Chapter 89: Dealing with Demon

Skyla was stunned by the sudden change of events. The protector elder lost against that white tiger boy’s spear, and he became his primary target.

The shock prevented her from moving in that split second, and the white tiger boy was already almost catching her.

"I’m from Sacred Sakura. We have a deal with ancient demons to save our allies." Ely whispered once again.

"Sacred Sakura Holy Land? Do you know the nine-tailed shadow fox lady? Tell me her name if you are truly from Sacred Sakura." Bai Yuchen was stunned.

He thought about the kind nine-tailed shadow fox lady. She might also enter this ancient secret realm. This dark knight was probably her senior brother.

"Kitsune." Ely answered briefly. She was relieved the young hero was listening to her.

"Alright, phew..." Bai Yuchen heaved a sigh of relief.

After looking more closely, he recognized the dark armor. There was a seven-petal flower symbol on the armor’s left chest. This dark knight demon was one of seven dark knights from Sacred Sakura’s exploration team.

"My apologies, senior. But what do you plan to do?" Bai Yuchen cleared his throat and clasped his hand to pay his respects.

He didn’t know what was happening, but he had better listen to this dark knight first. Not to mention, this dark knight was that dangerous dark sword’s wielder...

Ely activated a talisman. She then ensured they were fully covered by a soundproof barrier before speaking. "We made a deal with the ancient demons to capture our allies. We will rescue them and take them out with us. Please be obedient, and let me capture you. We don’t have time. The 10th Rank ancient demons will invade the outside world soon."

Bai Yuchen thought once more about what decision he needed to make. Despite all the risks, he thought this dark knight could beat him first and avoided this conversation.

"What’s the price of your deal with them?" Bai Yuchen was worried as he believed someone had to sacrifice something to make a deal with ancient demons.

"Lift their curse. A fair deal." Ely shrugged.

"Well..." Bai Yuchen rubbed his head. He then chose to go along with the plan.

By the time the darkness dome’s aura faded, Bai Yuchen had fallen. He was tied up like a prisoner. The cultivators captured by the ancient demons were already desperate and lost hope when their hero was defeated.

"Give me the other captured people." Ely extended her hand towards Skyla.

"We have captured 341 people." Skyla gave the storage pouch to her fiance.

"Good. Put them in with the others." Ely replied with a subtle nod.

"You, vile demon, shall meet heaven’s wrath someday!" Bai Yuchen cursed the surrounding demons.

"Shut up. If it wasn’t for my young lord wanting you to be captured alive, we would have slaughtered all of you already." Skyla kicked the captured white tiger boy.

"Ouch!" Bai Yuchen groaned in pain. It was really hurt. He was then thrown into the hostage storage pouch.

"Oww, my butt! Curse you, demon girl! I hope you will be forever a virgin!" Bai Yuchen cursed as he fell on particular hard ground, butt first.

The nightmare demons then threw all captured people into the hostage storage pouch.

Once it was done, Ely observed the current situation. There were about two dozen dead demons, ten lightly injured and one moderately injured.

One of the protector elders even had his forearm severed, and he couldn’t reattach it due to the holy spear’s debuff.

"Gerrard..." Skyla called out, but her fiance didn’t respond right away. After calling several times, she finally got an answer.

"What?" Ely looked to the side. She had almost forgotten these ancient demons treated her as Gerrard Fear, their young lord.

"Lord Martin and Madam Sarah are waiting for you at the north military base for the curse matters. They have prepared everything." Skyla crossed her arms under her breasts.

"Alright. Where did the lord ancestor go?" Ely nodded in understanding. It was time to become a doctor and collect the money.

"This... His sudden breakthrough attracted the other ancestors... He is probably boasting his accomplishments somewhere." Skyla didn’t know, but she could guess the situation because the other clan’s ancestors flew toward their clan’s territory.

"Oh." Ely approached the protector elder and took his severed forearm.

She wiped the cut area with her hand like she was dusting it off. She removed the holy spear’s anti-recovery effect, then reattached it to the protective elder’s elbow.

The protector elder’s terrifying recovery healed the wound, and his arm was as good as new. He then knelt to express his gratitude. "This, this humble one, thanks the young lord!"

"It’s not worth mentioning. Let’s go." Ely went to meet her disciples. They were already waiting for her nearby.

The nightmare demons were surprised to find a dozen knights with armor resembling their young lord, but some were different in color. They assumed those armored demons were the young lord’s elite guards.

Ely, her disciples, and her temporary minions headed to the Nightmare Clan’s north military base.

However, the other nightmare demons continued their mission to capture the other invaders. As long as their target looked tasty and possessed no evil-like malicious aura, they immediately captured those people alive for their young lord.

As for the evil invaders... their fate depended on the ancient demons’ moods.
