?Chapter 153: 153. Not Intentionally Disturbing You (2) _1 Chapter 153: 153. Not Intentionally Disturbing You (2) _1 The screen was filled with photos of Quan Jingwu and Jian Qing at the shopping center the day before, with the comments and shares continuously surging under them.

“Jingwu probably let this happen on purpose.” Quan Mingxuan had to admit.

“Are you suggesting that it was Jingwu who deliberately let these photos leak out?” Quan Yifei looked surprised.

Quan Mingxuan spoke slowly, “Do you think that without his consent, those people could have taken these photos out of the shopping center yesterday?”

“It seems like Jingwu is announcing to all of Beijing that Jian Qing is his.” Quan Yimo chuckled.

Just like that, everyone couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

It seemed their perennially ice-cold Quan family member had finally fallen in love!

In the quiet courtyard garden, the air seemed to be filled with a faint floral fragrance, and the flowers bloomed exuberantly in various shapes and colours.

Jian Qing looked up at the man beside her, her smile faint, “Xiao Jing, your family is very nice!”

Such a warm and big family…

Though she was smiling, Quan Jingwu saw the loneliness hidden behind her smile. He reached up to pinch her cheek, “Fool, they will be your family too!”

She chuckled lightly, her gaze drawn to a swing nearby. She stepped up to it, her fingertip stroking the peeling paint on the chain, “Has Xiao Jing also played on the swing before?”

Quan Jingwu gave a quiet chuckle, helplessly saying, “That was Yifei and Axuan’s thing.”

He and Amo never played with such things when they were little.

“Would you like to try?” he asked.

Jian Qing looked at the swing, her mind wandering back to old memories of Master An pushing her and Luoluo on the swings.

She thought she had long forgotten those memories, but seeing this swing brought back everything vividly.

Seeing her silence, Quan Jingwu went over, pulled her up onto the swing, “Hold tight.”

Jian Qing blinked, and before she could react, the swing was given a push. She reflexively held onto the chains to prevent herself from falling off.

“Xiao Jing!”

Quan Jingwu seemed to have no intention of stopping; he kept pushing the swing higher and higher. Jian Qing gradually relaxed, the breeze brushing past her cheek brought a bright smile on her face.

“Xiao Jing, higher, higher!”

Hearing her laughter, a smile also floated in Quan Jingwu’s eyes, and he began to push the swing even harder.

After playing for a while, the two finally stopped. Jian Qing jumped off the swing and looked at him, noticing a thin layer of perspiration on his forehead.

“Xiao Jing, do you want to wash your face?” Jian Qing asked. She remembered his obsession with cleanliness.

Quan Jingwu took her hand, “Let’s go together.”

Looking at the cool-toned room in front of her, Jian Qing’s lips twitched slightly. Weren’t they just washing their faces? How did she end up in his room?

She examined the furnishings in the room, which were quite similar to his room in Shijin Haoting. The huge bookshelf nearby was particularly eye-catching.

“What are you looking at?” Quan Jingwu came out of the bathroom and noticed her standing in front of the bookshelf. He walked over and wrapped her in his arms.

Turing her head to face him, Jian Qing saw his handsome face. “Are you done washing?”

“Hmm.” Quan Jingwu leaned down to kiss her lips, his mouth curling into a mischievous smile.

Sensing danger, Jian Qing quickly pushed him away, increasing the distance between them. “Just talk, don’t get touchy.”

Quan Jingwu, “Sweetheart, what are you afraid of?”

Jian Qing cleared her throat lightly, “I’m not scared. Let’s go downstairs; it’s almost dinner time.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she walked past him towards the door.

After only a few steps, a forceful tug on her arm pulled her back. The next second, the man’s cold, sweet scent enveloped her senses.

“Um, Xiao Jing…”

She turned her head to avoid his cool lips, but this only led to a more intense onslaught from him. His hand was clamped on the back of her head, leaving her noplace to hide.

As they tangled, the two fell onto a nearby couch. As their lips touched, the room filled with an ambiguous atmosphere.

Suddenly the door swung open, and Rhee’s voice rang out, “Little Qingqing, Jingwu, come down and eat.”

Rhee’s words came to an abrupt halt as she stood frozen at the entrance, eyeing the two on the couch, looking completely innocent. “Um…I didn’t mean to interrupt you!”

Jian Qing felt her fair face flush with embarrassment. She felt as though a train of wild horses was stampeding across her mind.

This was so embarrassing!

Quan Jingwu took a deep breath before pulling her into his arms. He shielded her from Rhee’s gaze and frowned, “Mom, could you please knock on the door before coming in?”

Rhee rolled her eyes indelicately, “Your door was open in the first place.”

Quan Jingwu’s handsome face darkened, Rhee quickly changed her tone, “Alright, alright, next time I’ll remember to knock. Hurry up and bring Little Qingqing down for dinner.”

Before leaving, she closed the door.

Outside the room, Rhee happily hummed a tune as she went downstairs.

‘Ha. It seems that becoming a grandmother won’t be too far in the future.’
‘Can’t wait to see my cute little grandson and granddaughter!’
As soon as the door closed, Jian Qing immediately sat up from his embrace, looking at him with a disgruntled expression, “This is all your fault, how am I supposed to face everyone at dinner now?”

If more people had come upstairs and caught them, she really would want to find a hole to hide in.

“Embarrassed?” Quan Jingwu lifted her chin, asking in a low, rough voice. He had been wanting to do this ever since she started making the tea. If he couldn’t eat the meat, the soup would be just as rewarding.

Jian Qing slapped his hand away, glaring at him angrily. She picked up a pillow next to her and threw it at his annoyingly handsome face, “Embarrassed your head! Go away.”

Quan Jingwu dodged the pillow and reached out to pat her head, “Good girl, don’t be angry, I’ll remember to close the door next time.”

“You’re planning on a next time?” Jian Qing snorted dismissively, got up from the couch, straightened her rumpled clothes, and walked out without looking back at him.

Quan Jingwu quickly got up, followed her to the door and tried to hold her hand but was evaded by her.

“I don’t want to talk to you for now, keep your distance.” She huffed.

Quan Jingwu’s eyes twinkled with amusement as he walked side by side with her down the stairs.

As soon as they reached the ground floor, they found that only Quan Yifei and the others left in the living room. The elders of the family were nowhere in sight.

“You two took quite a while upstairs. We’ve all been waiting to start dinner.” Quan Mingxuan stretched lazily, looked at Quan Jingwu and Jian Qing with a teasing expression.

“Could it be that you were up to something naughty?”

Quan Jingwu shot him a cold glance. “You’re not mute if you keep your mouth shut.”

Quan Mingxuan shrugged indifferently. He thought to himself, ‘this is definitely a case of biting off more than you can chew.’
Quan Yifei cheerfully walked over to Jian Qing, taking her arm, “Jian Qing, grandpa and the others just went for dinner, I will take you over.”

Jian Qing nodded lightly, taking her arm and walking towards the dining hall.
