Mauve gripped the hem of her dress as she descended the stairs. The dining hall was normal again, Damon was back, all the guests were gone and Erick was his usual annoying self. 

As soon as the last meal was over, she had rushed to the rooftop and had ended up watching the sunrise. It was beautiful. She had watered the plants and made sure not to get anything on her dress, she was now making her way back to her room.

She intended to ask for a chair, if there had been one she would have stayed up longer but being on her feet for too long hurt and there was no way she would have sat on any of the stones there with her dress.

She went past the library and made a mental note to check it when she woke up. It has been a while since she went in there. She headed down the last set of stairs and soon came to the door of her room.

She looked to Jael's room, wondering if he was already in his room or if he was still busy with work. She still had time before he would climb into her bed as usual. She needed to change for bed.

Since she had already taken her bath before the last meal, she had told Mill that she would take care of herself after. Mill had immediately given in and told her to ask for help if she needed any.

It was just to change out of her dress, it couldn't be that hard considering there were no ropes she couldn't reach on this dress, she shouldn't have any problems.

Mauve stretched out her hand to turn the knob, she opened the door and walked inside, closing it behind her. She looked forward and immediately saw a figure sitting on her bed, the dimly lit room gave the figure an ominous aura. She yelped in fright.

"Where did you go?" Jael asked.
