Keeping a calm exterior, he put on an act and added, “I’d love to stay and enjoy the moon with you, but the teacher is really pressing.”

“Really?” William eyed him skeptically.
“I was far away, I really didn’t hear a single word, I swear. If I’m lying, may I never make a fortune and have octuplets every time.”
William felt a headache coming on; you’d have to be able to give birth for that to happen, he thought.
But Wyatt’s lie was obvious to him, and he waved his hand, signaling him to scram.
