Chapter 391: Thrown into the Calamity Beast Army

Fortuna and Nell went with Dory’s team on a mission to capture several calamity beasts. Those apocalypse-level super monsters were too dangerous for Earth and humanity.

Gaia strongly encouraged the plan, and Elysia wished to capture those monsters to enrich the Helven Realm calamity beast’s army.

"Their existence disrupts our master’s plan. If they won’t listen to me, then I will give the first warning. If I cannot overcome the battle, I will rely on you to discipline them in the Helven Realm." Dory patted the three little dragons.

"Now that’s a good plan. If I needed to fight underwater, it would be very troublesome." Lixue completely agreed with the plan. As an ice dragon, he would only freeze the sea, and that could be detrimental to him.

Fortuna borrowed the Helven Realm’s authority through the Elysium Channel and opened the realm portal. Gio, Cherub, and Lixue entered Helven Realm. Noir soon joined the dragon gang in the disciplinary team along with several other high-rank calamity beasts.

However, Fortuna brought out the little primordial sea serpent from the disciplinary team. "Leviathan, you will come with us for this mission. Everyone, please wait for further instructions. If any arrogant calamity beasts enter the Helven Realm, we will be relying on you to discipline your new juniors. We’ll also bring tons of fresh seafood soon~ "

"O-oh! It’s hunting time. I will transport many food stocks to our seas and lands, comrades." Leviathan was eager for action.

His fellow brothers and sisters cheered for him in the roar of wild beasts, and he felt happy to be selected for this mission.

"Your fighting skills aren’t that impressive. Just throw those insolent fools who disrupt our master’s plans here. We’ll beat them up into obedient monsters. Also, bring some more scallops and clams." Muckga wriggled out of the portal to remind his friend.

"Yeah, that’s easy. Then, I’ll leave the menial tasks to you." Leviathan bid his farewell and pushed back the volcanic worm back to Helven Realm.

After Fortuna closed the realm portal, she asked Leviathan to transform into his original form as the massive sea serpent.

The small harmless serpent soon transformed into a gigantic, terrifying calamity monster that could rule over the sea just by his presence. The surrounding marine life was scared to death and immediately fled to save their lives.

Leviathan’s eyes glowed red with the dreadful gaze of an apex predator, but he soon lowered his head to the Goddesses and pink mermaid before him.

"Then, let’s hunt them. Who is our first target?" Nell opened the list and showed it to everyone.

"The most dangerous one. We need to start from the highest one, the nine-headed sea serpent, Hydragon." Dory pointed to the one at the top of the list.

The Goddesses might not be able to be on her side to assist her all the time in this mission. Therefore, she had to ensure the most dangerous ones were addressed first.

"The SSS-level calamity beast that has almost reached godhood. Hydragon, the super dangerous monster that was sealed by Heaven from the 2nd Earth civilization. Fortuna, won’t this one go berserk to fight against heaven?" Nell blinked her eyes in surprise.

"It doesn’t matter. If he doesn’t deserve to join our monster army, then this dragon can become some good armor and sword. His meat is definitely tough, but it’s still high-level meat." Fortuna responded indifferently.

"Uhm, can we go now?" Dory swam up onto Leviathan’s head and held his fins.

After that, Fortuna opened the approximate coordinates of Hydragon’s whereabouts before using Elysium’s teleport feature to the target location.

Dory, Leviathan, Nell, and Fortuna vanished from the sea and emerged in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean which was dark, cold, and eerie.

Sunlight couldn’t penetrate the depths of the ocean, and the light intensity was so low. Mutated fish and sea monsters were milling around, but they immediately swam away as if their lives were in danger when the massive sea serpent entered their sight.

"Anti-pressure shield." Nell used her blessing magic to protect everyone from the tremendous water pressure.

"..." Leviathan continued to swim deeper into the dark water like a nimble snake, but he then gave a signal code telepathically to everyone after entering the mysterious underwater glacier region. He could sense the super dangerous monster had noticed their arrival.

*Gurgle* *Gurgle*

A strange noise echoed from the surrounding area, and it put Dory on maximum alert, prompting Leviathan to be cautious of surprise attacks.

"It’s been eons, but I didn’t expect you to still be alive, Sea Serpent Leviathan. Have you also escaped the seal?"

Several pairs of eerie yellow predatory eyes emerged from behind the dark. Several giant serpent heads came out of their hiding holes, approaching the massive sea serpent.

"Calm down. You got the wrong person. I’m not part of Heaven. Heaven has fallen, and I’m one of Elysium’s members with Supreme Goddess Ely as my master." Fortuna couldn’t even remember whether she ever offended this sea monster, but she wasn’t even born when the 2nd Earth civilization perished!

"What? Then why do you have that despicable earthly heavenly aura? What is your divine title? Where are the hateful God King Ileus and Earth Goddess Gaia? I am the one who must kill them!" Hydragon groaned in fury.

From the fathomless depths of the ocean emerged a monstrous nine-headed sea serpent in full form. His colossal body rose from the churning waters like a nightmare-given life. Each of his heads snaked out from the abyss, crowned with razor-sharp fangs and eyes that gleamed with primal hunger.

Hydragon came out from his lair, glaring at the blonde-haired Goddess.

"I am the divine owl, the Goddess of Fate and Fortune. Are you aware the current Earth is facing a massive disaster? The otherworld merged with Earth and the otherworld’s monsters invaded Earth, including Heaven." Fortuna shook her head with a sigh.

She finally understood why Gaia didn’t want to take part in this mission and was so eager to throw the Hydragon into Helven Realm’s monster army.

"Heaven has fallen? Hahaha! Serve them right! However, this isn’t right. Has civilization changed long ago? How long has it been since I was sealed? I’ll take a look." Hydragon laughed happily, but he felt that everything was wrong, including the world he lived in.

"We are already near the end of the third civilization. It is almost the fourth civilization’s arrival. Lord Hydragon, our master wants you to join her calamity beast army. We’ll give you a new home in our new world. Earth is no longer suitable for you." Dory voiced out her intentions frankly and calmly.

"Huh? Are you ordering me, little mermaid?" Hydragon growled. He flicked his tail and created an underwater whip wave as a warning attack.

As the violent underwater waves approached, Leviathan immediately provided countermeasures. The waters around him churned and roiled with violent intensity, whipped into a frenzy by the sheer magnitude. Waves crashed against his serpentine form, but they vanished upon contact with his scales.

"We want to recruit you. Do you have a deep hatred for Heaven? We can bridge you to become a divine beast, but the current Earth only limits you. Come with us." Dory gracefully extended her hand, inviting the great monster with her magical voice.

She felt a little scared, but she had to be confident in her voice magic. Moreover, they were underwater, and the other party had nine heads. Therefore, her magic effectiveness would be multiplied significantly.

"Oh? This is really unusual. Mermaids and sirens are usually spineless, timid, and full of cowards. What makes your tone so brave, little one?" Hydragon felt a lot calmer, and the pink mermaid managed to gain his interest. Thus, he decided to play along.

"Hehe, it’s all thanks to my master. She is the extraordinary Benevolent Goddess of Magic. Even the God King and Earth Goddess have to bow and behave politely before her."

"Bring me to your Goddess Master right now. I want to see what kind of entity that can make even the God King and Earth Goddess kneel."

"Can I assume you are willing to join us?"

Dory was happy her voice magic could influence the calamity beast effectively. She managed to gain Hydragon’s interest. Regardless, they could recruit Hydragon without having to fight.

It was a brilliant idea to raise the issue of power that could challenge Heaven. Elysum’s position as a third-party group not affiliated with Heaven was helpful.

"Welcome to our calamity beast army." Fortuna opened the realm portal and threw Hydragon into the Helven Realm, the sea near the coast.

She then waved her hand from the realm portal, sending a notification to all residents of Helven Realm. "Everyone! We have a new recruit who wants to get to know the members of our calamity beast army. Please enlighten him and take good care of him!"

"Uh-huh, what?" Hydragon was flabbergasted because the scenery suddenly changed from the cold, dark deep sea to a bright other world.

*Splash*

His massive body fell into the blue ocean, causing massive tsunami-class waves.

However, a massive water whale soon emerged from the depths and smacked Hydragon’s back with his fish tail. "How dare you fall on top of me, newbie!"

A massive earth dragon, black dragon, magma fat lizard, ice dragon, blue tiger, kraken, volcanic worm, and many other calamity beasts soon approached from various directions, surrounding the confused Hydragon.

"Err..." Hydragon was feeling cornered. Dozens of calamity beasts surrounded him and there were several divine beasts. He finally understood how strong the calamity beast army in question was.
