My Goddess is Good at Pretending

Chapter 359: Partial Revival

Chapter 359: Partial Revival

Elysia played and hunted in the sea with Elena, Ai, and Gaia. Since the merged otherworld was primarily filled with aquatic creatures, the deep ocean became the best hunting ground.

"Bind, bind it tight." Elysia tied the giant half-transparent whale tightly.

"Phew, that was a great catch. It took us some effort to find and catch this one." Elena patted the half-transparent giant whale.

"What do you want to do by catching this mutated whale?" Gaia provided the last node to ensure the whale monster could not move.

"We slayed five divine-class super monsters in that backroom realm. Ely wants to revive at least one All-Devouring Whale for otherworld’s in-depth information." Ai rolled the whale upside down and then gave a signal to everyone.

"Yup. The destroyed world is from another dimension. We need to know why their world collapsed and merged with Earth." Elysia took out a blue divine core with the shadow of a sleeping whale in it.

"That one!?" Gaia widened her eyes in shock.

She remembered throwing those colossal space whales into Earth’s sealed dimensional realm several years ago. That crystal was the All-Devouring Whale’s divine core!

She rushed to Elysia’s side, wanting to reason with Elysia to cancel that monster revival plan.

However, Elena held Gaia’s shoulders and shook her head. "We’ve considered it all. We will fuse the divine core with this giant whale. The All-Devouring Whale is dead, but its divine soul and spirit are more or less intact. It’s not complete revival, but it will serve its purpose for us to uncover the mysteries behind that disaster."

"Well..." Gaia felt somewhat relieved hearing that.

The mutated giant whale wouldn’t pose any threat despite possessing the divine soul, especially since they were there.

Several years ago, she once interrogated some peak-level creatures, the strongest ones on the monster side in the south. Unfortunately, those SSS-level creatures knew nothing about why their original world collapsed and merged with Earth.

The otherworld’s name was still unknown because those monsters only called their world as the World, without a particular name. So, interrogating the divine-level creature might yield some helpful information.

*Plop*

Elysia created the underwater profound core fusion formation for the fainted half-transparent giant whale. She pushed the All-Devouring Whale Core to the whale’s core of life.

Thousands of astral threads moved to guide the All-Devouring Core to the whale’s spiritual sea before Elysia started the fusion.

"I’m sorry, great whale. If your consciousness is dominant, you will evolve to become the divine whale. I will ensure the All-Devouring Whale does not devour you." Elysia patted the whale’s belly.

After saying that, Elysia controlled her core fusion formation and started the process.

The All-Devouring Whale Core devoured much of the whale’s essence of life. The All-Devouring Whale’s soul and spirit took over a moment later.

Even though the dominant one had swallowed the weaker one, the two whale’s spirits did not merge. They floated in the spiritual sea, looking at each other in confusion.

"Who are you? Who am I?" The blue All-Devouring Whale muttered in confusion.

"Fwissshhhh..." The half-transparent white whale responded confusedly.

"Where are we? This space is a bit narrow. Is this a spiritual sea?" The blue All-Devouring Whale swam around curiously.

"Some humans captured us and seem to want to eat us." The half-transparent white whale tried to remember the last things that happened before it fainted.

"Puny humans dare to eat me, the great whale? Wait, I have ascended to become the All-Devouring Whale, the divine space whale! Who dares to treat me like a mere fish!?" The blue All-Devouring Whale recalled a fragment of its divine knowledge. It roared in fury and immediately vanished from the spiritual sea, taking over the fainted whale’s body to awareness.

The great whale’s half-transparent white body began changing to half-transparent blue. The core fusion was complete, and the All-Devouring Whale began to regain consciousness.

Unfortunately, the first thing it could realize was that its body was tied tightly like a fish had just been caught.

"Who dares to treat this venerable like this!?" The All-Devouring Whale struggled.

The water blades rotated around its skin, cutting the ropes instantly. The All-Devouring Whale turned its body around, looking around for the evildoers that had tied it up.

It could only find four little female humanoid creatures. However, it was shocked beyond belief at that very moment because the nightmare flashed through its mind.

The nearby green-haired Goddess was the one it encountered years ago. The cause of its suffering in that colorful sea!

The All-Devouring Whale considered nothing more. It swallowed up its fury and immediately turned around, swimming away as fast as possible as if its life was at stake.

*Drip*

Unfortunately, a dark lasso suddenly shot out and tied its body.

"Why are you in such a hurry to leave? We won’t eat you." Ai pulled the All-Devouring Whale back.

"Who are you!?" The All-Devouring Whale gasped in shock. It tried to swim and kept swimming, but it became futile as the little humanoid creature overpowered its might!

"You regained your consciousness and sanity. Did Gaia scare you?" Elysia checked the great whale with her Sacred Vision.

She could see the original great whale co-existed with the All-Devouring Whale, not disappearing even though it was swallowed. It became one body with two spirits.

"She will not harm you as long as you are obedient." Elena crossed her arms and nodded in satisfaction. The experiment worked perfectly.

"How audacious!" The All-Devouring Whale swished its fishtail fiercely, causing huge waves to crash into those humanoid creatures.

*Bam!*

"Be obedient, or we’ll grill you." Ai slapped the All-Devouring Whale right on the head, and it instantly became still and motionless.

Elysia put the All-Devouring Whale into Helven Realm. Since the diving event had ended, she and her group swam back to a nearby uninhabited island.

"Gaia, thank you for your blessings." Elysia took off her diving equipment.

"That’s nothing. Then, shall we interrogate that All-Devouring Whale?" Gaia removed her diving equipment and flicked her long hair to the right and left.

"That’s obvious. Ely also captured that apocalyptic worm. We need to investigate that one as well." Elena did a little stretching, showing off her captivating curves.

"No more swimsuits. Please get dressed, and we shall meet them." Elysia nodded in agreement and handed over new dresses to Elena and Ai.

"The apocalyptic worm? Which one?" Gaia blinked her eyes cluelessly.

"That’s an arm-sized maggot. One of the apocalypse creatures sealed in Earth’s sealed dimensional realm." Elysia raised her arm, showing the mentioned creature as big as her arm.

"That’s the calamity, divine maggot! Oh, good Heavens, why did you bring that monster out? Its emergence will signal the beginning of the great apocalypse, alerting Earth’s Heavenly Laws!" Gaia gasped in shock, feeling disbelief at what Elysia had done.

"It was about to rush out, breaking out of the metal gate. Its seals and shackles were so worn out and loose. Why would you seal an arm-sized monster with such huge shackles?" Elysia shrugged her shoulders.

"Is that so? That maggot shrinks its body and waits for an opportunity to escape... Where is that monster then?" Gaia put her hand to her chin, comprehending the situation, but that didn’t make her worry any less.

"In Helven Realm. We never take it out." Elysia placed a portable protective formation.

After activating the barrier, she opened the Helven Realm portal using the realm key and entered. The newly dressed Elena and Ai immediately followed.

"..." Gaia checked her surroundings with her divine sense once before entering Helven Realm, one of the Elysium Family’s private realms.

*Rumble* *Rumble*

The extreme environment of the volcanic flame region was dominated by the relentless molten lava, billowing steam, and searing heat. This harsh realm was both beautiful and dangerous, shaped by the raw forces of volcanic activity.

The ground was crisscrossed with rivers of molten lava, flowing with an otherworldly, incandescent glow. The lava’s surface rippled and churned, casting an eerie light that danced across the charred terrain.

Gaia questioned why Elysia brought them here, but to her surprise, she realized the presence of several calamity beasts not far from their location.

Each one possessed an apocalyptic aura, not inferior to the monsters that could spell the end of the era of Earth’s civilization.

"Hey, Muckga. We told you to watch over it, right? Where is it now? Bring that little worm here." Elena raised her hand to the gigantic lava worm near the volcano.

"Oh, oh! That’s you, the realm master and master’s sisters. That little newcomer... Err, that one offended so many calamity beasts and almost perished for nothing. I keep it in my belly to safeguard it. I don’t eat it, okay?" Muckga writhed closer and vomited a small white maggot out of its stomach.

"I’m still alive!? Alive! Cough, cough! What’s wrong with this world? Why are there so many apocalyptic monsters here?" The calamity divine maggot cheered happily, but it was choking on the acidic liquid and lava.

"You still dare to be arrogant? Watch your attitude here, little one. I won’t save you anymore." Muckga warned the little maggot. He went to greet the Goddesses before returning to his resting place.

"Tch, if I was at my peak, I would have slaughtered you all. Even though you are one of my kind, I will not spare you." The calamity divine maggot snorted in contempt.

"You’re so talkative, huh. Then, that’s perfect. There’s a lot we want to talk about." Elysia caught the arm-sized maggot and put it in an iron cage.

"You! You are that terrifying wet woman!? What kind of world is this? Release me this instant, or you will regret it!" The calamity divine maggot threw its threat with blatant malice.

"Hmm-mm~" Elysia moved her finger and manifested her imaginary magic to bind the noisy maggot into a cocoon.

She used her divine power freely, without worrying about breaking Earth’s laws. After all, it was her family’s private realm.

"Ah, oh, oh! No, don’t be so tight! I’m still in my weakened state. Do you want to torture me!? It won’t lose that easily! Wait, why can’t I use my power!?" The calamity divine maggot struggled inside the cocoon.

"Be obedient, and you don’t have to suffer." Elena took the iron cage from Elysia’s hand and poked the cocoon with a wooden stick.
