Chapter 66: Angelic Princess Girlfriend?
Chapter 66: Angelic Princess Girlfriend?
"Sir, if you do not wish to order something, please leave. Otherwise, you will disturb other customers." The pretty waitress was agitated as three thug-like men continued to stand at the order table.
One of them even kept trying to tease and harass her. She wanted to scream for help, but she was too afraid.
"Keke, I just want to see you, little beauty. Hey, another customer, you don’t feel bothered because of me, right?" The thug boss held the pretty waitress’ hand, then looked at the other side.
The other customer shook his head, then quickly ran away from there. Nobody wanted to get involved in unnecessary trouble.
The thug boss then glanced at the other side. "You’re not bothered, are you?"
"Fck off. Your breath alone is air pollution." Azrael grabbed the thug boss by the collar, then threw that person out like a garbage sack.
He then kicked out the two other men before they could assault him.
"How dare you-" The thug boss pointed his finger as he tried to intimidate his opponent.
However, some stuff flew up and slapped the three thugs on the cheeks. They were knocked out and fainted in the middle of the street.
"What’s wrong with them?" Ely found it funny for a group of thugs to ask the others whether they were bothering other people or not. The answer was obvious.
"Ignore them. That kind of plebs can only learn from beatings. Waitress, the luxury lunch snack package for two people." Azrael handed over his table reservation ticket.
"Ah, oh, alright, sir." The pretty waitress accepted the ticket reflexively. Yet, her gaze was still awestruck by this fierce yet handsome gentleman.
Yet, she suddenly noticed the angelic beauty next to him. Beautiful alone was not enough to describe this young lady’s appearance. Yet, a word came out of her mouth spontaneously. "Angel..."
Azrael and Ely then went to their reserved table, facing each other. The lunch snack package was delivered to their table a few moments later.
Azrael set up a barrier to keep out peeps or any eavesdroppers.
Then, he took out an envelope and gave it to his master. "Master, everything about the person you want to meet is here. She is known as the Lightning Empress Evie, the guardian knight of Sword Maiden, Kirara."
"Hmm? Thank you for your hard work, Azra-kun. I’ll read it later. We’re not in a hurry. By the way, your energy flow is a bit chaotic. Do you need my help to stabilize it?" Ely put the envelope in her storage pouch. She was more worried about her disciple’s condition.
"It’s okay, master. I can adjust my breath, and everything will be fine." Azrael immediately did a short meditation to stabilize his inner energy.
He was too rushed and anxious to finish the previous subjugation mission quickly. It took him several seconds to stabilize his inner energy flow to reassure his master.
Ely and Azrael exchanged some information, then chatted casually like a mother visiting her children.
Usually, her disciple has double identities other than the Guardian of Dream’s members, but Azrael has more than four guises. His other identities were an adventurer, a merchant, the big boss of a company, a special agent, and an intelligence officer.
She didn’t know the details, but she knew all her disciples were multi-talented and destined to become big shots respected by countless people.
"Phew..." Azrael wiped his sweat with a handkerchief. He felt a bit nervous when his master asked about his well-being.
It was such a challenge to trick his master. He knew his master’s eyes could see the truth, and that was the reason.
He didn’t want her to know he was also known as the bloody killer, the most prominent black market owner, the big boss of the Shadow Assassin Order, and a renowned mercenary known as the dark-gold killing machine.
"Hmm-mm~" Ely knew Azrael wasn’t honest, but she felt it was natural. After all, children often hide one of two secrets from their parents.
They were fond of boasting about their achievements to get their parent’s praise and appreciation. She gave Azrael well-deserved praise, and everyone was happy.
Meanwhile, the two ladies from Azrael’s mercenary guild disguised themselves as random customers. They kept observing their leader and the angelic beauty from afar.
They didn’t know what their leader was discussing with his girlfriend, but he and his girlfriend were chatting like a pair of love birds. It was a secret date, for sure.
"Is he really our leader? He looks like someone else in front of her. Is that a love letter?" The red-haired mage grumbled while eating her snack.
"Oh gosh... He’s trying his best to look like a noble gentleman in front of his angelic princess, huh. Once they leave this cafe, I’ll bother them." The brunette knight bit the turkey thigh and chewed it roughly. She was so jealous.
"Is that wise? Our leader will be angry and punish us."
"It’s okay. He wouldn’t dare to be excessively rude before his princess. Besides, I want to know more about her. She’s our rival, but we can use her to pave our way to his heart."
"Oh, if she becomes our leader’s main wife, then you intend to get her approval first, huh?"
"No, it’s not like that. But, uh... Forget it. Just cooperate with me. This is a good opportunity for us to know more about his other side."
The two ladies then agreed to work together on their little plan.
"They’re out. Follow them!" The brunette knight rushed to stalk her leader, and her friend soon followed.
They were surprised to find their leader and the angelic princess standing near the exit as they exited the cafe.
"They are your friends, right? They’ve been following us ever since." Ely pointed at the two startled ladies.
"Ugh, what are you doing, Margaret, Rossweisse?" Azrael crossed his arms over his chest.
"Eh, ah, hahaha... We were just wondering what you were doing. Who would have thought our boss would secretly go on a date with his little girlfriend." Rossweisse laughed dryly. It was awkward because they were caught red-handed.
"Anyway, you should introduce her to us, leader! She is so beautiful, adorable, and tender... Oh gosh, my fair lady. My name is Margaret. She is my friend, Rossweisse. Master Azure is our boss. He is rude and rough, but who would have thought he would fall under a girl’s skirt one day." Margaret introduced herself candidly.
Even though they were of the same gender, she felt a pang in her heart when she looked at the angelic princess this close. The sweet angel’s charm was that dangerous and effective. No wonder the fierce and cold-hearted leader would fall before this kind of delicate maiden.
*Bam!*
Azrael hit Margaret’s head in annoyance. "Mind your words. Go and get the job done. Leave us alone."
"Ouch!" Margaret held her head.
"That’s impolite, Azra-kun. They are your employees. How can you treat them like this? Pleased to meet you. My name is Ely." Ely introduced herself politely.
"Right, right, Azra-kun!" Margaret smirked because that nickname was pretty cute. She then snatched the angelic princess from her leader, and her friend soon assisted her.
Therefore, the two ladies kidnapped the princess from the gentleman’s hand. They chatted as they walked away, leaving their leader behind.
Ely was overwhelmed because these two ladies were so cheerful and talkative.
They went shopping and various other things until noon.
It was the first time Ely had come to the capital city. They strolled like a group of tourists with no purpose other than sightseeing and buying stuff. Margaret and Rossweisse insisted on showing her around, and she couldn’t just turn them down.
"..." Azrael really wanted to throw those two women away, but he couldn’t do it out of consideration.
Therefore, he spent four harrowing hours accompanying the girls on a shopping spree. It was okay if it was for his master’s sake. But! He was treated like a mobile payment device by two shameless women.
Those shameless women bought many things and forced him to pay for everything. They wished to squeeze his wallet dry! He would make sure they would pay for his loss later.
His master only bought two traditional dresses and a set of accessories because of those pushovers. However, he happily paid for his master’s purchases.
"Hmm, thank you for showing me around Oslaka Capital City. However, I’m feeling a bit tired. Allow me to take a rest." Ely felt tired. She also couldn’t keep being dragged around by her disciple’s friends.
Margaret and Rossweisse could quickly get along with Lady Ely because the other party was too lovely, pure, and kind-hearted. They had only spent a few hours and already fallen in love with this angelic princess’ nature. Lady Ely was too good for their leader, to be honest.
Their leader might be deceiving Lady Ely because, in front of her, he has never once been as rude and cold as usual. He was the black-gold mercenary, but he was just a simple gentleman before this angelic princess!
"Mm, it’s our pleasure to accompany you. Please call me if you need anything in this city. I will gladly help you~" Rossweisse patted her breastplate and puffed out her chest.
"Fufu, thank you very much. I might trouble you then." Ely covered her mouth elegantly. She then excused herself and went to the nearby hotel.
Azrael grabbed his subordinates by the shoulders, and veins popped up on his face. "You dead meat. You truly got on my nerves. I’ll make sure you pay for it later."
"Ahaha, boss. Please calm down."
"Yes, ah, you don’t dare to tell your kind-hearted princess about ’it’, do you? Please don’t be mad. We might tell her about her good boy’s wrongdoing by accident."
Margaret and Rossweisse broke into a cold sweat.
"You want to threaten me? Can you do it? I’ll handle you later. Be prepared." Azrael grinned like a villain. But he rushed after his master into the hotel. Their punishment would be waiting for later.
At that moment, a luxurious carriage passed the city’s main street. The golden blonde-haired girl in a fancy aristocratic outfit looked out the window as she felt a spiritual call toward something.
It was just an inn for nobles in general, but she caught a glimpse of someone familiar a second ago. However, she wasn’t so sure.
"Is something wrong, Evie? You gasped in surprise and suddenly looked outside." The Sword Maiden asked worriedly.
"It’s nothing, Lady Kirara. We’ll go straight to the castle." Evie shook her head.
