nodded, but from the sweat on his skin even though it was a cold night, it was obvious that he was still very shaken.

"Samuel, why are you so afraid, or are you not an Earth Elf? Don’t you guys have like two hearts or something? Without danger to your heart, won’t you just come back?" One of the rebels chipped in.

Samuel nodded at him. However, Cain suddenly chipped in, "That’s exactly the problem. From the boy’s movements, it is clear he is not aware of this. And unfortunately, you all did not notice this. At least none of you except Samuel. The point the boys knife had been before I stopped him would have instantly killed Samuel. is that not true Samuel?"

Samuel wiping the Sweat from his forehead could not help but give a weary smile, "Its true. The body of an Earthen Elf like other elfs is very special. And the fact that we have two hearts gives us terrible advantage in battle, but this kind, he was able to find it. he was able to find that spot."

Cain nodded. He did not want to push Samuel to talk about it, but with his many years, he understood what Samuel was saying.

After all, there was only one vital vein that connected the two hearts one to the other. Of course not many people knew this, and even finding this spot was very difficult as it was hiding properly at the Liver, But When Lenny had moved with his blade, Cain had clearly seen as lenny’s eyes darted about on the man’s body like a snake.

It was almost as if lenny had been able to see into the man’s body and optimally find the weakest point on the body before attacking it.

to the others, it was just a quick movement, but in cain’s eyes, he had studied as lenny’s blade danced on Samuel’s body to find that exact spot.

This had not clearly not been done because Lenny had his memory. No! there were a bit of errors in the movement, but the only reason Lenny had been able to achieve this was his incredible Muscle memory.

This meant that he must have had extensive experience in dissecting many many creatures that with just one look, he was able to find the weakest point on Samuel’s body.

Samuel instantly assumed that Lenny must have killed many Earthen Elves to be able to achieve such a feat. After all, they was also that terrifying killing intent. What he did not know was that this was the very first time that Lenny was meeting this kind of being.

Everything that had happened was just lenny’s fundamental nature expressing itself through his blade.

This really caught Cain’s interest.

Samuel sat at a corner as he assessed his body. Even though he knew that Cain had prevented his death, he could not help but feel a certain level of dread.

"So what do we do, Cain!? Do we finish the boy here and now. Or do we leave him and continue to the dungeon?" Another rebel asked.

"He may be Great demon existence, but he is only a Green Soul, if we leave him here, he will surely die." Another added.

Cain nodded. However he had his eyes on Lenny as if he could see through him. Cain Grinned, exposing a set of teeth that looked like a crest moon. "We progress to the dungeon as planned. Samuel, you carry the boy. lets go!"

"Huh!?" Samuel frowned harshly. He felt really wronged After all, he was the person that had almost died, and now, he was to take care of his assaulter.

But he still did has he had been instructed and slung Lenny on his shoulder and then rushed after the group.

Cain waved his hand and the corpses instantly dissolved into the earth becoming one with the crystal trees. "Move Out!" Cain ordered and everyone moved.

They were like a spectral in the night as they zoomed through the Crystal trees and deep into lands many would not dare tread.

A few minutes after they were gone, a slender figure landed on the same spot Lenny had been lying. She placed her hand on the ground her scarlet eyes showed a series of numbers.

(Alert: System Holder Detected...)

She smiled...
