The ancient demon kings led their armies to clash against the demons and devils from the Demon Realm.

The humans and demi-humans of the Human Realm used that opportunity to crush the demons. Meanwhile, the beast-kin and demon-kin from Northern Realm had to clash with the terrors from the Demon Realm.

Everyone had only two choices at that moment. Retreat or fight it out, but everyone chose the latter because their morale was unusually high. The newly formed alliance pioneered by Sacred Sakura and two other holy lands was the cause of that union.

The heroes would emerge in times of crisis. A particular 3rd Rank spear master used showed off his might far above his realm to wipe out hundreds of demons.

His God-tier holy spear caused his battle power to soar so that he could kill enemies five realms above his cultivation base.

There was also a young mage who could borrow mana from heaven and earth. He exerted super-class magic and annihilated hundreds of monsters in one strike.

The battlefield was filled with many extraordinary experts. They fought to kill demons. However, the two rising heroes were the most conspicuous and eye-catching because their combat power was far above what it should be.

She last encountered a five-star Ultra Rare talent in the Holy Chruch, the God of Light’s soul remnant.

Someone with exceptional aptitude usually has SR or SSR talent. Someone with UR talent could be interpreted as having a high chance of ascending beyond the mortal boundary.

The demons and devils also managed to kill dozens of squads from human armies.

Ely’s eye abilities accidentally inspected those people’s status screens. Most of the seemingly mighty warriors only possessed Rare and Common talents.

Anybody could tell those warriors were the cannon fodders, but Ely’s heart ached.

"Can you restrain that devil girl and assist my people? Her proficiency in demonic blood arts and her darkness put my people at a disadvantage." Ely could see Yuuki and Evelyn kept being pushed back by Sylvia’s frenzy attacks. Sylvia was more potent than both of them...

"Do you want us to kill that devil?" One of the ancient demon ancestors asked.

"Don’t kill her. Just assist my people." Ely shook her head.

"Even though my power is only 20% left, I think I can restrain her and assist them." One of the ancient demon ancestors volunteered.

The enemy wasn’t a God from the upper realm, and restraining a Deity for a few seconds was easy.

"Restraint, Chakram!" The ancient demon ancestor controlled his numinous treasure to seal the Devil Deity’s movements.

*Crumble*

Yet, the spiritual chakram was destroyed when it came into contact with the blood threads.

"Give me your blood." Sylvia made a grasping hand gesture, and hundreds of blood threads lashed out like a group of whips.

"Argh!" The ancient demon ancestor was injured and had his blood forcefully sucked out by his enemy.

He was defeated in one strike and fell to the ground. Even so, he was still alive, just lost a lot of blood.

The other ancient demon ancestors tried to restrain the devil girl as the Young Demon God wanted, but they were defeated in less than ten moves.

That blood clones became even stronger because she received a lot of superior blood.

Abraham had no choice and flew up to the sky to assist the nine-tailed fox. However, the outcome was not much different from the previously fallen ancient demon ancestors.

"Fire of darkness! Engulf him!" Sylvia burned the armored demon, but it was ineffective.

She then slashed at the ancient demon ancestor with her spear of darkness.

Abraham was shocked when his precious spear shattered into pieces upon the clash. He was slashed and fell to the ground like a comet.

His injuries weren’t life-threatening, just a large cut and blood loss. He was half-immortal, but his blood was forcefully taken by the enemy. The black flames also couldn’t be extinguished. It burned him alive.

"Extinguish." Ely came closer and extinguished the black flames with her purification skill.

Sylvia was a powerful devil. The four ancient demon ancestors couldn’t even match Sylvia’s prowess. Yuuki and Evelyn also could only buy time and keep Sylvia busy.

Abraham breathed a sigh of relief. However, he was vulnerable due to the blood loss. "Urgh... That blood devil is truly terrible. She sucked out my blood."

"Young Demon God, we have brought the other fallen ancestors. What is your next order?"

Several ancient demons carried the dying ancestors on stretchers.

"Put them here." Ely pointed to the ground.

She then healed them with her healing skills, but the patients were the ones who would bear the price.

Yet, she only healed and purified them a little. They were still wounded, but their insane self-healing would work optimally now.

After that, she looked at the deadly battlefield in the dark sky. She couldn’t send more people to defeat Sylvia because this blood devil would draw anyone’s blood to become stronger.

’You want to stop Sylvia too? Then, please lend me your strength.’ Ely exchanged thoughts with her sword of darkness.

Hundreds of meters above the battlefield, Yuuki struggled to beat Sylvia even though Evelyn was there to help her.

Several ancient demon ancestors also tried to assist her, but Sylvia defeated them.

Nevertheless, she managed to become a taunt. Sylvia was focused solely on attacking her. She could buy some time while trying to find a solution to her predicament.

"Is this all you have? I keep telling myself that others still have our God in their hearts. We need more power to help her out." Sylvia crushed Yuuki’s ice seal into pieces.

"We need strength, but you are lost on the wrong path. You will only make her sad." Evelyn scorched Sylvia’s blood clones, but they soon rematerialized.

"What do you know? We were helpless back then, watching her fight and fall. I need a lot of strong blood to bring her back. Contribute to me!" Sylvia answered coldly, then attacked Evelyn.

"Your opponent is me." Yuuki froze Sylvia’s blood clones and taunted Sylvia once more.

Her ice got burned by Sylvia’s black flames, but the ice couldn’t be melted quickly. Sylvia’s blood clones were already half-frozen and got slow-down debuff.

’Yuuki, what should we do? Sylvia didn’t listen to anything we said. She can’t even believe we’ve found Ely. Is it because of her impulse?’ Evelyn asked worriedly.

’Ely might be able to do something, but Sylvia’s current state is too dangerous. Her crazed state and devil impulse might make her not recognize Ely too.’

’Then, can we defeat her first? We have God-tier inheritance, but Sylvia has already become so strong.’

’We can, but our forbidden techniques might kill Sylvia and harm us. We haven’t fully mastered them yet. She also has no intention of killing us. She only wants our blood. Let’s think of another way to defeat her. Can you see her weakness?’

’Even though she didn’t kill anyone from our side, defeating her without using the forbidden arts is challenging. Our secret techniques are not effective against her. She can vanish into black mist, smoulder in black fire, or melt into the blood.

Yuuki discussed with Evelyn via direct telepathy when she clashed with Sylvia. She could only parry and defend as she tried to discover Sylvia’s weakness.

Yuuki and Sylvia were taken aback and immediately backed off.

"That’s enough. You need to stop." Ely soared into the sky with Celestia in her hand, emitting an incredibly oppressive darkness.

The sword of darkness was still sheathed, but everyone could feel a tremendous sense of danger.
