?Chapter 703: Chapter 704: Goodbye (6)_1 Chapter 703: Chapter 704: Goodbye (6)_1 After finishing her words, Jing Haohao subtly changed her course, circling around Liang Chen, then continuing to walk forward.

Liang Chen remained motionless, just as he was before, his gaze fixed quietly on the empty space where Jing Haohao had stood moments ago.

He felt Jing Haohao’s approach through the snowy wind; despite the harsh weather, he could clearly detect the soft scent of her perfume.

Subconsciously, Liang Chen turned his head, catching sight of the sorrowful look draped across Jing Haohao’s downcast face.

A cruel pang of realization hit him: Was he truly about to lose her?

As Jing Haohao brushed past him, he suddenly reached out, violently seizing her wrist.

Though it was only a short half month since their last meeting, he distinctly realized that her wrist was thinner than before.

He tightened his grip, twisting his body slightly, then forcibly pulled her directly into his arms, his other hand pressing against her waist, holding her tightly against him.

Before Jing Haohao could process what was happening, Liang Chen had already bent down, blocking her lips with his own.

His breath, still bearing that familiar fresh scent mingled with the icy chill of the snowflakes, twined between their intertwined lips.

This long-lost yet exciting sensation, made her feel slightly dizzy. For a moment, she forgot that they had broken up, just standing foolishly in his arms, letting him kiss her.

Her lips, as always, were soft and sweet, driving all rational thought from Liang Chen’s mind, leaving him to kiss her with all the passion he could muster.

Liang Chen’s hands, wrapped around Jing Haohao’s waist, drawing her closer and tighter as though trying to embed her into his very flesh.

Besides the sound of the wind and falling snow, the only noise in the world was the ambiguous sound of their kissing.

Liang Chen kissed with a desperate urgency, his lips gradually moving down, biting gently into Jing Haohao’s neck.

This thrilling and tingling sensation sent a jolt straight to Jing Haohao’s core, making her snap back to reality, realizing just what she and Liang Chen were doing in the middle of the street.

They were broken up. How could they be so intimate again? What did she mean to him? Haunted by her past, yet craving her body?

In Liang Chen’s arms, Jing Haohao began to tense up and then her whole body instinctively started to struggle.

Liang Chen held her waist tight, ignoring her resistance, kissing her even more forcefully. She could clearly tell his breathing was becoming chaotic.

A sense of panic gradually crept into Jing Haohao’s heart. She vaguely felt as though the air in her lungs was being sucked dry by him. Unexpectedly summoning some hidden reserves of strength, she broke free and staggered back a few steps before managing to steady herself.

Liang Chen’s breathing was still uneven, his eyes, locked on hers, gleamed with frenzied desperation.

Jing Haohao took a deep breath, her face turning pale, “Liang Chen, you and I are nothing to each other anymore.”

Liang Chen’s expressions stiffened.

Jing Haohao pressed her lips together harshly then turned, running hurriedly towards one end of the overpass.
