My Goddess is Good at Pretending

Chapter 433: Return Visit to Vrelenia

Chapter 433: Return Visit to Vrelenia

The ladies exchanged stories like merry birds. He-Dao as the only man in the group could only listen from the side in silence during the journey.

Luckily, it only lasted for an hour until Elysia closed the chit-chat to return to the primary matter.

"Have you ever traveled between planets and galaxies?" Elysia dragged He-Dao into the discussion.

"Hum, yes. I occasionally send my divine avatar on patrol. However, I don’t travel that far. Anyway, where are we now?" He-Dao looked left and right, but he could see nothing because they were traveling at the speed of light in the space tunnel under Goddess Ely’s divinity.

"I don’t know. We’ve left the galaxy and headed to the lower universe." Elysia shrugged her shoulders.

"Wait. It might be like this. Suppose, Earth is in the 1st universe layer, then Vrelenia might be in the 2nd layer. Quadtria might be in the 3rd layer. Am I right?" Lifa tried to guess it and asked for confirmation from He-Dao, the highest and oldest divinity present.

"I guess, that’s right. Quadtria is in a higher world." He-Dao scratched his head. He never visited the so-called Earth and Vrelenia, but their destination sounded like the lower plane.

"Hmm, I don’t mean to be presumptuous, but what should we call the origin of an existence like you?" Elena tried to measure He-Dao up and down.

"It’s the heavenly principle, the core of heaven. The one is similar to the world core and the world laws. Simply put, your Goddess Guardian Gaia is my kindred." He-Dao crossed his arms, trying to break it down into something easy to understand.

"O-oh~ you are a core manifestation." Elysia crossed her arms and nodded in understanding.

It was no wonder He-Dao didn’t dare to travel with his true body. However, she then remembered Gaia’s situation. As the core manifestation, then he would have similar concerns regarding the abundant living resources.

Elysia looked at Elena, wondering about whether they were doing the right thing. The Heavenly Agents might want to devour He-Dao because they drool over him as a core manifestation, similar to how people hunt for the living furnace to improve one’s cultivation like what happened to the suppressed foxkin in Quadtria’s Tetra World.

’Fufu, do they look like that? We’ll just help them test He-Dao’s bottom line two more times, and that’s it. We won’t help them further than that.’ Elena was amused by Elysia’s conjecture, but she also couldn’t help it because of Gaia’s situation.

’Alright, then. It’s just a deal. They’re He-Dao’s people who serve him for eons, so they can’t be bad people.’ Elysia reassured herself.

He-Dao then shared some insight about the vast universe during the journey, but it was still a drop to the bucket because the universe was much wider than anyone could have guessed.

"Regardless of anything, you need to be aware of anything related to the outer universe. We call them the Outers." He-Dao kindly reminded Goddess Ely’s Guardians.

"Outer Gods? Hum, they are celestial existences that exist outside the laws of the universe. Their existence is very dangerous but still remains a mystery. The Ruvoid Race can be classified as the Outer, actually." Lifa agreed with that statement because she had experienced a desperate battle against the Outer Gods.

"..." He-Dao nodded in reply, but he soon remembered that Vrelenia was once invaded by the outer space monster race known as Ruvoid.

If the Ruvoid Race was classified as the Outer, then the death of hundreds of Vrelenian Gods and desperate measures to seal those monsters were to be expected.

Despite what Lifa told him before, those Ruvoids were completely eradicated by Goddess Ely, including the Ruvoid Gods. It was the reason for her previous injury. Her divinity could be considered the Outer’s nemesis!

However, Goddess Ely’s origin, the one who held the power of Supreme and the Outer’s natural nemesis divinity remained a mystery.

’Wait, they once said Goddess Ely had reincarnated several times. As the one who holds Supreme power, why could this happen? Or perhaps, something wanted to eliminate her but couldn’t actually kill her? I have to get to the bottom of this.’ He-Dao struggled with his own thoughts as he knew Goddess Ely had no memories of the past divinity.

A few moments later, Elysia felt their destination was near. She made an abrupt stop in the unknown space tunnel for fear of getting lost in the unexpected.

She closed her eyes and connected her partial awareness to her Godly System to find the exact location of her fruitful believers.

"Can you spot the exact location?" Lifa asked when Elysia looked at her.

"Mm, I can spot them. We’re in the right direction and it’s pretty close. But..." Elysia glanced to the side, at He-Dao’s group.

"What is it? Tell me the problem." He-Dao raised his eyebrow, feeling something was wrong.

"I need to ensure your safety at the lower world crossing. There might also be dimensional turbulence. Could you please seal your divine power and enter my storage pouch for a few minutes?" Elysia opened a storage pouch.

"That’s fine with us, but don’t seal the entrance." He-Dao glanced at his people for a moment before complying with Goddess Ely’s request.

"Thank you for your cooperation." Elysia appreciated He-Dao’s trust.

It was for everyone’s good, and she had to ensure nothing would go wrong. After He-Dao’s group sealed their divine power, Elysia and her Goddess sisters also partially sealed their higher-world magical power. Once everything was good, they entered the galaxy where Vrelenia was supposed to be.

---

It was the beautiful blue planet suspended in the vast expanse of space like a precious jewel. Its swirling oceans and verdant continents cast a mesmerizing spell and beautiful view. From orbit, its azure hue captivated the eye, a tantalizing blend of sapphire and turquoise that shimmered in the light of distant stars.

Upon closer inspection, it revealed a world with life and diversity. Its surface was a stretch of lush forests, towering mountains, and winding rivers that crisscross the landscape like veins of liquid silver.

From afar, the planet’s most striking feature was its breathtaking azure hue. A vibrant shade of blue that dominated the landscape and filled the sky with an ethereal glow. Wispy clouds drifted lazily across the horizon, casting shifting shadows upon the surface below and adding to the planet’s otherworldly beauty.

It was truly similar to the bigger Earth, but Vrelenia had two reddish moons in its orbit. However, one of them became the eternal crescent moon as a large hole punctured it, thanks to the previous decisive outer space battle against the Ruvoid God.

"..." Elysia looked around with some complicated feelings.

The spectacles in the surrounding sea of stars were nothing but a mess.

There were several destroyed stars and planets. Somehow, they looked like the bitten apple, crushed watermelon, split coconut, and more.

Due to the large number of asteroids and other space rocks, Vrelenia received an asteroid belt, thanks to the many small planets and stars that were destroyed as a result of the decisive outer space battle five years ago.

"The 1st fruitful servant with perfect faith on the list is there. Hmm, that’s our Sky Library, right?" Elena spoke via voice transmission, pointing to a particular floating island in the distance.

"Yes." Elysia could feel it as well. She felt a little strange when she spotted a strange murky ocean in the distance, but she didn’t bother with it for now.

"Then, what are we waiting for? Let’s go~" Lifa grabbed Elysia and Elena’s hands before teleporting to the Sky Library. She was excited to see the new Vrelenia, the world after it was freed from Ruvoid’s terror.

"Hmm..." He-Dao peeked out of the storage pouch, witnessing the supermassive destruction around Vrelenia. He then asked his people’s opinions. "That was the result when Goddess Ely carried out the purge. Do you think our world could survive if she had to use her destructive move?"

"That’s hard to say, my lord..." Yuna turned slightly pale. She couldn’t count how many small planets and stars were destroyed as a result of that battle, but she could feel the lingering reverence as if something was welcoming their arrival.

"Nirvana Abyssal Demon will be doomed for sure. But, we also need to think about the impact and after-effects. Lady Ely rarely makes her move because she knows that her power might be too dangerous. It would be scary if she accidentally destroyed the world just because of a sneeze, right?" Amy was joking, but she was serious about the impact.

"Yeah, and she’s still recovering. That’s why her servants, guardians, and followers did all the tasks for her. What would happen if she was in her prime?" He-Dao was wondering, but one thing that amazed him most was Goddess Ely remained humble and kind despite possessing power beyond anyone’s comprehension.

In the dimly lit confines of the magnificent chapel, the praying nun knelt in silent reverence. Her hands clasped tightly in prayer as she poured out her heart and soul to the Divine Goddess. Her whispered supplications echoed softly off the walls, mingling with the faint scent of incense that hung heavy in the air.

As she bowed her head in humble devotion. A sense of peace washed over her, suffusing her with a profound sense of serenity. At that moment, she felt the presence of a pure radiance of light that seemed to surpass mortal understanding emerging out of nowhere.

The nun raised her eyes. She beheld a figure bathed in a soft, ethereal golden light. A figure whose grace and beauty surpassed anything she had ever known.

Tears welled in the nun’s eyes as she gazed upon the celestial being before her, overwhelmed by the overwhelming sense of love and compassion. In that sacred moment, she knew that she was not alone. Her prayers had been heard.

"Stand up, my child." The Divine Goddess reached out her hand. Her voice echoed with serene compassion and benevolence.

With trembling hands, the nun reached out to touch the divine figure before her. Her heart overflowing with gratitude and awe.
