"What?" Mauve asked. She couldn't imagine what it must have been like for Louis to watch his parents get murdered. 

"You don't have to be so dramatic. I don't remember anything."

"Still," she paused for a bit. "It must have been awful."

"Maybe, but that wasn't the most troubling part."

"What was the troubling part?" She asked with a soft frown.

"I couldn't remember, not the incident, not how I got to my parents' room, and certainly not what had killed them."

"It's expected. You were not only a child but no one wants to remember something like that."
