Chapter 197: They’re Considerate
Chapter 197: They’re Considerate
It was one day and two nights since Elysia was unsealed. As the morning sun became visible on the eastern horizon, Ely, or now Miko, prepared a special breakfast for her beloved mother.
For Miko, Goddess Elysia was her Goddess Master and her mother and origin. She knew her mother had never eaten anything in the last five years, including the thirty-six hours since her mother was freed from the divine seal.
As a good daughter, she had to ensure her mother would receive the best meal. Not to mention, her mother became a lovely little baby. Thus, she had to ensure that her baby mother’s nutritional intake would be met with the best ingredients.
"Uh-huh?" Gabriella scratched her head in confusion.
She saw Zera and her baby master under the Sacred Sakura Tree. Her baby master was playing with Sakura, the little pink spirit. They were both smol, too cute, and so lovely.
However, she could see her master was also in the kitchen.
"Our masters are now two?" Jophiel muttered softly as she looked into the kitchen and the courtyard.
She knew her master became a baby due to some unknown backlash, but the one in the kitchen was her usual shrine priestess master...
"Gab-chan, Jophi-chan, why do you look confused? Come here, and we can talk." Miko beckoned her disciples to come closer.
Gabriella and Jophiel entered the kitchen as they wanted their master to enlighten them.
"Are you confused because of me and Goddess Elysia?" Miko turned down the heat on the stove, then looked at her disciples as if she knew what they were thinking.
Gabriella and Jophiel nodded several times.
"Fufu~ Goddess Elysia is my origin, my Goddess Master, and I prefer to refer to her grace as Mama Elysia. She is my beloved master and mother. Her wish is the same as mine. Please treat her with the utmost respect regardless of her adorable baby’s appearance." Miko gave her disciples a head pat, then returned to cooking super special baby porridge for her mother.
"Goddess Elysia is our master’s Goddess Master and mother. Alright, our master is our master, and Goddess Elysia is our master’s mother, and our Goddess Master." Jophiel nodded in understanding.
"Understood. But, master... may I ask the difference between an avatar and a clone?" Gabriella scratched her head.
Miko tapped her chin, trying the best words to explain it. She then raised her finger. "Avatar is the fragment of the origin soul or the soul puppet. My case is the former. Goddess Elysia created me, and I’m literally her daughter. As for the clone, it is the power manifestation or the controlled puppet."
After enlightening her disciples, she remembered her mother’s divine avatar. Her mother called her Miko, but the other avatar didn’t have a name yet. Nevertheless, she already considered her mother’s divine avatar as her older sister.
"Wait, my mother also has a twin sister and a divine avatar. Counting myself, there are actually four of us." Miko raised four of her fingers as she mentioned it to her disciples.
"Fo, four?" Gabriella and Jophiel was taken aback. There were still two more people identical to their master and Goddess Master!
"Aunt Ai often resides in Mama Elysia’s shadow, and her divine avatar rarely leaves the Soul Realm. You’ll only see us a lot, though. I’m just letting you know." Miko smiled playfully. She finished cooking and took the hotpot to go to the courtyard. "My baby mother, Mama Elysia, it’s time to eat~"
Elysia stretched out her hand, trying to take a spoon. However, Zera and Miko prevented her as they wished to feed her. Thus, she requested with a sparkling baby gaze. "Can I hold the spoon and feed myself?"
"No." Miko and Zera responded in unison.
Gabriella and Jophiel ate their porridge breakfast across the table, watching their master feed their Goddess Master happily. Seeing such a warm atmosphere, they smiled gently as if no other things could bother their serene mind.
Their master had enlightened them, and they could finally rearrange their thoughts. Their master was always their master, regardless of the other truth.
The family increased. It was the only crucial one they had to know.
"Say, aah~" Miko brought the spoon closer to her mother’s mouth.
"You’re really enjoying this, hmm?" Elysia was pretty amused and obediently opened her mouth, eating her delicious, highly nutritious porridge. After that, Zera took turns to feed her.
"I overslept... Oh my~" Yuuki rushed out of the humble abode. Yet, she was taken by the pleasant surprise that awaited her in the courtyard.
The baby Elysia was there, and Elysia’s plushie avatar, as the shrine priestess, was also there.
"Yuuki, come and join us. I made enough porridge for everyone. There’s more in the kitchen too." Miko raised her hand in invitation.
"Then, please excuse me." Yuuki received the invitation. She sat on Zera’s left side, watching Elysia being fed by Zera and Miko.
A few moments later, the other disciples soon joined the breakfast. Evelyn and Kirara also came but did their morning prayer routine first, not to the Goddess statue, but to the baby Elysia.
Sylvia was the last one to join and filled the last empty seat. Everyone received a bowl of warm porridge for breakfast.
"Ely, what are you going to do with those visitors? We have over a hundred groups in the queue, including influential ones. The ancient demons came straight here because of that divine light pillar." Sylvia rested her head in her hands, watching her baby master cheerfully as it brought her some happiness. She probably could stare at her baby master’s cuteness all day long.
"Please call me Miko. Let them come tomorrow as scheduled." Miko put her hand on the table and responded calmly.
She didn’t need to plot anything with her mother by her side. As long as those visitors come with good intentions, they would welcome anyone with good hospitality.
"Alright then." Sylvia nodded in understanding.
*Rumble* *Rumble*
Several vibrations shook the entire Sacred Mountain. It was subtle and didn’t spell disaster, but it made everyone wonder about what was happening.
"Several nature spirits brought out the crystalline altar from the underground sacred ground. Please wake Zi Xuan and bring her to see us." Elysia looked to the side, or more precisely, the hole leading to the underground cave chamber, the former sacred ground.
"I shall bring her before you." Sylvia immediately flew away like a flash of black mist.
Zera wrapped her arms around Elysia’s waist and then carried her baby master in her arms. Afterward, she flew out of the shrine abode and landed near the big hole. Several people followed right behind.
Sure enough, some nature spirits were doing something there. The earth spirit widened the passage, and the sky spirit, with several other nature spirits, lifted the crystalline altar out.
"Blop, blop..." The water spirit greeted everyone.
"Rua?" Sakura asked with astonishment.
The spirits then chatted a little with Sakura about what they were doing.
"What did they say?" Kirara whispered close to Evelyn’s ear.
"Can you see nature spirits?" Evelyn wasn’t too sure either. She could see a few lumps of elemental spirits but couldn’t hear what they were talking about.
"Sakura is talking to a lump of water." Kirara was astonished. She knew her friend was as clueless as her.
"Sakura is asking those spirits about what they are doing." Gabriella explained a little as she knew not everyone could see or hear the spirit’s voice, let alone communicate with them.
"You received an order from Heaven to bring this crystalline altar out and place it in the shrine abode’s courtyard?" Elysia glanced at Miko with a clueless gaze.
"Why don’t they meet us? They haven’t told us anything." Miko asked in wonder.
"Rua, rua?" Sakura also tried to guess.
"That’s probably because they waited for my condition to improve before contacting us? They also have their own problems and feel bad about asking for help when we’re not fully recovered." Elysia came up with the most plausible answer.
Nevertheless, she still permitted the nature spirits to put that crystalline altar to the shrine abode.
The earth spirit closed the hole tightly as there was nothing down there anymore.
When Zi Xuan arrived, Miko asked for something right away. "Zi Xuan, do you have anything meaningful underground? I mean, your temple or something? You were here before we came, right?"
"Uhm-mm?" Zi Xuan looked at Ely and the Baby Goddess Elysia several times.
She could see two Ely, the usual holy maiden and the one supposedly the Supreme Goddess, in an adorable baby form. They were supposed to be one existence and an avatar, but both possessed an aura of the intact soul and spirit...
"How do I refer to you now, holy maiden?" Zi Xuan scratched her head.
"Please call me Miko."
"Alright, Miko... I don’t have anything of value down there. Someone once built a temple here and worshiped my blue crystal coffin. The moment the Heavenly Star Fall incident happened, everything crumbled to dust. However, Heaven brought a miracle and restored this place with a fragment of Heaven. That’s why I was buried there... Anyway, why are you asking that now?" Zi Xuan shared what she knew, leaving her with another question.
"It’s fine. The earth spirit closed the hole and buried the cave chamber for good." Miko heaved a relieved sigh. If Zi Xuan wanted to, they might need to dig that hole again.
"Rua, rua!" Sakura returned and told Goddess Elysia something important. The last message from the nature spirits after they put the crystalline altar in the courtyard.
"Mm, I understand. The crystalline altar will be useful for their purposes in the future. Also, do they want us to activate it when I have recovered enough power to stay in touch with them? Alright, their crystal cores and catalysts are with us. Zera shall bring them out when the time comes." Elysia looked up at the sky. He-Dao, his accomplices, and Divine World-related matters would wait.
Those Gods and Immortals wished her help, but they were considerate enough to wait for her to have enough strength to help them...
