?Chapter 465: 451, What I need is not a medicine box, but you (3)_1 Chapter 465: 451, What I need is not a medicine box, but you (3)_1 The two returned to the Manor and Jian Luo immediately went to his room.

When Quan Jingwu and Jian Qing returned from their outing, only Bai Jue was left in the living room.

“Why are you alone?” Jian Qing asked.

“Jian Luo went back to his room, said he needed to work on some design drafts.” Bai Jue crashed on the couch, clearly exhausted.

Jian Qing and Quan Jingwu sat down across from him. Jian Qing chuckled, “What happened now?”

Bai Jue sprang up from the couch, slightly hesitating.

Would Jian Qing kill Black Jack if he told her?

“Bai Jue, lying will bring bad luck.” Jian Qing quipped, injecting him with a dose of realism.

Bai Jue felt like crying but had no tears.

She was threatening him again.

What did he do to deserve this?

“After Jian Qing and I left the racetrack, we went to Black Jack’s restaurant for dinner, and we ran into Black Jack and Lis there, you’ve seen her before, the Lis who often chased Black Jack when we were in school, they were also dining there.” He spoke in a rush.

Jian Qing raised an eyebrow, Lis?

“What happened next?”

“After Jian Luo and I left, we realized we left our keys at the restaurant. When we went back to get it, we saw Lis hugging Black Jack; that was it.” Bai Jue continued.

After hearing him, Jian Qing cracked an amused smile.

Seeing her smiling, sent chills racing down Bai Jue’s spine.

This witch was still able to smile; this couldn’t mean anything good.

“Jian Qing, go easy on him when you confront him. Don’t wreck Black Jack.”

Jian Qing laughed lightly, “Why would I beat him?”

“Your smile is a bit creepy.” Bai Jue honestly said.

And it carried a hint of kill intent.

“Jian Luo ignoring Black Jack is the best punishment he could get. Why would I bother to beat him? It’s a waste of energy,” Jian Qing replied sagaciously.

Bai Jue, “…”

That seemed logical.

Instead of getting beaten up, what Black Jack fears most is probably being ignored by Jian Luo.

“Do you want to go console Jian Luo?”

Jian Qing replied, “Why should I console him? It’s the mess that Black Jack created; if he’s not capable of fixing it, he should forget about being together.”

In matters of the heart, you can’t afford to waffle. Black Jack, don’t disappoint Jian Luo.

Bai Jue didn’t say anything more.

Bro, I’ve done all I could for you.

Suddenly, the vibration of a cell phone could be heard.

Quan Jingwu took out the phone, his eyes deepening.

Out of the corner of her eye, Jian Qing saw the caller ID: it was from Quan Yimo.

Quan Jingwu answered the phone; whatever was being spoken on the other side deepened the coldness in his eyes, “I know.”

Upon hanging up, Jian Qing asked, “What happened?”

Quan Jingwu reached out and gently rubbed her head, his tone tender, “Darling, I have to leave tonight.”

There was a change of plans; he had to leave early.

The only one he hated to part with was her.

Jian Qing paused, choosing not to ask further.

She grabbed his hand, gently said, “Then I’ll help you pack.”

“Hmm.” He nodded.

The two went upstairs together, leaving Bai Jue by himself in the living room, again.

As soon as they entered the bedroom, Jian Qing ran to find the suitcase, while Quan Jingwu closed the door and leaned against the wardrobe, watching her.

Jian Qing opened the wardrobe and selected several sets of casual wear, casting them onto the bed.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, she began folding the clothes. Her hair strands fell onto her side face, softening her cool demeanor.

Quan Jingwu moved towards her, pulling her up.

He caressed her head, then leaned in to kiss her forehead.

“I really want to take you with me.”

If it wasn’t for not wanting her to suffer, he would certainly have taken her along.

His deep voice echoed above their heads. Jian Qing’s lips curved into a smile; reaching up, she wrapped her arms around his waist.

“I’ll get the first aid kit, just in case we need it,” she gazed up at him, her voice soft and tender, “I scrounged it up from Bai Jue.”

The medicine inside the box were all Bai Jue’s exclusive collection, incredibly effective.

Quan Jingwu pulled her back, his strong arm tightly held her waist, “I don’t need the first-aid kit, I need you.”

As soon as he finished speaking, he bent down to kiss her.

Jian Qing kept her eyes open, locking on to his deep orbs. Her own eyes filled with mirth and she passionately returned his kiss.

The curtain slowly closed, blocking the warm sunlight streaming in from outside.

A moment of intimacy spread throughout the room, permeating the air.

Jian Qing’s clothes slipped off one by one, her white body now showing in the open air, she uncontrollably shivered.

The cold lasted only a while, before it was replaced by man’s warm embrace.

“Jingwu…”

She murmured his name softly, receiving a more passionate kiss from the man in return.

For the entire afternoon, the mood in the bedroom stayed intimate.

When she woke up, it was already dark outside.

Jian Qing blinked and noticed that the man next to her was gone.

Thinking that he left, she threw off the covers, preparing to get up. Only when she saw the suitcase still at the side of the wardrobe did she let out a sigh of relief.

The next second, the bedroom door opened.

She looked up to see him, their eyes meeting.

“Cover yourself quickly with the blanket. You don’t want to catch a cold.”

Quan Jingwu walked over holding a tray. His gaze fell on her thin robe.

Jian Qing faintly smiled, retracted her foot, obediently sitting on the bed.

“It smells so good!”

Her gleaming eyes flicked towards the tray in his hand, resembling a greedy kitten.

Quan Jingwu placed the tray on the bedside table, settling down next to the bed.

“Did you make it?” Jian Qing leaned over, her arms resting on his thighs.

He responded affirmatively, “Try it.”

With that, he picked up the bowl, blowing over the soup.

Jian Qing sipped the soup, her starry eyes curved into crescent moons. It was a sight for sore eyes.

After feeding her the last spoon of the soup, Quan Jingwu couldn’t resist pecking her lips.

“Go change, let’s go downstairs for dinner.”

He put the bowl down, fetching her clothes.

Jian Qing let him dress her, her shyness was tossed into oblivion.

After she got dressed, Jian Qing looked up and stood on the bed, gently wrapping her arms around his neck, landing a kiss on his forehead, “A reward.”

Quan Jingwu chuckled, his arms tightly encircling her waist, effortlessly lifting her off the bed.

Jian Qing put on her slippers, and the pair went downstairs hand in hand.

In the staircase, Jian Qing could already hear the sound of a game being played.

When they got downstairs, she saw that Jian Luo and Bai Jue were playing video games.

“Luo Luo, have grandpa and the others not returned yet?”

Jian Luo paused the game, saying, “Grandpa will be back later, dad is busy with some stuff and won’t return until later too. They both will eat out.”
