Chapter 303: She Fought Tooth and Nail
Chapter 303: She Fought Tooth and Nail
The Kaleidoscopic Sphere crumbled into colourful powder, revealing the Goddesses to the outside world with heavenly splendour.
No divine phenomenon occurred because the Heavens didn’t even know what happened. However, Miko and everyone in the courtyard received profound reverence upon witnessing the revelation, mainly because their Goddess Master’s divine appearance was so radiant and dazzling.
"Welcome back from your seclusion, master! And, Venerated Goddesses." Yuuki took the lead in paying her respects by kneeling, followed by everyone.
"Rise." Elysia moved her hand in a gentle movement, making everyone in front of her stand up. Her expression remained calm and serene but gradually melted into her usual soft and gentle face. "We’re back."
It was still twilight, and the twin red moon was clearly visible on the eastern horizon even though the sun was still shining brightly in the west.
Elysia wanted to exchange words with her people. She missed them as it felt like she had been separated from them for a long time. However, the twin red moon looked odder than usual and caught her attention.
One of the moons looked like a crescent moon, but it wasn’t due to the effect of light. Instead, it was indeed like a bitten fruit.
"Is it normal for the moon to look like that?" Elysia pointed to the twin red moon in the distance.
"Mama, a terrible thing happened." Miko immediately approached and held her mama’s hand.
Elysia then invited everyone to the shrine’s pavilion for a deeper conversation.
"We have two things that have not been resolved yet. Agent Amy’s matter and the Blood Moon Sovereign. The first one still thinks the Kaleidoscopic Sphere is still in the hands of the Unknown Immortal, and the last one awaits divine punishment." Elysia nodded in understanding after Miko and everyone took turns telling her the situation.
Of all things, only two remained. However, she couldn’t help but glance at Zi Xuan. They had an Immortal from the Divine World here, but she had no idea why Zi Xuan still hadn’t told Amy to return.
"My sincerest apologies! I’ve tried telling her to return, but my proficiency couldn’t match the two 16th Rank Immortals. They kept moving in intensive pursuit, and I couldn’t even catch up with their shadows." Zi Xuan kowtowed and explained the situation to avoid misunderstandings and blame.
"Alright, don’t kowtow like you’re guilty, Xuan Xuan. We’ll bring Agent Amy back and teach that thief a lesson." Elysia stood up, followed by her Goddess sisters.
"Please be safe." Miko waved her hand.
"We’ll be back soon." Elysia glanced at the live footage of the moon that Xentia showed on the virtual screen. She spread her magical wings wide and instantly took her Goddess sisters into space.
"Hmm~ Our Ely is becoming increasingly out of reach, but I am grateful she is our Goddess Master. I still remember our first adventurer days." Sylvia rested her cheek in her hand, pointing towards the moon.
"Adventure? The guild one? Hmm, the ones who pretend to be ordinary adventurers?" Evelyn tried to recall it, but she couldn’t remember it clearly.
"Hehe, it was just me and Ely. We once pretended to be weak girls. Even my father paid very expensive consequences because he underestimated Ely." Sylvia chuckled slightly, feeling nostalgic.
"But, you once harmed our master’s incarnation." Yuuki brought it up, and it ruined Sylvia’s mood.
"I’ve received redemption for that, okay! Even Ai has forgiven me." Sylvia stood up, glaring at Ella.
"Fufu~" Yuuki covered her mouth and chuckled. Of all things, that one sentence was the one that could swing Sylvia’s mood drastically.
"Xentia, let’s teleport to ES Nirvana. I want to watch how our master resolves this matter on the moon." Sylvia pulled Xentia’s arm while looking at the twin red moon.
"Understood, but please release my arm first." Xentia nodded in understanding and tapped Sylvia’s hand.
Some people also wanted to come, but Xentia didn’t want everyone to leave the Shrine Abode empty. Thus, she only brought half of the group with her.

Over a million kilometers from the Planet Quadtria, an apocalypse-tier clash unfolded between two Immortal Lords who want to kill each other.
The purple phantom initially just wanted to snatch the treasure and leave. Still, she never expected the Agent of Heaven to hunt her down without caring about anything, not even one’s life.
Both of them suffered severe injuries, but Amy was the one suffering the lethal wounds due to her endless chase and attack.
As for the purple phantom lady, she was still in almost perfect shape, only suffering from many internal and spiritual wounds due to her constant escape and defense tactics.
"Give it back..." Amy muttered hoarsely, enveloped in the divine dark calamity energies and moving like a monster.
"Heeh~ Do you think I will fulfil it? You’ll die soon because of your desperate measures. The treasure that is more precious than an Immortal Lord’s life is mine. Not even the God Emperor can take what is already mine." The purple phantom laughed mockingly.
"You’ll die a horrible death soon. It was almost time for her emergence..." Amy counted the timer in her mind, and it was almost time for Goddess Ely to come out of seclusion.
She failed to retrieve the Kaleidoscopic Sphere, and several days had passed. In her current condition, she might survive for another six hours before she had to use her last resort to drag the Heavenly Rebel to hell with her.
She had to redeem herself. Death was just another form of life for Immortal. She was willing to receive her punishment from her Lord and the Supreme Goddess later as long as she could drag this Heavenly Rebel to the boiler room, the deepest hell after death.
Goddess Ely might be unable to trust her anymore because of this incident. Nevertheless, her Lord could send another Heavenly Agent to replace her. Most importantly, she had to ensure her Lord would forgive her. Bringing down the 16th Rank Heavenly Rebel was her only chance for it.
If Goddess Ely still hadn’t emerged before her last blood burned dry, she had to use her last resort. Nevertheless, it would be best if Goddess Ely would come out to help her before her final desperate measure.
"Is it worth the sacrifices? Both of you." Elysia greeted from the side, floating between the two 16th Rank Immortal Lords about to clash again.
She spread her magical wings to form the cosmic curtain, ensuring the two opponents could not see each other.
"!!!" The purple phantom gasped in surprise. A Goddess approached from the side without her noticing, which scared her very much.
Either this opponent was the worst enemy that could blend with nature and universe or an entity far beyond her level.
Regardless, she was currently injured, and it would be terrible if she had to face this Mysterious Goddess. She could think nothing but to escape immediately before it was too late. Yet, her escape path was already blocked by several Goddesses.
"You won’t go anywhere." Ai’s shadowy embodiment smiled broadly like a nightmare monster of doom.
"Reinforcements from the upper world? The Heavenly Palace and those Divine World’s hypocrites are certainly adept at breaking their own rules. Unfortunately, you are only seven Goddesses below the Heavenly level. Not even the Immortal God of Heaven can block my path if I want to escape!" The purple phantom slipped into the red moon, disappearing into the shadows.
Ai and Zera immediately gave chase in their shadow forms. The rest flew in different directions as they would block the tricky shadow thief on the possible escape path in the void.
"H-how?" Amy recovered from her shock but was still incredibly shocked beyond measure.
She fought tooth and nail to retrieve the Kaleidoscopic Sphere. Yet, Goddess Ely appeared out of nowhere mysteriously, and for sure, she knew it was not from that Heavenly Rebel’s personal spatial realm.
"You look so desperate and messy, Agent Amy. Why not check out the Sacred Mountain once or stop briefly so Zi Xuan can tell you about it?" Elysia sighed, approaching Amy.
"I-" Amy wanted to say something, but she wasn’t so sure.
"Don’t talk. Deactivate your battle mode. I’ll help you." Elysia raised her hand.
"I’ll die sooner if I deactivate it now. Let me use my-" Amy took out her life-saving treasure, but Goddess Elys held her hand.
"With me around, you’ll be fine. You can use it for later use. Heed my commands with no question. I’ll help you to avoid death and severe backlash." Elysia raised her finger near Amy’s head.
Amy nodded obediently. She soon realized the cause was probably Miko. She had just left that day, but Miko was one of Goddess Ely’s avatars. Miko could retrieve the Kaleidoscopic Sphere without effort...
"Okay, now strengthen your resolve, gather the rest of your divine power in one of your dantians. Never resist my spiritual flows. This will hurt a little." Elysia instructed Amy, and Amy followed it without hesitation.
"Then, sleep." Elysia flicked Amy’s forehead.
"!?" Amy was knocked unconscious in that instant. Her divine darkness vanished, revealing her severely injured body to the Goddess Ely.
She fell into Goddess Ely’s arms. At the end of her consciousness, she read the movements of Goddess Ely’s lips.
"I changed my mind. It was a nightmare, but you shall succumb to the pleasant sleep now." Elysia muttered without using her magical power, but her voice was lost in the near-perfect vacuum of outer space.
She then provided first aid to save Amy’s life from the life-threatening condition.
The unconscious Amy twitched several times in the process of emergency healing. Considering the significant internal damage caused by several forbidden techniques and sacrifice methods used for several days, it wouldn’t heal Amy entirely.
Amy fought to a draw against the 16th Rank heavenly Rebel alone in the disadvantaged conditions. Regardless, it was what one could expect from the Agent of Heaven to survive that long.
