"What about the situation?"

"They intend to send a batch of mermaids to the imperial capital in two days. The rest of the mermaids are in the underground dungeon."

The decision was made, and the five mermaids led by Dory rushed towards the underground dungeon’s entrance, covered in a blanket of invisibility.

Two burly mermen knights guarded the door. Seeing that, Dory took out a small flute artifact and blew it towards the two guards.

A particular sound frequency wave struck the target’s head. They instantly froze and blacked out.

"Move, move. We don’t have much time." Dory beckoned to everyone and rushed into the secret chamber underground. Their keys were in one of the guards, and they managed to enter the dungeon smoothly.

They found underground prisons that chained many young mermaids and adult ones.

Each prison was protected by a rune. Dory and the other mermaids did not open the prison rashly. They inspected the dungeon first and found a gruesome sight in the deepest chamber.

"!!!" One of the masked mermaids covered her mouth. She was about to vomit but held it in.

It was a dumping ground for the dead mermaids.

"Put them all in a storage pouch. They need to get a proper burial." Scarlet furrowed her brows and gritted her teeth. This clan had to pay for their sin!

Once the inspection was done, Dory had prepared a mechanism to destroy all the runes.

"Hi, little mermaids... My name is Dory. We are the elite troops of the Mermaid Kingdom, the Supreme Goddess’ followers. Do you want to be rescued and freed? Join us, and we shall regain our glory and dignity." Dory asked in a gentle tone.

"Has God not abandoned us? He came to save and protect us?"

"Mer- Mermaid Kingdom?"

"What kind of place is that?"

"Are we going to get out of prison and never have to go through that painful training again? That instructor is so mean."

Several young mermaids answered with fear. Some were injured and bruised, wishing to cry but couldn’t. They saw a hope.

The imprisoned adult mermaids just sighed at the offer. They didn’t even dare to fight and pin one’s hopes as they had already accepted their pitiful fate as slaves.

The exit suddenly sealed, and the new mechanism reappeared. Gabriella and her team, who were inspecting the room, were surprised. They were prepared to take emergency action.

"Shut up." The masked disciple sealed the fat fishkin’s mouth with a sticky plaster.

"Aahh!" Emerald tried to resist the demonization, but the command had been relayed to activate.

She looked at Dory in her half-demonic state, smiled faintly, and moved her lips to say one last word with her remaining consciousness. "Leave..."
