?Chapter 446: 432, Someone’s favorite clothes (2)_1 Chapter 446: 432, Someone’s favorite clothes (2)_1 Jian Luo relentlessly kissed his cheeks while cursing the devil, Black Jack, incessantly in his heart.
He was not sure how long it had been but his lips started to feel numb.
Just when he was on the verge of blowing up, someone finally had a change of heart.
“You did well, I’ll take you home.”
With that, he lowered his head and pecked his lips lightly, like a flash of lightning.
Jian Luo’s heart skipped a beat and Black Jack left the car before he could protest, moving to the driver’s seat.
“Fasten your seatbelt,” he reminded him.
Jian Luo grumbled and fastened his seatbelt.
Black Jack glanced at him through the rearview mirror, fetched a prepared gift, and tossed it back to him, “Catch.”
Jian Luo, who had just fastened his seatbelt, automatically reached out to catch it when he heard Black Jack’s voice.
“What is this?”
He looked at the box in his hand, questioning.
Black Jack started the car, a faint smile on his face, “Open it yourself and see.”
Jian Luo took a glance at him before opening the beautifully packaged box.
When he saw what was in the box, his eyes shone brightly.
It was the most famous handmade chocolate from Y Country, and it was his favorite brand.
The chocolates from this shop were limited each day, and it wasn’t something that anyone could buy just because they had the money.
His fingers ran over the delicately packaged chocolate in the box, a warm sensation flooded his chest and his eyes sparkled joyfully.
Black Jack looked in the rearview mirror and noticing the happiness in Jian Luo’s eyes, he couldn’t help but smile indulgently.
Just as they were about to reach Shijin Haoting, Jian Luo remembered that his car was still parked at the entrance of Dihao.
“What’s the matter?”
Black Jack slowed down the car and seeing Jian Luo’s upset expression, he asked.
“My sister’s car is still at the entrance of Dihao.”
“Go and get it tomorrow, there’s no rush.”
“Should I tell my sister that I walked all the way back?” Jian Luo shot him an annoyed glance and scoffed.
“Just tell her the truth, that I drove you home,” Black Jack retorted.
Jian Luo ignored him, “Just stop the car over there.”
Black Jack frowned, they were already here?
After parking the car, Jian Luo got out, clutching the box.
Black Jack rolled down the car window, watching Jian Luo’s retreating figure.
After a couple of steps, Jian Luo paused, then turned back.
He bent over and reached his hand into the car window.
“You can’t bear to…”
Before Black Jack could finish speaking, his mouth was filled with the fragrance of the chocolate.
Jian Luo withdrew his hand, his eyes curved in a smile, “This is your tip for driving.”
With that, he left with a spring in his step.
Black Jack, one hand on the steering wheel, watched Jian Luo’s retreating figure, a mirthful chuckle escaping his lips.
Watching him enter a house not far away, he finally started the car and left.
…
“Dear, why isn’t Brother Luo back yet?” Xiya asked while lounging on the couch with a remote in hand, aimlessly switching channels.
“Guess he’s still hanging out with Han Yue and the others,” Jian Qing guessed.
As the saying goes, “just thinking of the devil, and the devil appears.”
Jian Luo entered the door and found himself the focus of two pairs of eyes.
He masked the unease in his eyes and calmly changed into his indoor shoes.
Jian Qing and Xiya exchanged glances, sensing something fishy.
“Luo Luo, your clothes?” Jian Qing examined his rather “loose” black sweater and asked with an intent look.
She could recall him leaving home in a white shirt with a jacket on today. Black Jack had even called her specially because of it. Now, upon his return, both the jacket and white shirt were nowhere to be seen.
“Brother Luo, what are you holding?” Xiya asked closely on her heels.
He already had one headache because of his sister and now, with Xiya too, Jian Luo felt cornered.
He scratched his head, making up a lie, “I stained my clothes and had to change into a new one.”
“Luo Luo, this sweater doesn’t seem to fit you well, besides you seldom wear black clothes,” Jian Qing pointed out promptly.
Jian Luo, “…”
Sister, can’t you play dumb just once?
Noticing Jian Qing’s hint, Xiya followed up saying, “I remember that someone from Y Country likes to wear a black sweater like this, don’t you agree, dear?”
Jian Qing smirked, “It seems you’re right.”
So someone couldn’t resist and came over.
Seeing this, Jian Luo knew he could no longer fool the two of them.
Without further excuses, he said wearisomely, “Can you two be less shrewd?”
The implication of his words was essentially a covert admission.
Xiya smelled a hint of scandal, “Black Jack came, where is he now?”
“He left, there is something he needs to handle in Y Country,” Jian Luo replied.
“So soon?” Xiya looked baffled. Then, she tutted, “This is the power of love. Brother Luo, he came all this way to see you and you didn’t even hold back. You are really too cold-hearted.”
Jian Luo shot her an annoyed glance, “Can you stop being nosy?”
“Can’t do, this lady here has a very keen curiosity,” Xiya grinned.
“So, what’s the story behind this sweater?” Jian Qing pulled the topic back, asking teasingly.
Xiya, “Didn’t you two secretly do something unspeakable? Confess quickly.”
Jian Luo scanned the living room, trying to locate a piece of tape to shut her up.
“I told you, I got my clothes dirty, so he gave me this sweater, that’s all.”
“Got dirty?” Xiya smirked suggestively.
Jian Luo wished he could throw her out of the place, “I got dirty in a bar, can your thoughts be a little more pure?”
Xiya responded with an innocent smile, “But I didn’t mention anything, perhaps your mind is wandering?”
“Luo Luo, you visited a bar?” Jian Qing pointed out the key point in his words, asking.
All these years, Black Jack had always strictly forbidden him from going to bars. Yet tonight, he actually went and even got caught by Black Jack.
“It was Han Yue and the rest who took me there,” Jian Luo confirmed.
Jian Qing, suppressing her laughter, asked, “So, you were caught by Black Jack?”
Jian Luo nodded helplessly.
“Ha ha ha, Brother Luo, it seems you shouldn’t have gone out today,” Xiya said gleefully, “Black Jack finds out you went to a bar and still sends you back peacefully, this is indeed the sun rising from the west.”
Considering Black Jack’s character, it was unlikely for him to let go without punishing anyone, which was indeed odd.
Jian Luo huffed and went upstairs, clutching the box.
Jian Qing didn’t try to stop him, but shook her head and laughed quietly.
It seemed like the situation had turned for the better with Black Jack.
