My Goddess is Good at Pretending

Chapter 316: Talk About Faith

Chapter 316: Talk About Faith

All the participants would need to pass through the barrier and move in a group. However, they knew only those with 7th Rank capabilities or above could pass through that and enter the unknown secret realm.

Miko and her core disciples were the ones to enter the unknown secret realm. Lifa led her Goddess sisters to enter, as they had to build the safe zone before anything else. However, Sacred Sakura’s elders would remain outside for the time being to supervise all the participants.

"What are you waiting for? It’s our time to seek the opportunities presented to us!" An old human cultivator raised his sheathed sword excitedly. He led his group to break into the spiraling darkness.

"Let’s go." Abraham gave a signal to his group.

"En." Skyla nodded and rushed into the unknown secret realm with their nightmare demon group.

All the upper-class groups immediately followed in as if they wanted to take advantage of the momentum. The thousands of people crowded in the gathering ground reduced drastically, leaving only a few behind.

"The danger that awaits us is unpredictable. Make sure to always move in a group. You hear me?" Alicia reminded her fellow mage, and she emphasized her reminder once again to the wilful witches.

"Yes, my queen." Medea saluted as she knew that repeated reminders were aimed at her too.

Lucius also nodded in understanding. It was a group event, and he was already in a group he could trust. They also had to meet the requirements with thorough preparation. Thus, they were ready to go at any time.

Alicia separated the seven witches of origin, including her, into different groups to ensure the balance in each of her Sanguine Occult’s groups. After that, she led her mage groups into the unknown secret realm.

"Hehe~" Bai Yuchen laughed strangely as he broke through the barrier. He participated in this major event and would ensure it was his time to shine, even though his exploration group was not the best he could get.

*Bam!*

Several people crashed into the barrier, unable to enter.

"Wait, what does this mean? I am a 7th Rank expert and have met the requirements!" The young man shouted out loud, full of dissatisfaction.

His comrades also couldn’t accept that situation.

"Hmm... Your group of six are all at 7th Rank or above, but only two meet the requirements. As for you four, your cultivation rank is pumped up by the medicines. Your capabilities won’t even be equivalent to a 6th Rank Late Stage elite. You won’t receive your entrance ticket. Return to your outpost." Luna observed those people and stated the results of her decisions in her usual authoritative tone.

"What’s the meaning of this? That’s so unreasonable! We’re also from the Human Alliance and-" One of the young men couldn’t accept it, but his mouth was forced to remain silent as the pressure fell on him.

"Do I need to repeat it? Take them away." Luna squinted her eyes and raised her hand to her people.

"Pardon me. Please this way. As for you two, you need to form a new group." The warrior leader approaches with his team, asking the disqualified participants to go with him.

"Tsk." The two people who had met the requirements could only click their tongues in annoyance. They chose the wrong members and needed to form a new group.

Half an hour later, all the participants from the allied force finally entered the unknown secret realm. The disqualified ones had to wait at the outpost outside the Seven Great Mountains area.

For Sacred Sakura’s people, more than half of the outer disciples couldn’t participate. However, they were there to guard their home and watch over the guests in their territory.

"Feng Xue is late." Vanessa checked her clock cube.

"Master Ely will close the realm portal through Miko at 9 o’clock. We will wait until then." Yuuki grasped her hand, talking to Miko via telepathy.

Miko and Sacred Sakura’s core disciples were behind the realm portal, helping the Goddesses build a safe zone.

"Sigh, I don’t understand what’s so good about that half-demoness. Yes, she is pitiful, but why does our master give her such a privilege?" Sylvia couldn’t help but sigh.

"Our master’s goal is beyond our understanding. Please don’t misunderstand her gentle attitude and kindness. Her Divine Grace already planned everything far ahead of us." Morfina grasped her hand with a tender smile adorning her beautiful, noble, elven expression.

"Yes, our Goddess wished for it, and Feng Xue is lucky to receive our master’s blessing. It is always welcome to new loyal followers." Ella clasped her hand in prayer.

"Sylvi, don’t talk like that. Our master only showed Feng Xue, currently the Scarlet Moon Queen, a new path, the best one. She lost faith in her origin and would do good as our master’s new follower. We’ll let her prove herself." Lynn held Sylvia’s shoulders from behind, reminding her gently.

"Alright, alright... I understand. I’ll leave her alone for now. But she is still on the gray list in my book. She received our master’s blessing, and I will see whether she is worthy. No betrayal allowed to exist." Silvia grasped her fist.

"..." Yuuki glanced at Sylvia, but she remained silent as she knew Sylvia had something extreme towards betrayal.

"Hmm..." Evelyn just nodded, but she agreed with Sylvia.

"Please pardon our intrusion, esteemed ladies. May we join your conversation?" Bhaenera asked politely. She led the external elders to join the internal elder group circle.

"Sure, you can join us without needing to ask. You are our people as well~" Yae, the little pink fairy, hovered around, inviting the other good leaders to join while waiting for nine o’clock to arrive.

---

Under the reddish night sky in the Scarlet Domain Secret Realm, Feng Xue was already preparing to leave with her personal servants.

They wore scarlet-black combat suits with a bloody rose symbol, resembling the assassins, indicating their stance was no longer the Blood Moon Pavilion’s people.

They were standing on top of a high tower, looking down at a particular disguised person performing an anonymous act of kindness.

That disguised person was none other than the Blood Moon Sovereign. Because the Sacred Sakura Goddess inflicted a divine punishment, he had to do something good and cleanse his mind from evil to relieve the unbearable pain.

Feng Xue looked at it with a cold gaze. She truly wanted to kill him right now, but she only gritted her teeth and sighed in the end. "This divine punishment might be the best outcome. He will suffer for eternity against his new dao, which is forced to replace the old one. We better not cross paths ever again, father..."

After saying that, Feng Xue turned around. However, several people came to her group. She squinted her eyes and took a defensive stance, knowing several elders were there. They might come with despicable and hidden intentions like the previous ones.

"My lady, please regain your composure. They might not be that bad. After all, we’ve cleaned your name and swept the palace of pests. Your Little Yue is also there." Ling Guang put her hand on her lady’s back and reminded her lady with a tender tone.

"..." Feng Xue took a deep breath and sighed softly. She was done with her business in this place, so whatever those people would offer didn’t really matter.

When the elders landed, Feng Xue spoke in a cold tone. "If you think you can use me to exploit the Sacred Sakura, please pardon me for saying this frankly and clearly. I am Sacred Sakura’s people. I will not hesitate to attack you if you go against Her Divine Grace."

"Sister, please don’t say things like we have a blood feud towards Sacred Sakura. I will ensure Blood Moon Pavilion will not go against Her Divine Grace. We will pledge our loyalty, not just an alliance of mutual benefits. I will represent the Blood Moon’s side, and you from Sacred Sakura to Saintess Miko as liaison." Feng Mingyue approached and talked to her eldest sister closely.

"What are your plans for him? He’ll remain the supreme leader, and you can never replace him with your current strength." Feng Xue crossed her arms.

"That’s about father? Uhm, I’ve seen our clan’s forbidden records. Our father... he has done many evil things. Our predecessors and seniors... he is so heartless. He nurtured his offspring only for his personal benefit. He deserved that divine punishment and suffered all his life under that mental suppression and spiritual torture." Mingyue stepped forward, staring at her disguised father in the distance.

"I know, right." Feng Xue nodded slightly.

"Even so, he is still our father. He will remain the Blood Moon Sovereign and receive good treatment as the leader, but we will strip him of his power. We will form ministers and a senate in charge of that. Our siblings have been suppressed and received poor treatment for a long time... They are eager to join us to supervise and suppress him." Mingyue looked at her siblings behind the elders. She stated her decision slowly and clearly, as she wanted her eldest sister to understand.

"Be careful with your actions. Will they listen to you, the treasured princess with everything in hand? I’m sure they will be full of envy." Feng Xue raised her eyebrows.

"They took pity on us after knowing the bitter truth of our clan. It was like loving and caring for the cattle to be eaten in the future. My fate would be much darker than what they had gone through, so they agreed to participate in reforming the new Blood Moon Pavilion for everyone’s good future. The elders present here are also those with good intentions." Mingyue pointed her palm at the elders who came with her.

"Is that so... You’ve grown up, Yueyue. I’ll leave everything to you on this side, then. Let me know if you need help, but remember our bottom line. Never try to offend Her Divine Grace ever again." Feng Xue replied with a faint smile and stroked her youngest sister’s head.

"Mm! We’ve learned the hard way. Blood Moon Pavilion will cease to exist if we offend Her Divine Grace once again. But, sister..." Mingyue put her fingers together, a bit embarrassed to continue speaking.

"What is it?" Feng Xue retracted her hand.

"Can we go with you to seek the opportunities at Sacred Sakura? Her Divine Grace allows us to repair the broken relationship. We need to pledge our loyalty to her. We have prepared compensation. We also need more strength to face the future." Mingyue stated her wish with an expectant gaze.

"Alright. But I’m just Her Divine Grace’s servant, and I can’t help much with your goals there." Feng Xue agreed without delay.

"Thank you! We’ll grasp the opportunities with our hands." Mingyue raised her hand, and her followers immediately followed her gesture.

They then spoke to Feng Xue with some pleasantries and formalities. Some of them apologized for what Feng Xue had gone through.

However, it was already evening, and they had to go to Sacred Sakura immediately. Thus, everyone did not linger and rushed out of the Scarlet Domain Secret Realm. Feng Xue used her teleportation crystal to take everyone to Sacred Sakura’s region instantly.
