Chapter 546: Conclude the Field Trip

As Elysia concluded the field trip, the girls returned to their space bus with newfound treasures, enriched experiences, and new knowledge. The land of myriad possibilities had tested their luck and skill. Still, it had also revealed the limitless potential within each of them.

Xentia’s team only engaged in a peaceful exchange. Still, her team came out with the most tremendous gain among the others. Sylvia’s team became the bloodiest team after vanquishing many people through various schemes. Erina’s team only ventured to mine some good minerals with the help of Gio and Vanessa, while the other teams, only explored the vast realm and harvested what they could find with minimal encounter with other people.

"It’s my turn next week~" Luna held Yuuki’s arm and Vanessa’s waist, whispering softly with a clear hint of enthusiasm.

"Mm..." Yuuki replied with a subtle nod.

"He he he~ I can’t wait for it. So, who will be the first in the queue?" Vanessa could feel the excitement overflowing in her heart.

Sylvia became the first one to ascend under the Heavenly Realm’s blessing, and the three of them would receive their turn next week. Their divine ascension was bound to happen, but what made them eagerly await their turn was something more worth waiting for.

Since their master already promised it, each of them could spend their private time with their master undisturbed. Their master would help them fortify their foundation and also pamper them a lot, showering them with love, care, and attention for a full day!

"To be fair, let’s roll a die. The higher number will determine the turn, but no cheating." Luna proposed her idea. Yuuki and Vanessa agreed with it.

"???" Elysia felt goosebumps somehow. She rubbed her nape and looked to the side. Luna, Yuuki, and Vanessa looked at her with a burning gaze of desire, and it somehow made her wonder. She simply smiled behind her veil and waved her hand.

Elena checked everyone’s presence one more time. Once she counted it and nobody was missing, she nodded and returned to Elysia’s side. "Everyone has returned."

"Mm, then let’s go back." Elysia looked at the distance sky.

She could sense many powerhouses were still exploring this secret realm, and the Purple Mountain people led by six 16th Rank Immortal Lords were still busy in the faraway region. They even turned the mountains upside down as those people were still looking for something.

Based on Gaia and Lifa’s predictions, the injured Immortal Lord earlier came out ahead of the others because he had to do some business, probably to put the traitorous disciple in check or something else regarding the sect’s takeover.

However, it was none of her business, and she would just let that matter unfold as it didn’t even concern her.

Elysia took another look at the faraway land with her sacred vision then entered the spacebus. However, the atmosphere suddenly became heavy, and the turmoil from the high sky quickly approached.

Everyone looked up at the other side of the sky and found a massive fearsome hybrid beast covered in poisonous energy streaking past like an unavoidable calamity. A boy and girl fled desperately as they were being chased by the ferocious immortal beast. They were clad in fancy robes typical of someone with a noble background, but tattered with many burnt marks.

"Roar!" The fearsome hybrid beast roared. It clawed the air and tore through the space to stop the little humans who challenged its authority.

"Please save us!" The injured young lady shouted out to the group near the exit portal.

"Ack!" The heavily injured young man bit his tongue, drawing blood to empower his protective shield. But, it couldn’t withstand the spatial claws.

The shield crumbled to pieces and his flying sword couldn’t maintain its balance. He and his junior sister fell to the ground helplessly. The fearsome hybrid beast hovered right above them, staring intently as if it knew they no longer had any way to escape its grasp.

"We’re already near the exit..." The injured young lady reached out her hand toward the exit portal in the distance.

She was only one kilometer away, but she no longer had any power to escape, and her senior brother’s situation was even worse than hers. She begged for help from the people near the exit portal, but she couldn’t expect them to save her since they had no obligation to save the strangers.

"Puny creatures, I shall kill you all!" The fearsome hybrid beast stared at the two dying humans below while observing the other intruders around, emitting its 17th Rank ferocious beast aura.

"Please appease your anger, sir. If they return your treasures and compensate you, can you please let them go?" Elysia stood above the fearsome hybrid beast’s back, speaking politely.

This fearsome hybrid beast was furious because two random people probably entered its lair and stole its treasures. Since the injured young lady asked for help so desperately, then she might as well mediate for the good of both parties.

"!!!" The fearsome hybrid beast flinched in shock. It sensed nothing until just now, but a mysterious veiled lady suddenly stood on its back unnoticed!

It swiftly spun, trying to pounce on the mysterious veiled lady. But, the lady already disappeared.

"You’ll die if you keep its treasures." Elysia stretched out her hand to the two injured people.

"Stupid!" The fearsome hybrid beast grinned widely as the mysterious veiled lady showed her back to the enemy. It waited nothing more and unleashed its deadly attack to kill her in one move.

Yet, the ridiculous event unfolded as its entire body was suddenly bound by heavenly ropes. The mysterious veiled lady turned around and smacked its head with a wooden stick, causing a tremendous mental impact and insane debuffs.

"My lady, it’s dangerous to charge at the furious immortal beast just like that." Sierra and the heavenly servants broke in a cold sweat. Goddess Elysia suddenly warped and stood on the calamity beast’s back to interfere in other people’s affairs.

Although it was to be expected considering the Supreme Goddess’ personality who would help those who deserved help, it still scared them so much if the lady they served received an injury.

"Fufu, thank you for your concern. But, I won’t be hurt by the beast blinded by fury. This me is just a divine manifestation of magic. The real me is still there." Elysia pointed to the exit portal.

The real her was still standing by the space bus with her family members.

"..." The heavenly servants were speechless. They were so terrified when they saw their lady emerge on the beast’s back. Unfortunately, their understanding of the lady they served was still so shallow...

"Never..." The injured young lady gritted her teeth, staring at the veiled lady with hate.

"Uh, argh... do you think this can stop me? Do you think by returning the treasures that are rightfully mine, this venerable will let you all go? Lowly intruders! I shall kill you all and paint this land with your blood!" The fearsome hybrid beast tried to break free, but the heavenly ropes were so strong.

Twenty heavenly servants maintained the heavenly ropes with their mystical techniques. Even a 17th Rank immortal beast would take several minutes to break free.

"Retrieve things that are rightfully yours and please appease your anger. They shall compensate it, so let them go." Elysia wouldn’t try to reason. She snatched the storage pouches from the injured young man and young lady, showing the contents to the bound immortal beast.

The opponent was the enraged 17th Rank immortal beast, and she would choose the peaceful solution to save the injured kids.

"Grr..." The fearsome hybrid beast tried to bite the mysterious veiled lady’s whole, but its head got smacked by the wooden stick.

It tried to attack again, but it always received a good beating and smacking on the head until its anger subsided. It winced in pain, wondering why such a mortal wound could cause tremendous damage, bypassing its defenses.

The heavenly ropes got loosened by the heavenly servants because Elysia ordered them to do so. The fearsome hybrid beast was doubtful, but it took several things from the storage pouches.

It grabbed not just its treasures, but also some items that caught its attention, treating them as compensation. If it weren’t for the traumatic fear inflicted by this mysterious veiled lady, the 17th Rank immortal beast would go on a rampage to kill everyone. Unfortunately, the world was indeed cruel. Even an 11th Rank Goddess could bully a 17th Rank immortal beast.

"You’ve retrieved things that are rightfully yours. So, leave the kids, alright?" Elysia returned the storage pouches to the injured young man and young lady.

"One more offensive move, and we shall kill you." Sierra warned with a true killing intent.

"I’ll leave. Don’t ever let me see those brats again." The fearsome hybrid beast grumbled under its breath then flapped its wings, soaring high into the sky swiftly.

The heavily injured young man immediately drank his healing potion and hastily expressed his gratitude to his savior. "Thank you for your help, lady..."

"Why did you give my treasures to that beast?!" The injured young lady snapped in great dissatisfaction. Her storage pouch got snatched unnoticed, and all of her precious treasures were gone, leaving only the mediocre ones!

"Ning’er, watch your words! We would be a lump of dead meat if it weren’t for them." The heavily injured young man rebuked sternly.

He also grieved for his losses, but his life was more precious, after all. He could obtain the lost treasures and resources at the other opportunity. It was already generous because the other party was willing to help them out from the dead door.

"Whatever." The injured young lady clicked her tongue and returned to her feet. She slowly walked toward the exit portal with her wobbled legs.

"Ungrateful mongrel. My lady, please allow me to teach her a lesson." Sierra couldn’t stand the insult the girl uttered to the Supreme Goddess.

"There’s something strange about her." Elysia dematerialized her divine manifestation, retracting her magical form to her true body. She then teleported, blocking the injured young lady.

"What? Do you want to kill me and snatch the rest of my possessions?" The injured young lady frowned.

"You’re not you." Elysia squinted her gaze and slapped the girl right on the cheek.

*Slap*

"Ack!" The injured young lady fell to the ground.

"Wait, why?! Lady, I shall apologize for her rudeness, but please spare her life." The heavily injured young man gasped in surprise. He tried his best to keep his junior sister safe, but she would obviously die if their savior wished to kill her.

Elysia slapped the girl several times and pulled something out. It was a female ghost that took over the girl’s body.

"How..." The female ghost stared at the veiled lady in disbelief. She got captured, but the exit portal for her to escape this damned secret realm was already in sight.

She couldn’t exit on her own, so she had to possess someone’s body. Her plan almost worked, and she was almost out. However, her fate was damned as ever, and she would be trapped here forever, or the lady before her would destroy her instead.

Feeling desperate, she recalled about her stupidity. She almost died and lost many of her treasures, but she let herself get swallowed by frustration and anger. It was truly a dead wish because she was so rude and offensive to the powerful expert, the savior who could smack the 17th Rank immortal beast into submission.

"You wish to escape from here but are unable to do so because of a certain restriction? I’ll ignore your rudeness, but you should become a good ghost. We will show you the way." Elysia offered a deal.

The female ghost knew she had no other choice. This veiled lady was beyond mysterious and powerful. She would comply for now and went separate ways later. Unfortunately, she didn’t know what awaited her after this might be something that would truly change her life forever.

"She is possessed by an evil spirit. You should leave here immediately and hide somewhere for a while. They might target you." Elysia conveyed her words via voice transmission to the injured young man. She waited for no answer and brought her servants back to the space bus, leaving the unconscious young lady and injured young man just like that.

The young man was still too shocked, but he regained his composure right away. He bowed his head to his savior and immediately brought his junior sister to the exit portal, running away from everyone’s sight without a second thought as he knew the others might target him to seize all his treasures and interrogate him regarding the hidden land above the sky.
