Ely’s group had just picked up Noir as it was time for them to leave. The affairs in the Ancient Night Secret Realm finished earlier than expected, and it should still be noon in the outside world.

She checked her grimoire to see any compelling missions on the quest page and was surprised to see a mission at the top.

"???" Ely wondered. A particular Demon God had just resurrected, but she had no idea where he was.

Also, the Constellation of Fate gave her a reminder. It was rare for a mission with a note, but it was essential.

The Abyss Demon God was still weak, and it might be easy to kill him. But if he was fully recovered, it would be a disaster.

Ely understood what the Constellation of Fate wanted to convey.

Due to the Artificial Hell Realm’s incident, her Mythical-tier holy weapons and artifacts ready for use were just a few. She had no confidence in defeating the fully recovered Demon God, even though the mentioned Demon God was suppressed by the mortal world’s laws.

’But, why are there no stat rewards for this mission?’ Ely felt a little disappointed.

Noir flew through the realm portal. Ely and her little group returned to the outside world.

The day was pretty sunny, with a lot of overcast clouds. It was still snowing, and the temperature change was significant from the Ancient Night Secret Realm and the outside world.

A malicious demonic aura shot up suddenly from the dark abyss direction.

Ely immediately understood the said Abyss Demon God was nearby.

It was a skinny purple demon with a large black skull coffin strapped to his back. A pair of giant hands that resembled wings stuck out on his back. He had long white hair, red pupils with black sclera, and a thick malicious demonic aura.

Ely then muttered subconsciously. "The newly resurrected Abyss Demon God..."

"!?" Yuuki, Sylvia, Gabriella, and Jophiel gasped. They had just dealt with the Evil God of Artificial Hell a few days ago, and a particular Demon God came to them right now!

What Ely said a few days ago rang in everyone’s mind. Fate would bring the world’s threat for them to deal with.

It was still one of the Guardian of Dream’s ultimate goals. Since their target of extermination came at them, they would grant it to the newly resurrected Abyss Demon God.

When that purple demon grabbed the demon captain, Ely signalled her disciple. "Paralyze him."

"Affirmative." Gabriella took out a miniature ballista and loaded a potent paralyzing needle. She aimed at the purple demon and shot the needle with great accuracy.

*Stab*

The needle stabbed deep into that purple demon’s arm. The paralytic effect reacted, and he couldn’t move for a few minutes.

"He’s just a low-class demon. How about you talk to us instead, abyss demon?" Ely greeted from the sky. She also checked the Abyss Demon God’s status screen.

This Abyss Demon God was almost on par with the Evil God of Artificial Realm, but the former was a real deal, not a mere remnant or soul.

"!!!" Sicazas, The Abyys Demon God, was shocked.

’I just resurrected from my death, and several peak-level powerhouses are already waiting to ambush me while I’m still weak!?’ Sicazas shouted in his mind.

His winning percentage was slim if he had to clash against multiple 10th Rank powerhouses. He considered a few things, then circulated his demonic energy to dispel the paralyzing effect. He hurriedly fled from the vicinity.

’A 13th Rank Demon God and you ran away the moment you saw us? He hasn’t recovered yet and is no stronger than a Grand Master. We can do it.’ Ely muttered in her mind, then stretched her hand forward. "Take him down!"

"Heehee~ Why are you running away, lost soul? Your opponent is me!" Sylvia used her acceleration magic and shot out like a missile.

Yuuki, Gabriella, and Jophiel immediately made their moves and chased after the purple demon. He went towards the dark abyss, and they had to take him down before he could escape.

Sylvia’s movement was so fast. She blasted the ground and knocked the purple demon away from the dark abyss.

The weakened Abyss Demon God had no choice but to clash against two 10th Rank powerhouses and two 6th Rank experts.

"Thank you very much, Young Demon God! You saved me and the other demons before that undead monster killed us." The demon captain knelt down and expressed his deepest gratitude.

"A five hundred meter radius from the clash is dangerous. Evacuate everyone. Fly closer to him." Ely gave her order and asked Noir to fly closer to the clash.

"Yes, yes, my almighty lord!" The demon captain nodded in understanding. He ordered the nearby demons to immediately move away to a safe distance.

Several demon generals came from afar due to the great commotion. Still, they became spectators because the Young Demon God and his wives were already there to handle the situation.

*Boom!* *Crackle*

Sylvia knocked the Abyss Demon God down, and Yuuki froze him. Jophiel launched a follow-up attack, and Gabriella dealt a finishing blow.

Their fight to defeat the Abyss Demon God didn’t even last more than a minute. The four of them teamed up to fight one Demon God. It was so easy, and that’s what made them doubt it.

"It’s not over! It’s not even my final form yet!" Sicazas exclaimed as he tried to use his trump card. His body began to swell up.

Unfortunately, his opponent immediately hit him mercilessly. They didn’t allow him to finish his transformation or use his God mode.

"Ely is currently not nearby. But why is it so easy? This feels really weird..." Sylvia was astonished. She still couldn’t believe it... taking down the Abyss Demon God was so easy.

Yuuki also felt something was wrong because this purple demon was weak. Ely’s suppression took no part, but the target was half dead on the ground.

Gabriella and Jophiel nodded in agreement. Their master referred to this purple demon as the Abyss Demon God. Yet, he was no more potent than an ordinary 6th Rank cultivator.

*Crackle* *Crackle*

Yuuki’s ice cracked, and the black skull coffin vanished from the purple demon’s back. It reappeared behind Sylvia. It opened like a door and was about to swallow Sylvia inside.

"Your behind! Watch out!" Ely exclaimed in surprise because Sylvia didn’t notice the black skull coffin yet.

"Eh?" Sylvia glanced back. She couldn’t sense that coffin.

"!!!" Yuuki was about to pull Sylvia’s arm, but she was a step too late.

*Bam!*

The black skull coffin closed, trapping Sylvia inside.

*Bam!* *Bam!* *Rumble*

The coffin vibrated ferociously as Sylvia hit it from the inside. Yet, the coffin suddenly became quiet.

An aura of darkness surged, and fresh red blood flowed from the gaps in the coffin. It gathered into a puddle of blood.

"No way..." Yuuki widened her eyes. She couldn’t believe Sylvia was dead just like that. They were often butted heads and couldn’t get along on most occasions, but they were still good friends.

"Hey, what was that? This black skull coffin is sneaky, and I can’t detect it." Sylvia emerged from the puddle of blood.

"Huh?" Yuuki was stunned for a moment as she stared at the liquid Sylvia. She had forgotten Sylvia could melt into the blood and evaporate into black mist.

"Oh, my? What’s with your silly expression, my dear Yuuki~ Did you think I would die that easily?" Sylvia placed her finger on Yuuki’s chin.

"Who’s worried about you? I know you won’t die easily like a random mob like him." Yuuki brushed off Sylvia’s hand as she was too embarrassed to admit it. She did a little worried... just a little.

"You’re careless, but this coffin is weird." Ely got off Noir’s back.

"Is it?" Sylvia controlled her blood qi inside the coffin and tried to blast it with explosive magic.

*Boom!*

The black skull coffin exploded and shattered into pieces.

"Oops." Sylvia covered her mouth. She never expected that the coffin was that fragile, but she couldn’t break it from inside earlier.

"You destroyed it..." Yuuki muttered softly.

"I didn’t know it was that fragile. When I was trapped in it, it was so sturdy." Sylvia wore an innocent expression.

"..." Ely picked up a coffin’s fragment. She discovered a chaotic element. It tried to suck up her spiritual energy but wasn’t strong enough to pull it out of her finger.

"If my assumption is correct, that coffin can absorb the victim’s spiritual energy dry to nourish this purple demon. Any resistance from the inside will be negated and weakened. Unfortunately, the owner isn’t strong enough to restrain the 10th Rank devil’s tricky technique. Isn’t that right, Sicazas?" Ely took out her holy sword. She drew it at the purple demon on the ground. He was pretending to be dead.

"You- How do you know that name? Are you the Young Demon God?" Sicazas turned to the side, furious, when this dark knight demon casually said his true name.

Ely found the Abyss Demon God’s hostility suddenly soared to 89%. She had to finish him before he pulled another trick.

"Your malice is too deep. You will bring nothing but destruction and chaos. Purgatory." Ely stabbed the Abyss Demon God’s heart with her holy sword, then used a unique-type Super-tier artifact to purge the evil with purification fire.
