Chapter 934: User Of The Hunting System

"One more mountain to cross boys, and we will be in the Pig market. It is also the most dangerous. We will be crossing the Silent Valley." Cain ordered.

All the others nodded. The Silent valley was not a nice place, and the nature of its environment made so that one was not able to to walk through it without the fear for their lives.

Even though this was a major route into the Pig market, it has seen countless bloodshed as a result of ambushes.

Hence its name, Silent Valley. The souls laid to rest in this place was so many, that when going through it, One easily had the impression that the echoes of those lost souls could be heard if one listened hard enough.

It was for this reason that those that relied on the Pig market for a living were nothing short of extra ordinary. After all, one may purchase an item legally in the market but have it snatched along this route.

However, cain and the rest of his team were nothing but ordinary. besides, cain did not have plans of going through the Valley itself, but at a side of its walls that was mostly used for those that wanted a little more assurance of their safety.

Of course, it made the journey much longer and more stressful, it was still far better to be safe than sorry.

Cain’s choice to follow such a route did arise questions in the rest of his small team but they had no questions of his leadership.

After all, they were going to sell a very important commodity in that place.

Not all gods could create avatars. Only major gods and above could do such a thing, and those were of at least rank 1 Arcane Demon level, having the fundamentals to understand the laws of the universe.

An Avatar was not just a messenger to do their bidding, but also an extension of their understanding of the laws of the cosmos.

Of course, not just gods could create avatars, but Demons of very high ranking in the Royal families. Nevertheless, creating an Avatar was not always easy.

It consumed too much power and too much Law.

Some say that was why the invention of the System users came about. It was far cheaper that way. For an individual to still be an extension of the Will of his master while having the ability to grow in power and strength.

Also, they were much cheaper to make. Naturally, with this advantage, came other disadvantages. System users had their own will and were much difficult to control.

Also, their individual growth in power was greatly dependent on themselves, and their ability to implement themselves with the Wills of their masters.

It is said that many of those incredible power houses still prefer the old way which was by Creating Avatars. But most did not.

These days, seeing an avatar was like seeing an apocalypse. There were extremely rare.

Which meant that finding one was not easy.

Rumors have it that Consuming an Avatar could result to very rewarding profits. Profits such as an early understanding of Laws, and even the possibility of comprehending another Deities Law...

This Sub plane known as Celesterra was very rocky in nature.

Its earth surface, made by hard rocks of Crystal made it a natural challenge for one to cross great distances.

But at the same time, it also made it a very unique experience for any person with the will to climb its highest peak and gaze below.

The Sun was slowly rising and with how high Cain and his team were, Lenny could not help but see the different colors of crystal that made up this world and think that it was absolutely beautiful.

He was not the only one. Even Samuel that carried him thought that it was beautiful sight. However, it was probably because of a result of this sight, that this ambush was able to work more smoothly.

First came the explosion up ahead on a much taller mountain.

*BOOM!* It was one that instantly caught their attention, its rumbling, and falling of rocks catching too much attention for anyone to notice the next attack.

This time around, it was a sniper shot. Silent, but Lenny’s instincts had kicked in and only slightly moving his head was his saving grace.

The Projectile penetrated Samuel’s body, making the large Earthen elf loose his hold on him and then Lenny fell below.

Samuel screamed in pain, but there was nothing he could do. The Rocks were falling from above. It was easier to save himself from the rocks above than it was to catch lenny who was falling.

Cain and the others instantly brought out their weapons and wielding it against the falling rocks, managed to defend themselves.

However, that was not all. Cain suddenly frowned, "Shit! Its a trap. The Asmodeus Fuck have found us!"

Truly, it was just like he thought.

Demon soldiers appeared from different angles and soon, a fight broke out.

Meanwhile, Lenny fell below, into the Silent Valley.

The hit to the ground was a hard one, but he was still a great Demon existence even though he did not know it.

He created a small crate into the earth.

He moaned not in pain by reflexively as he stood to his feet.

He tried to move, but the bind on his hands tightened, confining him to his spot.

This bind was also linked to his soul.

Just then, he suddenly felt a bunch of presence in the darkness. It was clearly dark, but Lenny could still see them, and this was not just his demon nature, but his ability instinctively activating.

In the darkness, there many many creatures. Their gazes were all fixed on him. However, they did not attack.

And then he felt it. One’s aura was stronger than all the others.

It was a woman, mounted upon a soul beast. This beast carried the form of a wild cat.

This woman had a Blade in her hand, and her slender tongue came out to lick its edges.
