My Goddess is Good at Pretending

Chapter 405: Excluded from the List

Chapter 405: Excluded from the List

"Gaia, do you recognize this Svetomir Godzuik?" Elena nudged Gaia’s arm.

"Svetomir... He was probably Freyr from the Nordt Region. He was a lone wolf, the Wolf God of Storms." Gaia crossed her arms and tapped her cheek, trying to remember something from the distant past.

She felt not too sure because there were many Gods and Deities who possessed the divine power of storm and weather, but she came out with a conclusive answer based on the closest variables.

"Yeah, I can see his soul is Freyr, but are you acquainted with him? He is pretty powerful, more than Heracles." Elena double-checked it using Elysia’s Sacred Vision, and that person was indeed the Wolf God of Storms.

"No, but I met him once during his ascension. He was one of the Ancient Gods who ascended before the 2nd cataclysm occurred." Gaia shook her head as she had no more impression of this Wolf God.

"Ely, please look at this list. The 2nd strongest esper, Mister Storm, is not on the guest list. He has not yet joined the Guardian Alliance." Ella showed the guest list to Elysia.

"Mm, you’re right... did he refuse our invitation?" Elysia leaned her cheek against her hand, glancing at Gaia for an answer.

"Err... you only want to invite influential people who have the potential to change the world for the initial invitation. An unruly lone wolf is excluded from the list. Blame his higher-ups for not inviting him. He is part of the Siberian Annihilation Squad." Gaia pressed her fingers together, turning her head the other way.

"Hum~ He can join the alliance in the next batch then. Let’s leave." Elysia nodded in understanding while looking at the city area in the northwestern mainland.

She would meet Linda. It might take a while for them to meet again in the future because her family would leave Earth soon. Xentia’s super AI on Cube Island would be responsible for handling her lines of communication with her chosen heroes as if Young Master El was still there.

After Quadtria’s Divine World affairs were resolved, she would try to reveal some hints to Linda regarding her true identity. She didn’t know whether Linda could accept it or not, but she wished Linda could get true happiness, whether it was with her or not.

As for the current matters, her chosen heroes would need time to develop before taking on a truly important role.

The space battleship then left the South China Sea and flew towards Beijing, China.

On the other side, Svetomir felt extremely annoyed after receiving information regarding the invitation sent by the Guardian of Dream. His higher-ups were invited, and many other influential figures were there to attend the initial invitation.

However, he had no idea about it until just now. The worst thing was nobody invited him even though each leader had a quota of two people to go with them to Cube Island!

"Is this information authentic?" Svetomir asked his intel, giving a complicated look as he stared at the monster’s heart and core that he had just gouged out.

The higher-ups begged him to come here even though he was still exhausted, and they asked him to secure this monster’s core and heart for the benefit of humanity.

Even though he wasn’t so sure, he still did the job done. However, based on the information he had just received, the overall situation was not as beautiful as it sounded. The higher-ups plan to sell these precious materials to the Guardian Alliance to buy some super good limited items behind him!

"Yes, my lord. Supreme leaders around the world are competing to secure El-Coins for the limited items in the alliance shop." The masked secret intel bowed respectfully.

"Alright. Thank you for your heads up. You may leave." Svetomir clenched his fist, asking his intel to leave before he lost himself due to anger.

The intel could sense his lord’s wrath. His information might bring a gap between his lord and the Siberian Annihilation Squad, but he didn’t care because it was the higher-ups’ fault for playing secret. He saluted then vanished like a passing wind.

*Bam!*

Svetomir slammed his sheathed sword into the ground, causing a mini earthquake. He immediately dialed the higher-ups through his headgear.

"What’s up, Svetomir? Did you manage to secure those things?"

"..." Svetomir felt extremely irritated by hearing this kind of commanding tone. Nobody could order him around, but everything he did was for humanity’s sake. Those higher-ups were shitty, but he still needed them to protect the parents of his new body. Regardless, that didn’t mean they could scam him and play behind his back!

"Zoran Pivovarsky! I give you one minute to explain yourself regarding the Guardian Alliance." Svetomir growled with annoyance, feeling the sense of trust fading slowly.

"So, the information has reached your ears, huh. We were afraid that your temper would flare up at that high-level meeting. Do you think those Godly warriors will pardon your rudeness?"

"That’s just an excuse. I know when and where I should behave. You should have told me something as important as this. It’s the Guardian of Dream, Zoran bastard! Do you remember that I wanted to meet them? And yet! You excluded me from this important event!?"

Svetomir and his superior argued on the phone for several minutes.

The surrounding espers and soldiers immediately distanced themselves because they felt intimidated by the suffocating aura emitted by the 2nd strongest esper.

If Heracles was the strongest human, then Svetomir was a living nuclear that could explode anytime and anywhere. The difference between the 3rd and 2nd strongest esper was large, but Svetomir was relatively dangerous due to his wild temper and unruly nature.

"Calm down. Guardian Alliance always opens its doors for future promising alliance members. We will visit Cube Island again in three days. You can come with us."

"Oh, so it’s like the guild and parties. I will register as my own team for this. I shall take my own rewards. Bye."

Svetomir rudely hung up the call after feeling somewhat calm. He got some information related to the Guardian Alliance, and he had to register himself as a new party member.

He immediately called his intel again for something, and he got the information he wanted a few seconds later.

"Hmm, so one of the Guardian of Dream’s leaders will meet his lover, the Golden Diva, at Beijing Airport. Young Master El... I have to meet him. If he can’t open the path, I might need to storm my way to the Cube Island directly." Svetomir smirked.

It was easy to tell the Guardian of Dream was a group where the powerful Fallen Gods gathered. Therefore, he had to join this circle for maximum benefits. It would be nice to affiliate with people at his level.

Svetomir secured his loot and then shot into the sky like a Superman. His destination was Beijing.

---

As Erina’s private superjet touched down on the tarmac of the bustling airport, anticipation rippled through the crowd gathered at the terminal gates. Cameras flashed and voices clamored eagerly as fans and journalists alike jostled for a glimpse of the famous superstar who was about to emerge.

The Golden Diva, the 3rd richest person on Earth, and the 9th strongest esper in the world. Minamoto Erina, a femme fatale who was known for her beautiful voice and appearance. It wasn’t an exaggeration to be known as the most beautiful woman, but the danger that came with her was also tremendous because no man dared to approach her, let alone touch her.

Even though she was no longer active in the music world, Erina remained an idol for many people, an irreplaceable superstar. However, a boom in news related to Erina’s boyfriend made the media and fans go crazy.

The air crackled with anticipation as word spread of the superstar’s imminent arrival. Fans had been eagerly awaiting this moment, and their excitement reached a fever pitch as the time drew near.

Airport personnel and military forces hurried to prepare for the VIP arrival, ensuring everything was in place for the superstar’s smooth transition from plane to terminal. Security guards stood at the ready, prepared to maintain order amidst the eager onlookers.

With a sleek roar, the superstar’s private jet taxied to a stop on the runway, its gleaming exterior reflecting the brilliant sunlight. A hush fell over the crowd as the door to the aircraft slowly opened, revealing the figure of the superstar within.

A deafening roar erupted from the assembled fans as the superstar emerged from the plane, their presence electrifying the atmosphere with an aura of star power. Cameras flashed and fans cheered, their voices blending into a cacophony of adoration and excitement.

"Why did they leak my arrival to the public?" Erina mumbled under her breath. She went down slowly, assisted by Mio.

She no longer sat in her wheelchair because she could walk. Her bandages had been removed, but she was still afraid to fall due to her previous mortal injuries. Elysia didn’t want to heal her instantly because she had to learn her lesson, and she learned her mistake.

’Ellie, where are you? We have arrived at Beijing Airport. I also brought some gifts with me, like a car and many more.’ Erina contacted Elysia via direct telepathy.

’We’re in the outside parking lot, Erina. Uh, well... a lot of people are making noise there. Pack everything into your storage pouch. I’ll come over to you right away.’ Elysia came out of the space bus, scratching her head when she saw the commotion around Erina’s super private jet.

’Alright.’ Erina gestured to Mio to take her to the superjet’s trunk.

They got into the trunk and closed the back door. Erina put the car in her storage pouch and many other gifts that she wanted to give to Elysia and her new sisters.

After that, she left with Mio, entering the terminal.

As the minutes ticked and the anticipation mounted, Erina felt her heart race with excitement. She scanned her surroundings anxiously. Her eyes tried to search for a familiar face among the crowd.

Finally, amidst the sea of faces, she spotted her Goddess in Young Master El’s disguise, emerging from the entrance gate. Their eyes locked in a moment of pure joy and recognition. Time seemed to stand still as they moved towards each other.

As they drew closer, Erina’s steps quickened. Her heart pounding in sync with the rhythm of her footsteps. And then, she threw herself into Elysia’s arms. They were wrapped in each other’s embrace.

"I miss you~" Erina whispered softly.

"Nice to see you happy." Elysia was amused by Erina’s antics. She greeted Mio with a gesture, but she ignored the crowd and flashing cameras, letting the staff and soldiers do their job to escort her group of three out.

Some journalists and fans tried to ask some questions and blocked the road, but the soldiers handled the crazed people well. Elysia was under no obligation to answer. Erina did this for something, and she did not respond with anything.

As they finally made their way out of the airport, hand in hand, Elysia took Erina and Mio to the disguised space bus. They left the area, without leaving any comments to anyone.
