The courtyard was adorned with pathways paved in glimmering stones that radiated their gentle light, casting a soft, enchanting glow upon the ground. These paths lead to a central open space.

Across the pond bridge, a shrine caught everyone’s attention. The six-winged Goddess statue clasped her hands in prayer, blessing the guests with her divine grace.

The Goddess statue was carved with expressions of serene wisdom and benevolence, exuding an aura of holiness that seemed to make anyone feel a deep reverence to kneel and pay respects.

In the center of the courtyard, a majestic Sacred Sakura Tree towered high into the sky, providing shade and a sacred aura to its surroundings, especially to the residence next to it.

Lush gardens surrounded the courtyard, their flora a blend of earthly and otherworldly beauty. Exotic flowers from distant lands bloom in vibrant shades, unaffected by winter’s touch. Their fragrances carried hints of starlight and moonbeams.

Everything looked too beautiful and perfect for this world. Every plant was top-tier elixirs or above, every element in this courtyard was built with many treasures, and this place’s artistic value and beauty... it was fair to say that they visited the Immortal Residence bestowed by Heaven.

However, every guest recalled what Saintess Miko had said to them before. This peak was her family home... her home!

"..." Sylvia replied with a tactical nod.

"Where is our courtesy? We were too fascinated by the Immortal Residence. We forgot to greet the most respected divinity of the Sacred Sakura." Klaus hurried across the pond, paying his utmost respect to the Goddess statue.

The other guests soon followed suits.

"!?" Meiying, Mingyue, and Elder Li Mei gasped as they passed by the pond

After conveying their greetings and respect, Miko took everyone for a little tour.

When they approached the Sacred Sakura Tree, they noticed two peerless beauties sitting under it, leaning against the tree trunk while reading a book.

Nobody could notice these ladies from the entrance because they were on the other side of the tree, but the guests were staring at them, which wasn’t pleasant.

Mingyue and Elder Li Mei soon followed suit. Klaus and Abraham also paid their respect accordingly.

"..." Skyla was stunned when she looked at the lady with long midnight-black hair.

She had no idea who this lady was. Nevertheless, she felt the surrounding brilliance was pale compared to this evil-jade beauty.

A brilliant idea suddenly crossed his mind. "Ahem, Gerard, why don’t you take Skyla, your good fiancee, to rest for a while? She’s probably tired or something."

"She can walk by herself, right? The guest room is over there." Sylvia was reluctant and pointed in a direction.

"What if you take her now? You can’t dump her again like three 37 years ago."

"Why would I dispose of her?"

"Why are they leaving in such a hurry?" Elysia asked in wonder while giving another head pat to Gio and Cherub. Noir asked some head pats, too, and the good boy received it as he deserved it.

"No idea." Yuuki shrugged, then returned to reading the grimoire by syncing her vision to her Goddess Master.
