Chapter 374: The 2nd Heavenly Principle

Elysia knew that she held no authentic Supreme power of creation. However, she still had to put up her act as the higher being of compassion and wisdom. She shared a little about the mysteries of the other universe and the Boundless Realm.

She somehow became like a lecturer. Those senior Immortals and Gods even listened like good students.

"What awaits on the other side of the universe? Our presence in this sea of stars, the greater boundless ocean of space, is like a minuscule existence. In the infinite universe, anything that could be imagined might exist somewhere."

After saying that, Elysia felt that her lecture was enough. She couldn’t help but remember Seraph of the End, AKA Sera, the nigh-omnipotent heavenly being from the Boundless Realm outside the universe’s system.

Sera might still pay attention to her, and this nigh-omnipotent heavenly being would come for her in about five months.

Elysia turned around and returned to her seat. The Gods and Immortals expressed their gratitude for enlightening them. Yet, Elysia only responded with a subtle nod as she didn’t feel her nonsense regarding her shallow understanding of the divinity and universe could be compared to those Gods and Immortals with their countless eons of experience.

Little did Elysia know that her wisdom had already gained the reverence and awe of many divine beings of Heaven, including He-Dao and other God Emperors.

He-Dao felt dissatisfied and irritated when those Gods and Immortals, even the primordial beings, ogled their eyes at Goddess Ely.

He had to make Goddess Ely gain her foothold and everyone’s trust. However, her charm, wisdom, and attractiveness were far more significant than one could imagine.

Before anyone could take their follow-up action, Elysia stood up again. She looked up at the golden blue sky above.

"I guess we need to postpone this heavenly conference. We observe and analyze the situation in Nirvana Realm behind the seal." Elysia suggested, as she felt it would help if they made a plan after knowing the enemy’s situation.

"Alright then." He-Dao went closer to Goddess Ely and then cast a divine technique. "Warp."

Everyone in the heavenly hall was teleported to the sky above the Heavenly Palace.

Everyone present knew the Nirvana Seal... the barrier between the Heavenly Realm and Nirvana Realm was guarded by the Heavenly Emperor and the Heavenly Agents.

It was not the first time the Heavenly Palace conducted a mission to peer into the sealed 9th layer of Heaven. Unfortunately, nobody could gain any useful information because no one could look deeper through the seal, even the Heavenly Emperor, the strongest existence in all Heavens.

Regardless, the Supreme Goddess was already there, and something would be different.

"Emerge." He-Dao extended his hand upwards and commanded the heavenly laws to bring forth the Nirvana Seal.

High above the Heavenly Realm stood a sealed entrance to the corrupted realm. The forbidden gateway served as a primary barrier between the purity of the celestial domain and the darkness of corruption beyond. Peering into the depths of the sealed entrance, one could glimpse the twisted malevolent aura, sending shivers down the spine of even the bravest celestial beings.

The sealed entrance was guarded by a formidable celestial barrier woven from the purest energies of the Heavenly Realm. This barrier shimmered with iridescent light, pulsating with the power of divine protection and serving as the last line of defence against the encroaching corruption.

"We’re here again, Nirvana." He-Dao stroked the Nirvana Seal’s gateway, muttering as if talking to someone.

Those who didn’t know would assume the Heavenly Emperor was referring to the corrupted Nirvana Realm. However, Elysia knew it referred to a divine entity that had long been dead.

The primordial beings and Heaven Agents have also known the truth from eons ago. Nirvana was the 2nd heavenly principle.

’Quadtria is a greater world formed from three worlds and governed by four heavenly laws. Apart from He-Dao, there are two other heavenly principles. One is the corrupted one, and the other one is the very Nirvana Seal itself. She sacrificed herself to seal the Nirvana Realm.’

The massive God War caused the world to be destroyed twice. The first one forced He-Dao’s world and Nirvana’s world to merge. And, the second world destruction added the 3rd heavenly principle into the fold.

Unfortunately, the 3rd heavenly principle was thirsty for greater power and authority before finally falling into corruption, giving rise to countless abyssal corrupted monsters, which were then glorified by demonic beings, especially heavenly demons.

The Nirvana Seal would be broken in a few months, a year at most. The 2nd heavenly principle was long dead after her selfless sacrifice to seal countless corrupted monsters for eons, leaving only her will to protect Quadtria.

The divine decay had already reached the final stage within the divine fibers that made up the Nirvana Seal. Elysia could see the Nirvana Seal’s collapse would spell the 2nd heavenly principle to meet one’s true demise, perished into nihility, leaving behind nothing but memories.

From He-Dao’s gaze, Elysia could see a faint hint of longing. Nirvana was a significant existence for him.

Elysia heaved a subtle sigh. She could see the Gods and Immortals remaining silent at a safe distance, but some God Emperors seemed to greet the Nirvana Seal.

"Greetings. We’re here to observe the corrupted realm beyond the divine seal boundary. Please pardon me for my direct action." Elysia flew closer and activated her Sacred Vision, hoping the remaining Nirvana’s wisp of will wouldn’t restrict her.

Her eyes glowed with mythical purplish-blue radiance, looking at the Nirvana Seal’s gateway with a profound gaze.

He-Dao flew backward and signalled his Heavenly Agents to get into formation, protecting the vulnerable Supreme Goddess as planned.

Based on the Fate Goddess and several other divinations, an unknown existence would launch an ambush to harm Goddess Ely on this occasion. The Supreme Goddess had also predicted the future, and they had to ensure her safety.

Megami was super alert to keep an eye on their surroundings when her mama would peer deeper into the corrupted realm. Her hunch was still restless, indicating the inevitable ambush from the unknown remained unchanged.

Hovering within the void domain of the space boundary, a spectral guardian blocked Elysia’s partial consciousness.

The spectral guardian possessed the form of a compassionate Goddess, the ethereal being who maintained the integrity of the celestial barrier.

Elysia couldn’t see the spectral guardian’s status screen, but she could guess the one before her was Nirvana’s wisp of will. "Greetings. Are you Nirvana?"

"I am nothing but a remaining wisp of will. So, you are the prophesied supreme entity. However, why did you suffer divine separation, leaving only less than 20% of your intact being? Your Grace, can you save Quadtria from the abyssal corrupted monsters?" Nirvana expressed her concern with a tender tone.

However, Elysia was still a bit busy observing Nirvana more closely. She could see Nirvana was a wonderful heavenly lady, the peerless Heavenly Empress, and a loving heavenly laws maker. Nirvana’s voice and presence could provide solace even though it was only a wisp of will.

Nirvana also possessed an ethereal, beautiful visage, graceful spiritual constitution, and inexplicable divine aura. It was no wonder He-Dao was so devastated because of Nirvana’s sacrifice. He never considered hundreds of heavenly-tier beauties by his side.

Elysia immediately came out of her train of thought to respond politely. "Please pardon me. My origin is still incomplete, and I have not recovered to my prime. This is not the first time for us to face the corrupted creatures. The ones we faced before were probably worse than the corrupted monsters currently sealed in the Nirvana Realm."

"Hum-mm, then I feel relieved. I won’t be able to last long before the seal will collapse. I will leave the future of Quadtria and everything to you, Your Grace. Please look after him for me." Nirvana extended her hand forward, transferring her authority and remaining divine power to the supreme saviour.

However, Elysia grabbed the power transfer and returned it to the high-handed spectral guardian. "Now is not the time, but why are you rushing to hasten the Nirvana Seal to collapse? At least, give me five months. Everyone is not ready. We won’t be able to reduce the casualties."

Nirvana held her forehead. She was shocked because the Supreme Goddess would throw back her divine power transfer.

Her existence would perish once her time was up, so it would be best to transfer her remaining divine power and authority to the supreme entity who would save everything.

Nirvana stated her reason, but Elysia became a bit angry. Elysia ended up scolding Nirvana before conveying her plan. Everyone would need at least four to five months of preparation.

"I don’t really care if you want to go to your eternal rest, but at least wait for another five months, remember! Don’t disappear before then. Can you do it?" Elysia emphasized her request as if she wanted to avoid hearing rejection.

It might sound cold, but Nirvana was so selfish to throw away the responsibility to someone else just like that. Elysia blamed her previous self for assuming Nirvana was selfless.

"O-okay... I can only last eight months at most. After that, the cracks will start to appear." Nirvana sat in a seiza position, helpless to receive Goddess Ely’s overbearing attitude.

"Alright. We already have a plan to help the Heavens and everyone regarding those corrupted monsters. So, don’t try to mess up the schedule, or it will be the same as us not helping anyone." Elysia sighed, feeling a bit wrong to scold the wisp of will, but she had to do so.

She then asked permission to observe the corrupted Nirvana Realm, which Nirvana approved.
