Chapter 178: The Incident is Resolved
Chapter 178: The Incident is Resolved
*Kaboom!*
A supermassive explosion blasted the blood-red valley and its surroundings. More than three thousand experts from various backgrounds participated.
More than nine thousand explosive crystals supplied by thousands of human cultivators and mages were detonated, creating a combined massive blast. Nevertheless, it also looked like an art of explosion.
Dozens of shockwaves exploded within the soaring fire. The huge flames lifted up to the sky like a mountain of fire from hell.
Everyone watched the scene from a safe distance. Three hundred experts then approached the gigantic blaze in a semicircle formation.
"Earth Elemental Art, Bury the Land, Return to Earth!"
The monks chanted their spells and unleashed their techniques.
Dozens of golden scriptures manifested around them and spread to the surrounding lands. The earth answered their wish. A vast and super deep hole was soon created there, swallowing the surrounding fiery land into the earth.
The earth also spewed a huge amount of soil to the surface, burying the blood-red valley and the destroyed ruins deep underground. The supermassive flame soon lost its heat and disappeared, buried under the ground along with the forbidden land.
After half an hour, the monks felt the forbidden land had been sealed quite deep underground. They then chanted the final spells to seal the ground with several potent formations with the natural earth veins as the power source.
Last but not least, the two Deities from the Blood Moon Pavilion provided a finishing touch by dropping a massive mountain onto the sealed ground. A gigantic stone sword pillar with many chains stuck to the top.
It was a remnant from the previous battle that impaled the gigantic floating fortress.
Once all was finished, an abbot led his people to send a farewell prayer to the dead.
"Amen." Ely clasped her hands in prayer.
The blood-red land in the southeastern coastal region was no more, and the terrain had completely changed. Apart from the massive mountain, everything was a wasteland without any greenery.
Regardless, the soil color was brown, more dense and fertile. After all, it was the soil from deep underground that was spewed out when the blood-red land was swallowed up by the earth.
"The matter here is finished. The Heavenly Demon Inheritor has perished under purgatory, and the Heavenly Demon God’s ancient ruins have been sealed deep underground. This area is prohibited and will be monitored by many parties." Feng Xue turned around and announced the completion of their mission.
Many people then voiced their relief and exchanged opinions with each other.
However, Feng Xue took the opportunity to pull Saintess Miko and Sacred Sakura’s people closer to her side. "It’s late, and I can see everyone is quite tired. Esteemed experts from the fellow holy lands, how about you visit our Scarlet Domain Secret Realm and stay overnight? We shall give our best treatment during your visit."
"Hmm?" Gabriella glanced sideways to see her master’s reaction.
"..." Ely was silent momentarily as Feng Xue looked at her. She knew this Blood Empress wanted her to visit the Blood Moon Pavilion for unknown reasons.
She truly wanted to return home, sleep, or at least have a safe resting place. Mingyue also looked at her with an expectant gaze. It was a friendly visit then.
Seeing Miko’s doubts, Mingyue immediately spoke. "Please rest assured. Our Blood Moon doesn’t have any discrimination just because of hair color. As long as one is talented and strong, even they can be worshiped like a God and Goddess."
"!?" Meiying had no idea why Mingyue suddenly brought up that topic, but she knew it was to satirize her sect.
Miko would be reluctant to visit the Frozen Cloud because of that discrimination, and the guests from Sacred Sakura might never pay a visit, considering the Elder Celestial Fox incident.
Meiying bit her lower lips as she had to do something with that ridiculous discrimination as soon as possible.
"Ah, alright. We might trouble you." Ely didn’t mind.
She informed her disciples via telepathy talisman, but most could not join her on the visit because they needed to handle some matters that needed to be taken care of as soon as possible.
The details were unknown, but Ely didn’t force those who couldn’t come with her.
Four core disciples and twenty disciples would come with her. Kirara had to join the Temple of Law people to handle the aftermath. Yuuki, Sylvia, and Evelyn said they would go wherever she went.
Meiying and the people from Frozen Cloud were also invited, but only a portion of them could attend. The rest had to return to their secret realm.
"Where’s your dragon pet? He wasn’t accidentally buried underground because he was fascinated by the massive fire just now, right?" Evelyn looked right and left, but she couldn’t find Noir anywhere.
"He’s there and on his way here." Sylvia pointed at the top of the stone sword monument at the mountain’s summit.
The little black dragon was flying over at his master’s call.
"Let’s go." Mingyue stroked her little firebird’s head.
"Squawk!" Mingyue’s firebird, Yu’er, squealed with delight as she knew it was time for her to transform into a big firebird.
"No, no. My powerful mount shall carry everyone on his back. Unlike that weak and skinny bird, Noir can carry everyone without trouble, even if you are heavy. Save your flying artifacts back and let your pet rest." Sylvia called out to everyone before they summoned their flying artifacts or mounts.
"Hmph!" Mingyue pursed her lips and snorted softly. She knew that remark was aimed at her and her firebird.
"Roar." Noir roared casually. A crimson flame enveloped him, and it expanded to an enormous size.
*Bam!*
A huge magma black dragon emerged from the fire and landed on the ground, creating a brief earthquake. Noir looked arrogantly at the people below but soon lowered his head to his master.
"This dragon is like a flying mountain. When the flying fortress was attacking us, where did this dragon go, by the way?" Feng Xua was stunned as she stared at the massive magma-black dragon up close.
"He was blown away by that fortress’s beam into the neighboring area. It’s your first time riding an authentic Deity-level demonic dragon, right? This demonic beast is a friend, not a foe." Sylvia jumped up on Noir’s back.
"Mm, we’re counting on you." Ely gave Noir a head pat.
Noir enjoyed it even though it was a simple touch.
Everyone who would go to the Scarlet Domain Secret Realm climbed onto the massive black dragon’s back. Once everyone was up, Noir flapped his wings and flew west.
His master said they would visit a secret realm dominated by red. He expected a domain of fire or something like that.
"Excuse me. We-" A leader from Human Alliance was about to converse with the remaining Sacred Sakura people.
Unfortunately, Ely’s disciples didn’t want to linger there any further. They disappeared from the vicinity using a teleportation crystal.
"It’s time for us to leave, too, but we will still monitor this area." One of the Frozen Cloud elders raised her hand in farewell.
"I, represent the Human Alliance, expressed our gratitude." The leader paid his respect once again.
"Well, you have thanked us enough. If it wasn’t for the Saintess Miko, it would have been difficult for the three holy lands to immediately send reinforcements to handle that Heavenly Demon Inheritor." The Frozen Cloud’s elder and her people soon flew away using their Ice Lotus.
Only those from the Human Alliance and the Temple of Law remained there to handle the aftermath.
---
Atop a particular hill near the scene, a young mage in a white cloak looked up at the western sky, deep in thought.
He came here because of the news about the chaos that happened here. The incident that had just happened involved too many parties, and the news was already spreading like wildfire. The Heavenly Demon Inheritor’s awakening, but Sacred Sakura Holy Land brought many experts from three holy lands to crush the threat.
Even though he didn’t directly see the incident, he could see a massive battle of great destruction had just occurred.
The entire land was destroyed and replaced with a new environment. The bloody forbidden land was sealed and buried. He arrived in time and witnessed the event of burying the forbidden land.
On another matter, he still felt astonished as he could no longer feel Bai Yuchen’s signal. Yet, his hunch said that lucky guy was present among the Sacred Sakura people on that massive black dragon’s back.
Unfortunately, the people from Sacred Sakura wore a cloak and full-face masks. So, he wasn’t sure.
"He’s still alive, right? It’s impossible for him to die because of that stupid accident. He couldn’t have missed such a big event like this. Or did he get too lucky and join Sacred Sakura?" Chen Fan sighed and shook his head.
"Huh? Who are you talking about?" A girl in a white mage outfit asked in wonder.
"Never mind. We came here late, and the incident was already resolved by the experts of the three holy lands and the Human Alliance. The Heavenly Demon Inheritor ascended in rank too quickly and alerted those experts to crush her on the same day as her awakening. Let’s leave, Zi-Zhen." Chen Fan turned around and walked away.
"Eh? Wait! But we just arrived." Wang Zi-Zhen was surprised, but she followed her childhood friend immediately.
