Under the cover of night, Elysia and Elena embarked on an infiltration mission, slipping through the shadows toward the imposing fortress of the sealed demon city.

The castle’s structure was a massive, ominous edifice with its spires piercing the dark sky like the claws of a monstrous beast. Jagged battlements and grotesque gargoyles adorned its walls, and an eerie crimson glow emanated from the windows, casting an unsettling light over the desolate landscape.

Elysia and Elena were cloaked in enchanted garments that blended with the darkness. They knew the Demon King’s castle was a place of untold horrors that could even block the divine vision from peering inside, the lair of the great evil.

The mere thought of what lay within sent chills down their spines. Yet, their resolve was unshaken. They needed to understand why the Demon King in this sealed demon city was branded as the most malevolent being to ever walk in this world.

Once inside, the castle’s interior was a labyrinth of despair and cruelty. The walls were lined with twisted tapestries depicting scenes of unimaginable suffering, and the air was thick with the stench of decay, dried blood, and dark magic.

As they ventured deeper into the fortress, they witnessed the grotesque experiments and vile rituals conducted by the demon minions.

He sat on a throne made of bones, his eyes glowing with a malevolent fire that pierced the darkness. His presence was overwhelming, and the dark aura radiated from him filling the room with an oppressive weight.

As Elysia observed it more thoroughly, she understood the truth. The Demon King was not just a tyrant but a great evil who reveled in the suffering of others. His power was fueled by the pain and misery he inflicted, and his castle was a monument to his twisted, evil desires. However, he couldn’t venture out as he was sealed in his castle’s throne hall.

Elysia could feel the hatred and cruelty that had earned him his fearsome reputation. Every word he spoke dripped with venom, every movement exuded an authority built on fear and bloodshed. Whether it was human, half-human, demon, beast, or even monster served as his prey. He feasted upon their flesh and blood like the ferocious beast.

The horrors she had witnessed were only a fraction of the darkness that dwelled within the Demon King. With heavy hearts and grim determination, Elysia knew she had to stop this great evil before his reign of terror could engulf the world.

Yet, Elysia suddenly felt nauseous and covered her mouth, almost vomited.

’Let’s leave for now. We’ll use the heroes ah no, the Elysion Church to purge this great evil.’ Elena held Elysia’s waist and brought Elysia out of the Demon King’s castle, returning to the horse-drawn carriage outside the demon city.

"Hm? Are those some sneaky pests? They left just like that?" The Demon King looked to the side, wondering about the foreign fleeting energy he had just felt. He pondered about it for a second then no longer bothered with it.

Elena carefully helped Elysia to drink as she could see Elysia was not in the right state of mind after witnessing the horrors deep within the Demon King’s castle via sacred vision.

Ai and Zera returned to Elysia’s side after doing a quick investigation in the sealed demon city.

"The demons enslaved the other races and treated them like livestock. I’m surprised this godforsaken city hasn’t been eliminated by the so-called righteous sects." Ai heaved a subtle sigh.

She didn’t really care, but those hypocrites let the great evil go rampant, and instead, actively opposed the Elysion Church, the one which obviously came to bring light and justice to this world.

"I can see the entire demon city is condemned and sealed by a certain God. The demons above 6th Rank can never leave this city." Zera pointed to the ground, or more precisely, to the faint border around the city walls.

"You’re right..." Elena looked at it more closely, and she just noticed it. A moment ago, Elysia brought her to infiltrate the castle right away, and they failed to notice such a subtle thing.

"..." Elysia checked more in-depth information about the Demon King of Extreme Evil and the sealed demon city using her Sacred Heaven Grimoire.

The Demon King of Extreme Evil reigned over a vast border region between several realms in the center of the continent, but he was blessed with no title. He was only known as the Demon King of Extreme Evil, but that title was given by the common folks. He also had no Demon God or any other immortal powerhouse to back him up.

The all-powerful Demon King possessed power above the thirteen Demon Kings of the Demon Realm and the six Great Demon Kings of Hell.

Unfortunately, the wandering Ancient Immortal couldn’t eliminate the Demon King due to the mortal world’s restrictions. The wandering Ancient Immortal sealed the Demon King in the castle after stripping the Demon King’s power and putting restrictions upon this demon city.

After many years passed, the seal never weakened. It actually became stronger than ever along with the larger number of demons living in that city. The Demon King of Extreme Evil also regained his Deity-level demonic power. As a result, the strengthened seal also affected the other demons around the Demon King’s castle and extended to the city walls, imprisoning the demons above the 6th Rank in the city forever.

In the past four hundred years, only demon minions below the 6th Rank went rampant to secure the livestock for their demon city, and strangely enough, these evil deeds never aroused the righteous sects to take any decisive action.

’Mm, he is the mysterious and unfathomable Demon King. Even though he is a great evil, he can never go out of his castle, much less venture out of that accursed demon city. The demon minions also never go far from their territory. They do not pose any real threat outside their territory.
