She closed the door with a loud thud and leaned against it. She rubbed her neck but the holes had already closed up. The only thing that reminded her of the incident was the blood on her hands and the remnant of the fear she could still feel.
She wiped her hands on the black dress and slowly pushed herself off the door. She closed her eyes, giving herself a moment before she took a step away from the door.
She walked past his room and the next room. She knew the human was staying there, she could tell. She approached the stairs and froze, she could tell someone was coming and it wasn't someone she was happy to see.
She instinctively reached for her neck and tried to wipe off anything that would give her away. She kept her expression and her back straight as she walked up the stairs.
She could feel his stare as he stood on top of the stairs but she refused to meet his gaze. She kept her gaze straight ahead, completely ignoring him.
He didn't move from the top of the stairs and he stood directly in the middle so she wouldn't be able to pass unless he moved out of the way.
"Do I have to tell you to move out of the way?" She slowly raised her head to look at him.
She wasn't in the mood for any of this and if he wasn't careful he would be at the receiving end of her anger.
"What happened to you?" He asked. His voice sounded pretty low, she could tell he was angry.
