Chapter 274: The Local Goddess of Fate

When the luxurious carriage pulled by six alicorns arrived at the Church of Insight, many people were already waiting around the grand bridge as if they wanted to welcome the arrival of their honored guests.

It was a grand cathedral the size of more than two football fields with modern architecture decorated all in white and gold.

The carriage stopped at one of the grand entrances, and the old gentleman got down to open the carriage door.

The Destiny Knights had already lined up, and six escort knights led by Michael were standing by the carriage door.

The first ones to get out of the carriage were Jophiel and Dory. They offered their hands to help Miko down.

Then, Morfina and Amy. They also offered their assistance to help Elysia get down.

"Welcome to the Chruch of Insight. I am honored to meet you, holy mother and priestess of the Elysion Chruch." The high priest greeted the guests respectfully and politely.

"Thank you for your welcome, high priest of the Chruch of Insight." Elysia glanced in a particular direction inside the main church building.

"The oracle has descended, and our God awaits your presence. Please follow me." The high priest raised his palm like a praying Buddha. He led the guests to go inside the cathedral without further ado.

They were guided into a grand hall. The venue’s architecture was characterized by grandeur, featuring soaring columns, ornate decorations, and a design that exuded a sense of history and holiness.

It was the place of worship. The one that attracted attention the most was an ethereal glass painting behind the altar. It was a painting of a Goddess opening her arms to mortals to give her a blessing.

"We have been waiting for your arrival, distinguished guests from the other world." The holy priestess greeted politely.

She tried to look calm and composed but still couldn’t hide the turmoil in her heart. After all, it had been a while since her Goddess sent an oracle, and this time, the divine grace notified her that several distinguished guests would pay a visit!

"You are too stiff and nervous even though your Goddess has sent her oracle to you. Take a deep breath and let it out slowly, young priestess." Elysia smiled behind her veil.

She walked closer to the front bench, looking at the ethereal glass painting of the Goddess of Fate. It was easy to tell someone was already there waiting for their arrival.

’Miko, please check that glass painting’s status.’ Elysia glanced at Miko beside her.

Miko replied with a subtle nod and used her eye ability, the one bestowed by Heaven. The simple status screen then popped out.

"..." Elysia felt a bit complicated. She came to say hello and maybe ask for a little help, but the other party suddenly made a request first.

Elysia didn’t immediately answer. She snapped her fingers to pull Nell and Miko into the separated dimension created by Qhuhtia.

"The Goddess of Fate from the Quadtria Planet’s Divine World. Pleased to meet you. Is it alright for us to call you Katie?" Elysia greeted politely.

"Katie?" Qhuhtia flinched a bit because that nickname grazed her true name.

She then glanced to the side and averted her gaze when she noticed the Agent of Dark Realm giving her some signals. "Err, may I know what it means? Why did you suddenly give me a nickname?"

"It means pure. It will make it easier for us to communicate." Elysia explained a little.

"!?" Qhuhtia was shocked after interpreting the Agent of Dark Realm’s signals.

The Supreme Goddess could see the truth and discover God’s true name effortlessly... not even Heaven could hide it from her omniscient divinity! Thus, her true name was already known to the Supreme Goddess, and this nickname would serve as her personal pronoun.

After realizing that, she immediately clasped her hands and smiled kindly. "Yes, Katie is my nickname now. Please feel free to call me Katie."

"Wonderful. Let me introduce you to three of my family members. She is the Goddess of Fate and Fortune, and this angelic fairy is the Goddess of Blessings. And this lovely priestess is my avatar and daughter, Miko." Elysia introduced her family members one by one.

"Hi~" Nell waved her hand.

Miko bowed respectfully after her mama’s introduction.

However, Fortuna greeted with a mysterious smile. "Pleased to meet you, this world’s Goddess of Fate."

Fortuna and Katie then chatted for several minutes. A hint of rivalry sparked behind their smiles.

Seeing that, Elysia, Miko, and Amy sat on a bench as if they were spectators.

"It seems Lady Fortuna is displeased with Lady Katie." Miko whispered close to her mama’s ear.

"Fortuna tried to measure Katie’s fate depth. They are already getting along well even though they have just met. Don’t worry about them." Elysia reassured Miko with a head pat.

"Oh no! I’m running out of time. Please come to the Fate Palace in the Divine World when you ascend, Lady Fortuna. I look forward to your visit. Please bring the Supreme Goddess too." Katie checked her timer and extended her hand for a handshake.

"With pleasure. However, Fortuna is my true name. Please be careful when you call me." Fortuna shook Katie’s hand.

"Your true name? Aren’t you afraid? We shouldn’t let anyone know our true name." Katie widened her eyes.

"It’s okay. I am a member of the Supreme Goddess family. We shared our fate and destiny. If someone dares to curse my true name, they will suffer the consequences from our whole family." Fortuna smiled mysteriously in reply.

"Ugh, so it would serve as a tricky trap. It’s wonderful to be under the Supreme’s protection." Katie intertwined her fingers and glanced at the Supreme Goddess.

She then remembered her previous request, which had yet to be said. Therefore, she immediately approached to apologize. "Time is running out. I am too engrossed. Please forgive me for leaving you aside, my lady!"

"It’s alright. Let’s listen to your request." Elysia replied with a subtle nod.
