Yuna used her Heavenly Palace token, and the Moon Sovereign received the signal with great surprise.

He woke up from his seclusion and rushed out of his sacred chamber full of questions as to why Heavenly Palace would send someone to his domain all of a sudden.

A gleam of moonlight and stars shot from the main palace and landed on the sparkling floating island, standing several meters before the two veiled Goddesses.

The Moon Sovereign observed the situation, and his attention returned to the veiled white Goddess. "It’s you, White Heavenly Agent. To think He would send his right hand here... may this venerable inquire your true purpose?"

Megami checked the Moon Sovereign’s status screen for a moment. She received a glare from him, but she ignored it and sent a telepathy to him. ’Pleased to meet you, Moon Sovereign, Yue Cheng Shui. I am Ely. I don’t think this is the place for us to talk. Can we go somewhere else?’

"!?" Sovereign Yue widened his eyes in shock. It was an unspoken rule for the Gods and Immortals of Heaven to use pseudonyms or their divine titles.

’You, who are you? Please don’t mention my true name casually. Is Heavenly Dao the one commanding you?’ Sovereign Yue frowned and crossed his arms, feeling alert.

’No, I move independently. He can’t order me around. I discovered some interesting discoveries during my visit to your land. Would you like to hear it?’ Megami shook her head.

"Alright then." Sovereign Yue glared at the White Heavenly Agent and manifested a moonlight cloud. "Board on."

Megami, Yuna, and Zi Xuan boarded the moonlight cloud.

"Well then, thank you for your time, Senior Jiang. We need to leave now." Mytic waved her hand to Senior Jiang before going up as well.

"This, this... why did the Moon Sovereign come personally to pick up your servants?" Senior Jiang stuttered, nervous, and afraid of what was happening.

"If we consider our ranks, I am the one who should be their servant." Mytic tapped her cheek in amusement.

"You, why didn’t you tell me before? My lady, please forgive my ignorance and rudeness!" Senior Jiang was terrified when he remembered he had offended the Heavenly Palace’s people and treated her as a mere servant. He immediately knelt down, begging for forgiveness.

"What did he do? Did he offend you?" Sovereign Yue raised his eyebrow, wondering what happened.

"You might suffer if it was another Agent of Heaven. Be sure to remember the influential people in all Heavens, junior. It could save you someday." Yuna heaved a subtle sigh.

"Hmm, who will recognize you if you wear that veil to disguise your aura and face." Sovereign Yue rolled his eyes. Even though it was him, recognizing this peak stage 16th Rank Heavenly Agent would also take a while.

He took his guests to his palace without further ado.

In a magnificent guest room lit by warm moonlight, Sovereign Yue sat on his throne and invited all the guests to take their seats.

He erected a potent barrier to isolate the room from the outside world and looked up at the Goddess Ely. He couldn’t appraise or inspect her, and it truly intrigued him. "Now it’s just us. Who are you, and what do you want to tell me?"

"Her name is Zi Xuan. She was once a saintess candidate in your Moon Palace. However, she encountered a complicated accident and was forced to a dead end. Even under the protection of your sovereignty, she got her clan wiped out by the demons. She is now has become my priestess. Also, we are here to discover the truth and tell you that demons have most likely infected your land."

Megami explains several important points and one suspicion that needs to be confirmed as soon as possible.

"Hmm…" Sovereign Yue stroked his chin calmly, but inside, he was extremely shocked.

It was truly a great loss because he overlooked such a great talent under his nose. However, he was concerned about what this mysterious Goddess said at the end of the sentence. "What do you mean about demonic infection?"

"That’s still my suspicion, but there is a reason behind Heavenly Demon invading your land about a thousand years ago. Can you summon Saintess Qin here? "..." Sovereign Yue became increasingly interested in unveiling this mysterious Goddess’s real identity. However, there was a matter at hand, and he had to consider what she asked for.

He sent his order to summon Moon Saintess to his guest room. A few moments later, Saintess Qin knocked on the door and entered the sovereign’s living room.

"Moon Sovereign, I have come at your call. What are your instructions?" Saintess Qin clasped her fist and paid her respect.

"My guests have some things they want to prove to me regarding you. Turn around." Sovereign Yue extended his hand.

Saintess Qin had no suspicions and immediately turned around. However, she was surprised when she noticed a familiar face among the guests.

Apart from anything, she immediately put aside her thoughts because Zi Xuan had long died, and it was probably only someone with a similar face. After all, it had been more than a millennium.

Sovereign Yue made his move and unleashed his moonlight waterfall, putting tremendous pressure on the suspected defendant.

"Ack!?" Saintess Qin fell to the ground, unable to believe what was happening. She had no idea why she received such a treatment.

"Sacred Moon, the Principle Heart. O, one’s deepest soul, heed my command, confess your sins and wrongdoings." Sovereign Yue moved his hand upside down.

Saintess Qin’s spirit was pulled out of her body, and the pressure instantly vanished. She was unaware of what she said, but everything she said would be the truth.

"That is one of the secret techniques that can only be used by the Moon Sovereign. He forced those under his rule to confess." Zi Xuan whispered as she realized Megami was wondering what happened.

"It’s like soul searching? Won’t that harm her?" Megami tilted her head slightly.

"The suspect will not be aware of what they are confessing to, and they will not be hurt because of this." Zi Xuan shook his head.

Under Sovereign Yue’s divinity, Saintess Qin’s spirit confessed all her sins and wrongdoings.

She was just an ordinary person but received the greatest treasure that changed her fate. It was a potent ability to control and restrict her victim’s soul after they interconnected their bodies.

The high-rank guard was her first victim and brought her here. "Who are you!? Show yourself and face this sovereign here, coward demon!" Sovereign Yue unsheathed his divine sword, slashing through the mist.

Unfortunately, the Heavenly Demon was never there.

"Halt, you’re not going anywhere. It’s very cliche and boring. What if he hunts you down instead?" Megami crouched down and grabbed something towards Saintess Qin’s back.

Her astral hand entered Saintess Qin’s body, pulling out a wisp of black menace.

"!?" The menacing wisp was shocked because someone extracted it effortlessly from his host’s soul.

"Moon Sovereign, can you track down the owner of this menacing wisp with your divinity? You need to resolve your internal problem yourself. We have no right to prosecute those involved. Use this to minimize the curse if you want to purge the Heavenly Demon hiding in your territory." Megami sealed the wisp into a little seal crystal and handed it over to the Sovereign Yue along with a metal rod magic item.

"Yes, I can track him down. To think the great threat was lurking under my watch without my knowledge. I truly feel embarrassed. Thank you for your favour. I will express my gratitude properly after I resolve this matter. The matter is urgent. Then, please excuse me." Sovereign Yue held the metal rod, used the seal crystal, and flew out. His decree was issued suddenly, summoning all Moon Palace’s experts to move.

"It’s time for us to leave. What do you want to do?" Megami put the confused spirit back into Saintess Qin’s body.

"I, I... I want to kill her so badly, but I... my suffering. It’s too cheap for her. Please cripple her, master. Also, can I kill that Heavenly Demon with my own hands?" Zi Xuan tried her best to hold back her tears.
