?Chapter 832: 433 Superb Medical Skills! (4100)_2 Chapter 832: 433 Superb Medical Skills! (4100)_2 Moving forward, the three had left the hallway and officially arrived at the underground jail’s first level. Here, there was a series of small rooms, each radiating a metallic feel from their walls and floors. Clearly, the prisoners held here were not ordinary; a few rough rebar thrown together would not suffice.
Casio glanced around and noticed a small viewing port on an iron door that allowed one to peek inside, though it was very small. He casually picked a prison cage and walked directly to it, looking through the viewing port to observe the inside.
It was a small room that resembled those used by the Black Mechanism’s branches in future eras to detain Dark creatures. Inside were some simple pieces of furniture, for use by the prisoners who still managed to stay lucid on most days.
Casio’s gaze slowly moved but did not see the prisoner who should have been in this room. Just as he was about to shift his view, he saw a face suddenly press against the window. It was fierce, with bulging veins and bloodshot eyes, looking like a deranged psychopath. He stared intently at Casio, his eyeballs bulging as if they were about to pop out of their sockets.
However, this did not frighten Casio. He continued to watch him expressionlessly, his blue eyes resembling a deep pool. As they stared at each other, they slowly rotated and sank, becoming deeper and darker until they were black as ink.
Staring into these eyes was like gazing into an abyss.
In the room, the prisoner who had originally been in a frenzy suddenly shivered as if a bucket of ice water had been poured over him from head to toe. His bloodshot, frenzied eyes suddenly became much clearer and more innocent. The man’s maniacal expression quickly subsided, turning harmless in the span of a second.
Under Casio’s cold gaze, he moved backward until his back pressed against the thick iron wall, barely gaining a sense of security. The man raised his hands and gave a foolish smirk.
