Vol.2 - Chapter 16 – Kill me, okay?

Dragon Turtle was not adept at hand-to-hand combat. You couldn't expect a Dragon Turtle to scratch like a cat, or throw punches like an ape.

But the Dragon Turtle's physical body was invincible!

Su He roared, using the waves to suddenly accelerate towards the Thunder Ape. The ape, taken aback, leapt out, beating its chest with both hands on the ground, and charged towards Su He with all its might.

A turtle and an ape collided with a thunderous crash.

A loud boom echoed, the shockwave dispersing the heavy rain. Su He staggered back a few steps. The Thunder Ape, however, was sent flying as if it had been hit hard, crashing into a mountain three miles away.

After a while, the mountain rocks exploded, and the Thunder Ape jumped out. It was covered in blood but didn't seem to care, its eyes filled with exhilaration.

What skill contest could be more satisfying than this blow?

It walked on all fours to Su He, lowered its head, and extended a hand. It had surrendered.

Su He was taken aback, he slapped its hand with his claw, as if sealing a deal.

The ape was now his.

Su He was delighted. This was the first terrestrial Exotic Beast he had tamed, and it was a smart one with a temper.

Regardless of the type, apes had far superior Spiritual Intelligence than ordinary Exotic Beasts. The Tiger Whale was also intelligent, but it was too cunning.

The Thunder Ape beat its chest and roared, whether out of joy or loss was unclear. A calamity had befallen its home, and it had gained a boss for no reason.
