My Goddess is Good at Pretending

Chapter 534: Stars and Constellations

Chapter 534: Stars and Constellations

Miko wore her usual shrine priestess robe, and she came with the identity of the shrine priestess affiliated with the Heavenly Palace. However, the Mystic Stellar’s sect leader mistook her for the Sacred Sakura Goddess.

Accompanying her was a group of six heavenly servants, each as beautiful and graceful as the celestial maiden they served. Their attire, though simpler than the saintess’, was equally elegant, made of soft, shimmering fabrics in pastel shades and adorned with delicate celestial motifs.

As Miko and her entourage glided through the sacred ground, a ripple of awe spread through the gathered crowd. Devotees, scholars, and guardians of the sacred site paused in their duties. Their gazes were drawn to the ethereal procession. Whispers of admiration filled the air, reverent murmurs acknowledging the honor of her visit. Miko, ever gracious, offered gentle a smile and nod, bringing a sense of peace and divine blessing.

Miko’s destination was the grand hall at the heart of the Mystic Stellar Sacred Ground, guided by Mystic Stellar Saintess, Mytia. The grand hall itself was a marvel of celestial architecture with arched ceilings painted with stars and constellations, and its walls adorned with murals depicting scenes of divine harmony.

"..." Miko was silent for a moment as it was the first time she visited the Mystic Stellar’s grand hall. The last time her mama visited this place was through Megami, but they only went to Mytia’s chamber to help the sect master recover.

"Is the situation on your side alright, Mytia?" Miko looked around after the sect master, Mytia’s father, sent the elders and other higher-ups away.

"Mm, everything is under control. After my father fully recovered two weeks ago, nobody dared to mess with us anymore. Both internal and external affairs have been resolved. Everything is thanks to your help. If it weren’t for your help, we might still be suppressed by others." Mytia grasped her hand on her tummy, bowing slightly to express her gratitude.

"It’s not worth mentioning. You now use your true name, no longer Mytic. Are you no longer worried? Let me hold your hand." Miko extended her hand.

"It’s all right now." Mytia put her hand on her savior’s palm without hesitation.

"You’re doing well, and your state is perfectly balanced. I guess, you’ll be fine." Miko nodded in understanding and let go of Mytia’s hand. She then turned around and joined the girls to look at the stars and constellations painted all over the side of the grand hall.

"What are these stars?" Erina observed the stars on the walls, ceiling, and floor more closely. Unfortunately, she couldn’t use her knowledge about Earth’s stars and constellations for this.

"This grand hall is also called the Hall of Fame or the Stellar Chamber. We hold the divine power after the exchange with stars and constellations. Above all else, we’re blessed by the Mystic Stellar, the highest-rank divine star in this realm." Magnus raised his finger up, pointing at the brightest and biggest star in the middle of the ceiling.

"So, this grand hall is the sacred place. Why do we hold our meeting here, witnessed by the stars, and constellations?" Morfina felt they didn’t need to come to this grand hall, but the host guided them here for a reason she couldn’t understand.

"Uh, stars?" Miko widened her eyes in surprise as she realized something crucial.

She reminded the girls about it, and everyone was shocked upon realization. Her mama along with four Goddesses and twelve Heavenly Agents were currently hunting a supermassive star in the Divine World’s outer space.

The main group would bring home the finest star in the Divine World’s outer space, but if the Mystic Stellar was unlucky enough to be chosen, the Mystic Stellar Sacred Ground would lose the star they worshiped!

"Isn’t that bad?" Yae thought about it and tried to reach Elysia via Elysium Group Chat.

"No, it’s actually okay. Our master is aware of everything on our side, especially because Miko is with us. Our master’s actions are still according to her plan, and it won’t affect anything." Yuuki reminded everyone.

"Hum! Our master’s plan is already set in motion. We just need to follow it." Vanessa crossed her arms and nodded in agreement.

"So, why did you bring us here? We have nothing to do with these stars and constellations." Morfina frowned as she knew Mytia and Magnus had something else in their mind.

"Hehe, it would be a lie if I said we didn’t have other intentions, but we meant no harm. The stars wished to meet you, including the revered Mystic Stellar, Sacred Sakura Goddess." Mytia held her arm with a troubled smile.

"Mm, I can understand. But, my true body is currently in the Divine World’s outer space. They can greet me directly, and maybe, they can also provide some guidance for our hunt. It would be problematic if we accidentally took down the affiliated stars." Miko looked up and smiled innocently at the stars.

"!!!" The observing stars were shocked. They were observing the supposedly Sacred Sakura Goddess, but it was apparently not her true body.

Since the word had been spoken, they twinkled once to bid their farewell and cut off connection with the grand hall.

Miko checked her surroundings with her sacred vision. She then returned to Mytia. "Now it should be fine. They are no longer watching us. Mytia, may I know with the task on your side?"

"???" Magnus was speechless. He fulfilled the stars with their desire to meet the Sacred Sakura Goddess, but they suddenly left. But, remembering what the Sacred Sakura Goddess had just said, the her before him was actually her clone. No wonder she looked a bit younger.

"The merchants and the traders have gathered at the Libra Tower to respond to your trade in their respective trading chambers," Mytia responded respectfully. She volunteered to carry out this task, and she got it done perfectly.

"Tell them to gather at the auction hall. If they have the listed items, we shall buy everything. The Heavenly Palace will cover the price, and they better not try to scam us~" Miko showed the sparkling white-gold card.

"..." The heavenly servants held their breath. The truth was astonishing because it was actually the Lord of Heaven’s card. With just that card, someone could even buy the sacred ground and its entire realm with ease!

Mytia informed her people via talisman. She then braced herself to offer, but she remained polite so as not to cross the line. "Understood. I’ve already notified them. May I know if we could have the honor of hosting you at our residence, my lady?"

Miko remained silent and looked at the girls. It was almost noon, and the lunchtime was around the corner. Considering it was free food, then they had no reason to refuse. The only problem was Mytia. This Mystic Stellar Saintess somehow became too stiff and nervous, unlike the Mytia in their first encounter.

"Alright. We will be under your care, Mytia. We’d be grateful if you weren’t so nervous. That’s not like you." Miko went to Mytia’s side and patted the nervous girl’s back.

"It’s our greatest honor, my lady!" Mytia burst into joy. She then guided everyone to her private quarter to host her guests with the greatest service.

---

"Hm~" Elysia noticed Miko and Megami experiencing their respective part of the event.

Megami’s group had to visit several sites in different territories in the name of business, but the landlord knew nothing about the true aim.

As for Miko’s side, Mytia gathered quite a deal from many parties. They would buy several things from the chosen merchants. He-Dao didn’t have everything in his possession, but his previous claim to provide everything the Elysium Family needed was still valid, thus he sponsored Miko for this trade, letting them buy everything they needed.

"You look happy, my lady?" Amy was curious about what Elysia would find in this vast starry sky domain.

"Entertained is the right word. They also greet and try to guide us for our cause." Elysia pointed to the surrounding stars. Miko blatantly announced her intentions to the stars and constellations in Mystic Stellar’s sacred hall, and these stars alternately tried to make contact with her as a result.

"Even the stars are alive. What should we do, then?" Elena felt a bit complicated if they had to slay a living star when they were so nice.

"Shall we ask them out? We have an oracle of our own, but we don’t know its exact location. What about that one? It keeps trying to draw our attention even though it’s so far away." Lifa pointed to the brightest star in the distance.

"Hmm, that one is indeed an extraordinary star." Elysia observed the brightest star in the distance. Honestly, she still couldn’t understand their aim, but these stars were indeed alive and possessed high intelligence.

"Hm, the distance is pretty far, but this is a visible straight path. Let’s do the spatial jump to warp to its location." Elena took Elysia and Ai’s hands. She also brought the Heavenly Agents with her.

*Zap*

The space around them was distorted and they vanished from the scene. It took them a few minutes to arrive at the brightest star in this domain.

[Ashira | Mighty Star of Sothis Constellation]

[Favorability: 95%]

Elysia blinked her eyes in wonder. Her eyes did possess the ability to see the true identity of almost anyone and anything, both animate and inanimate, including this star. However, she didn’t expect to discover more than what she wanted to know.

"The Mighty Star of Sothis Constellation, I wonder what you wish to say to us." Elysia greeted the star in a friendly manner.
