He asked curiously to the Thirteen-Ring Sorceress sitting on the long couch; the two of them were now in the quiet and spacious center of the library surrounded by scattered lofty bookshelves extending beyond Shard’s sight, while above their heads were painted star maps and hanging metallic celestial orbs for astrology.

The astronomical devices that Shard completely failed to understand were slowly spinning on their own, with specks of light leaving traces on the ceiling.

Perhaps because it was still early, there weren’t many footsteps in the library. Even the diligent Circle Sorcerers probably wouldn’t be studying at the Academy Library at just past seven in the morning.
