The silence immediately enveloped the atmosphere, but Mingyue looked a bit scared. She drew closer to Miko and suddenly whispered. "Miko, are you here with just three people?"

"Our people are already in the southeastern coastal region, monitoring the origin of the chaos that just occurred a few hours ago. I’m sure you have heard about it." Ely replied with another whisper.

"Ah? No, I just heard it from you. Uncle Jie, do you know about the chaos in the southeastern coastal region?" Mingyue was clueless. She immediately asked the nearby elder.

"If it happened just a few hours ago, we haven’t received any news." Elder Jie shook his head.

"Oh my~ Since you have a new friend, you dare to ignore me, huh, Mingyue. Why don’t you introduce your new friend to me?" The Blood Empress walked over with some exasperation, but she widened her eyes when she saw her little sister’s friend up close. "Ah, I know you. You are Miko, Sacred Sakura Saintess, right?"

She could see something more precious than anything. Anyway, what’s wrong with my invitation? I only invited Saintess Miko over for a cup of tea." Feng Xue crossed her arms under her breasts.

Mingyue could see her eldest sister and Lady Eve exchanging fierce stares. However, she dared not move between the two fierce-looking Empress-level ladies.

Therefore, she aimed attention at her saintess friend. "Miko, how about we talk inside while waiting for Meiying to arrive? I’ll appreciate it if you can share some information regarding your plan to handle the big evil with us."

"Sure." Ely nodded in agreement. She and Mingyue then went into the room.

Kirara quickly followed, but Evelyn and Feng Xue were still staring at each other.

"I commend your courage, Lady Evie. But don’t try to challenge me or oppose me. It’s not wise to be on my bad side." Feng Xue smirked faintly.

"That depends on your performance. Don’t think you can oppose me, let alone offend us. You couldn’t imagine the consequences, even in your wildest dream. Don’t try to do anything suspicious to our saintess."

"Oh? Why do I need to do that? Sacred Sakura is our ally, and Saintess Miko is my little sister’s friend. It’s only natural for the good elder sister to treat her well too. Or do you expect me to do something to her?"

"Your little sister is even afraid of you. Just behave well and mind your attitude. Even though you are crooked, don’t involve our saintess."

After saying that, Evelyn turned around to follow Ely into the room.

She had already gathered information about the Feng Clan. Saintess Mingyue’s eldest sister, Feng Xue, was the most talented and dangerous of all Feng Clan’s descendants.

"Eldest sister, please don’t sniff me too much. Saintess Miko is here, and the others are watching..." Mingyue pushed her elder sister as she was too embarrassed.

It was only a few minutes, and her eldest sister bullied her. She couldn’t handle this sudden closeness and wanted to run away from her eldest sister.

"N-no..." Mingyue shook her head. She glanced at her friend for help.

"Lady Feng Xue, I think that’s enough. If you tease Mingyue too much, she will grow increasingly afraid of you. If you are rarely there for her, then your closeness will be awkward for her. That’s probably the cause." Ely smiled in amusement and helped the pitiful Mingyue from Feng Xue’s grasp.

"Oh? Is it like that? I’m rarely around them because of my work. That’s why I need to use my time to play around them when the opportunity comes. It’s a sibling bond." Feng Xue’s eyes glistened as she was surprised that Saintess Miko knew the reason behind her action.
