“Well… I’ll drop you off first, and then go pick him up. He probably doesn’t have anything important to do.”
When he heard her say this, Jaysen felt warmth in his heart. It was different when Sienna said it compared to when he had to ask for it himself. He wasn’t worried about leaving her alone halfway through the shopping trip; he just didn’t want to dampen her spirits.
