Chapter 493: World Boss Raid Forces (1)
Chapter 493: World Boss Raid Forces (1)
"So, will you go on my ship?" Timus tried to confirm it one more time. He did wish to get the Goddesses in his ship, but they seemed to have other plans.
"Thank you, but we will board our own warship. On the other hand, are you sure you want to go to the eastern ocean on your own?" Rhea politely refused.
"Yeah. I have an appointment with those two..." Timus recalled about his appointment with his two friends, Sorush and Aether. He then raised his flipper, teleporting everyone in his surroundings out of his Tempest Private Realm.
*Zap*
The realm portal engulfed everyone and the scenery suddenly changed to the magic academy’s area in the holy capital city. The magic academy’s group felt a bit dizzy because it was their first time leaving the private realm with an instant teleportation method, directly from the realm master.
Even so, most of the professors and instructors were still fixated on their lingering shock. The esteemed superintendent and the realm master wasn’t a person, but a pinniped also known as a seal.
"We’ll await you in the eastern ocean." Elysia waved her hand.
"Please board the warship." Xentia summoned a super-class spaceship mid-air, inviting everyone to enter.
"Holy..." Timus was flabbergasted. Elysium Group’s warship was so cool and menacing. It was as if they wished to reach the outer space with that machine.
If he had to compare it with his flying ship, then it was like an ancient pirate ship in front of the super advanced, futuristic battleship.
"My lord, wouldn’t it be better if we went with them?" Glenn scratched his head, not knowing what the superintendent had in mind.
"..." Timus was silent for a moment. He did wish to go with the Elysium Group, but he had to visit the Sky Library because of his two friends.
He would miss the opportunity to get to know the Elysium’s new Gods and Goddesses, especially the Elysium’s leader, the Goddess of Magic Elysia. However, he couldn’t ignore his preparation from his friend’s side. The world boss raid would break out soon, and he had no other choice.
"We’ll go according to plan. The other forces are already on standby around the eastern ocean, waiting for orders from the Supreme Commander. We’ll embark as a combined force with Sky Library’s raid team." Timus flew towards the air dock.
"What, what in the world..." Milena, as the current student council president, couldn’t help but gulp her saliva nervously.
She obediently boarded the nearby instructor’s flying magic item, but she couldn’t take her eyes off the floating warship above.
It was a natural thing to find Ely in that group, considering several saintesses and priestesses were also there. However, there were several divine-like presences, and the most striking one was the bright golden-haired lady.
"Is she a God?" Milena accidentally voiced her mind out.
"They are." Glenn nodded and sent a signal to the academy’s elders.
Rosie took Rosa flying out of the Holy Church, soared into the sky, and landed on Xentia’s spaceship.
Elysia waved her hand once again to Timus’ group before the hatch closed tightly. The spaceship waited for nothing more and shot into the eastern sky at super impressive speed.
"We’re going to join the raid team to subjugate the world-class threat, the Polluted Sea God. The world united for this operation. Students, you are chosen as the promising talents to gain experience and broaden your horizons, witnessing the true godly battlefield. To ensure your safety, please obey your superior’s command." Timus reminded the promising students firmly, but he also aimed it at the elders.
"Understood." The professors and instructors saluted in reply. The students also responded positively.
In a war, especially on a large, high-level scale, their existence would be miniscule. So, the soldiers had to obey their superior’s command, according to the military law.
Once everyone boarded the flying ship, Timus ordered his crew, and the ship sailed into the midnight sky at high speed with double acceleration magic.
Their destination was the Sky Library which headed towards the eastern ocean as well.
---
At the stroke of midnight, the world stirred with an unprecedented mobilization. Throughout various factions, kingdoms, and organizations across the continents, the call to arms had been issued. Forces that had long been dormant or engaged in regional conflicts now redirected their focus to a singular, formidable adversary. The world-class threat, the Polluted Sea God in the eastern ocean of the Aquatic Continent.
The kingdoms of the Human Continent were known for their mighty knights and mages. The human joint forces dispatched a grand fleet of flying warships, each adorned with shimmering banners and protective enchantments. Their flagship, the Holiness, led the charge, crewed by elite warriors and archmages, and escorted by many advanced flying golems.
The Great Empire of the Devil Continent was renowned for its technological prowess, Dylan’s fleet consisted of advanced warships equipped with arcane cannons, capable of bringing the world destruction. Their flagship, the Blood Devil, was a marvel of engineering, bristling with weaponry and defensive barriers.
The forest cities of the Beast Continent, a coalition of beast clans. They contributed a diverse array of ships from sleek, agile skimmers to heavily armored dreadnoughts. Their flagships, the Silver Hawk and the Fire Lion were famed for their widespread firepower, manned by the best pilots and sharpshooters.
The representative great leaders of the three different races met at a meeting point in the sky. They guarded the west and south borders of the Aquatic Continent.
As for the north and east border for the total encircling formation, the responsible forces had yet to arrive. The elves, fairies, beastkins, and dwarves were nowhere to be found.
*Swoosh!*
Dylan flew down from the sky, landing on a small floating boat where the meeting between the leaders of the three races was taking place.
"!!!" The other leaders were alarmed, ready to attack. They thought it was an ambush, but the newly arrived man was none other than the Devil Emperor Dylan, the supreme ruler of the Devil Continent.
"My Lord!" The Devil Kings knelt down, welcoming the strongest devil’s arrival with respect.
"Rise. Tell me the latest information regarding the Aquatic Continent." Dylan extended his hand to his subordinates.
The Devil Kings shared their latest information with their lord in turn. Sophia as Dylan’s wife behaved accordingly because she was there as one of the Devil Kings, not a housewife.
They reported that the situation on the Aquatic Continent was completely under the Polluted Sea God’s control. The aquatic creatures were either become the zombified monsters or the mindless, soulless killing machines who knew nothing but devour and destroy.
The entire eastern ocean and its surroundings, covering ??more than 150 million square kilometers, were affected by Polluted Sea God’s severe water pollution. The water was a dark purple in color, almost black, untouched by light.
Based on the latest scan report, more than two thousand Polluted Sea God’s minions had gathered around the Aquatic Continent, and 300 spots possessed aura above Emperor-level. Over a hundred thousand zombified sea monsters were on standby around the polluted seas, and countless sea monsters were heading to the siege location at the mysterious underwater call.
"They already know that we will slay the Polluted Sea God." Sophia gave the detailed report documents to her husband.
"That’s what we expected, but it won’t change the plan. The Polluted Sea God’s true body is clearly in the innermost yet safest place on the Aquatic Continent. She has nowhere to escape today’s purge." Dylan averted his gaze as he stared at the distant sea. The Goddesses had to find the Polluted Sea God first.
"That is the current situation. Once we lower our altitude, countless sea monsters will attack. The other forces are still on their way here. How is the situation on your side? I heard that you followed the Elysium Group to accompany your daughter. May I inquire about their current whereabouts?" Alexander looked around, but he couldn’t see the Elysium Goddesses or their advanced spaceship anywhere.
"They are preparing something else at the moment. But, they are already here." Dylan pointed up.
"..." The other leaders looked up. Unfortunately, they couldn’t see anything other than the night clouds.
"The sun will rise in about two hours. Will the other forces be late?" Arthur checked the surrounding horizons.
"Some things are going on on their side." Fire Lion Emperor sighed and put down his telecommunication device.
"Alright. Then we should return to our respective fleets. Once everyone has gathered to surround this severely polluted sea, Supreme Commander Dory will come down to lead the raid under the grace of the Elysium Goddesses." Dylan looked at the other leaders and turned around, leading the Devil Kings to leave the meeting boat.
The Human Emperors and Beast Emperors also nodded and returned to their respective fleets. Two hours could be considered a short time, but the countdown for the world boss raid felt thrilling every second.
The sunrise would signal the start of the battle to end the world-class scourge they had long put aside for various reasons. The Elysium Goddesses returned to their world to lead the World Association to resolve the roots of the problem once and for all.
