Chapter 464: The Grand Conference
Chapter 464: The Grand Conference
In the ethereal altitude where the Sky Library island floated among the clouds, an air of anticipation buzzed among the students who had gathered in the grand atrium.
The Sky Library, a repository of boundless knowledge and ancient wisdom, received the honor of hosting a grand meeting attended by the divine beings and the supreme leaders. They were about to witness a great event that would be etched into history.
Whispers of excitement and speculation filled the air as the students gathered. Their eyes fixed on the center of the atrium where the teleportation formation lay. The complex array of glowing runes and sigils inscribed on the marble floor pulsed with latent magical energy, casting an otherworldly glow across the hall.
As the appointed time approached, the atmosphere grew with expectation. The runes on the teleportation formation began to glow brighter. Their light intensified until it was almost blinding. A deep hum resonated through the atrium, vibrating through the very stones of the library and sending a thrill of anticipation through the gathered students.
In a dazzling flash of light, the supreme leaders materialized within the teleportation formation one after another.
The foremost leader, draped in robes of pure white embroidered with golden runes, radiated an aura of immense wisdom and power. Beside him, other leaders stood, each adorned in garments of the sovereign, representing their respective domains, all shimmering with enchantments.
The students gasped in unison. Their faces were filled with awe and admiration. The leaders’ presence was commanding, their expressions serene yet filled with an undeniable strength.
Stepping out of the teleportation circle, the supreme leaders moved with elegance. Their eyes surveyed the gathered students with a mix of pride and expectation. The foremost leader raised a hand, and a hush fell over the atrium as he prepared to speak.
"Students of the Sky Library..." Alexander’s voice resonated through the hall, clear and powerful. "Today marks a momentous occasion. Your dedication to the pursuit of knowledge, and your unyielding curiosity have brought you here. We are honored to stand before you here, to share the wisdom of the ages, and to guide you on your path to mastery."
Alexander’s words filled the students with a renewed sense of purpose and determination.
The other supreme leaders began to arrive one after another, bringing a confidant with them. Each group represented a faction and region.
Every time a grand meeting was held in the name of the World Alliance, everyone would put down any disputes regardless of racial differences, especially because the one who invited them this time was Goddess Elysia herself.
A virtual invitation popped out of nowhere before their vision, and that was what brought them here when the appointed time arrived.
Regardless, the divine group survived the outer space battle and returned safely. The news spread like a wildfire. Countless believers were grateful and celebrated for the return of their Goddesses. That occurred in the outside world right now.
"Why do you talk as if you are the leader of this alliance?" Dylan crossed his arms with a frown.
"Haha, what do you say, Devil Emperor Dylan. I wouldn’t dare to take the credit. This alliance was formed thanks to the Goddesses. But, why do I see some unease in the hearts of our fellow friends? Are you afraid of something?" Alexander responded kindly, but he squinted his eyes at the sight of several uneasy people.
As it was pointed out in a blatant question, the mentioned uneasy people tried their best to readjust their expressions, giving the impression of natural serenity.
"There are so many guilty ones in this alliance. I’m not sure we can escape their omniscient divinity. But, why are only the students here?" Arthur sighed and looked around. He couldn’t see the Goddesses or any of Sky Library’s higher-ups.
"..." Several supreme leaders remained silent, but they felt somewhat depressed because the Goddesses returned to Vrelenia.
They knew the Goddesses formed a group and appointed the newly ascended Goddess, the Goddess of Magic Elysia, as the leader.
The divine group with a unison harmony was formed. Most importantly, based on the rumors, the Goddesses could easily reveal the truth with their omniscient divinity!
The guilty ones felt depressed because it would be a lie if they said that they never considered conquering or slay the Gods. Since they possessed a god-slaying weapon, they became arrogant.
However, the situation was different because the Goddesses within the divine group always moved as a unity since Elysia took the position as the leader, despite being the youngest one!
The devastating outer space battle five years ago also put deep fear into their souls over the fact that the Goddesses could wipe out a planet with just one move. The divine group was simply too strong and dangerous, but nobody could do anything about it.
Not to mention, the racial representative saintesses were also returned, but none of the saintesses had a positive intention toward their respective origins.
If everything came to light, not even the guilty Emperor could escape the divine punishment. And then the countless believers would be furious if they knew the World Alliance’s members were once harbored the intention to harm their Goddesses.
"..." Dylan and several supreme leaders frowned, feeling something was wrong with the atmosphere.
A few seconds later, the grand door opened. From the shadows of the grand atrium, a procession of priestesses emerged. Their presence was enchanting and serene.
Each priestess was adorned in flowing robes of white and silver, glistening with intricate patterns that shimmered like starlight. Their movements were graceful, and their eyes filled with otherworldly wisdom.
The priestess was led by a gorgeous, brown-eyed brunette holy maiden.
Lucia grasped her hand on her tummy, welcoming and explaining the situation politely. "Welcome to the Sky Library, esteemed supreme leaders of the World Alliance. Ice God, Sky God, and the Elysium Goddesses await your presence in the sacred hall."
"The sacred hall, hmm? Please guide us, Holy Maiden Lucia." Ashera replied with a serene smile. She held Little Hea close to her and approached the holy maiden.
"..." Lucia felt a bit uncomfortable. She always felt she couldn’t get along with any elves. Those elves were so indecent and scantily clad on all occasions!
"Please follow us." Lucia kept her opinions only in her mind. She replied with a gentle gesture, asking the supreme leaders to follow.
Some students exchanged opinions with a bit of disappointment, and the most regretful thing was that they couldn’t witness the presence of the Goddesses.
---
The path to the sacred hall was lined with luminous crystals embedded in the walls, casting a soft, heavenly glow. As they walked, the air grew thick with a sense of sacred energy, the very atmosphere vibrating with the presence of the divine.
Once they reached the entrance to the sacred hall, the massive doors, carved from a single piece of celestial marble and inscribed with golden runes, slowly swung open.
Inside, the sacred hall was a breathtaking expanse of ethereal scenery. The high vaulted ceiling was painted with scenes of divine history. The walls were lined with towering columns of radiant crystal. At the far end of the hall stood an altar with a praying Goddess statue, bathed in a soft, divine light.
As the supreme leaders and their confidants entered, the light within the hall intensified, and a palpable sense of awe filled the room. The priestesses guided the supreme leaders to the center of the hall, then stepped back. Their heads bowed in reverence.
The saintesses entered the sacred hall from the side and stood near the altar, facing the guests.
Suddenly, the light coalesced into several distinct forms. Their forms were radiant, and their eyes were filled with celestial wisdom. Each Goddess embodied a different aspect of the divinity.
The supreme leaders were awe-struck by the Goddesses’ presence and knelt in reverence. Their hearts swelled with a mixture of humility and honor as they prepared to receive the divine guidance they had been summoned for.
"Please have a seat." Lifa beckoned to the guests to sit down.
Lifa, Rhea, and Nell sat in seats in front of the sacred altar. Dory came to take her seat in the middle of the three Goddesses.
Elysia and her Goddess sisters took their seats on the side. Her disciples, He-Dao’s group, and her family members with non-Vrelenian origins are also present around her. As for the others, they took their seats behind Dory, Lifa, Rhea, and Nell.
Everything had been discussed beforehand. Dory would take the command as a commander. Lifa, Rhea, and Nell would serve as the primary team to deal with the Polluted Sea God’s main body. Vanessa, Luna, Lynn, Yusagi, Yuuki, Sylvia, Morfina, Yae, Lyla, Evelyn, Ella, Ariel, and the monster army would join the direct confrontation against the water demon army.
The Vrelenia’s people would also help. Lifa wished to resolve this matter only by the residents of Vrelenia.
"..." The supreme leaders were still amazed by the presence of the Divine Goddesses before their sight. The entire divine group returned safely, and no one was missing.
’Everyone put a lot of effort into this~’ Elysia’s eyes sparkled with admiration. She was fond of the cool and beautiful things, and everyone did look charming.
’That’s obvious. They treated this grand meeting with great sacredness. Also, they will appear before the Goddesses. So, they have to give their best first impression.’ Elena crossed her arms and legs as she observed the guests. She noted several uneasy people in her mind as they might try to harm her family.
"..." Elysia looked at the entire situation again. This grand meeting would become like a congress, or more precisely, a one-sided discussion. It was either follow the plan or leave.
"Before we start, we wish to inform you that we shall punish the Polluted Sea God in two days. For those of you who refuse to participate or oppose this decision, please raise your hands." Dory didn’t beat around the bush. She targeted people or factions who refused to contribute to leave the discussion right away.
