Chapter 250: The Conquest Mission is Over

It had been one day since Elysia’s visit to the Ifiqar, the distant another world.

The witches and wizards adapted to Terra World better than she thought. The seven 1st generation witches converted to Demi-God level, including the dead one, the 9th Rank expert.

The weakest wizard was at 4th Rank. Meanwhile, the strongest SS Rank witches, just below the 1st generation witches, were equal to the 8th Rank mage.

It was nearing evening, and it was getting dark at the bottom of the sea. Yet, the beautiful glow from the coral crystals and other life elements illuminated the seabed.

"..." Alicia swam here and there like a happy mermaid. It was a new experience for her. She picked up some beautiful crystals and shells for her gem crafts.

A realm portal emerged, and Elysia came out of the Nature Realm. She stopped her experiments for today because it was approaching dinner. Her people would return soon.

She looked to the side and found Alicia swimming in the water with many fish. The other 1st generation witches was still nearby too.

For some reason, they were reluctant to go far from her, unlike the other witches and wizards. Apart from these SSS Rank witches, the others went to explore the world. Their journey started from the Tearobis Great Continent.

"Hm?" Alicia noticed someone’s gaze upon her. She found her God had returned and immediately approached to greet her God.

"Don’t you want to explore this world? This world has countless opportunities and beauty of wonder. There are also several types of magic users such as mage and sage here." Elysia heaved a subtle sigh.

"Mm, we will explore it when the time comes. However, I feel you will do something to this ocean soon. We look forward to seeing it." Alicia smiled excitedly.

"Yes, you are right. A grand event will happen tomorrow and the day after." Elysia replied with a nod.

She didn’t know why, but she felt Alicia had found the meaning of happiness. Thus, she let these witches do what they wanted as long as it didn’t violate the rules and ethics.

"Grand event?" Alicia knew it. There must be an exciting reason why her God stayed on the seabed.

"Master! I have mastered the Immortal Ice Aura Control Technique!" Yuuki swam closer with impressive speed, almost like an ice missile. She couldn’t wait to tell her master of her accomplishment.

"Slow down." Megami stepped out of the tent and raised her hand to the approaching icy fox.

Yuuki evaded Megami’s slow-down spell. She slowed her speed perfectly and gracefully landed in the bubble camp, but several pieces of ice fell before her feet.

"..." Megami spoke nothing. She stood behind Elysia and quietly handed the green necklace back to its owner.

"Marvelous. You no longer freeze yourself in water. This should be fine." Elysia brushed off the ice flakes from Yuuki’s hair and tails.

"Hm-mm~ It’s all thanks to you, master." Yuuki was pleased and satisfied. She enjoyed her master’s touch but realized something as it was so quiet. "May I know where the others are?"

"They are cleaning up the anti-magic experiment room. It’s getting close to evening, and everyone will be back soon. Let’s cook something nice." Elysia looked at the distant sea. Miko and her people would arrive in a few hours.

"Dinner party? Let me help you." Yuuki volunteered to help.

"Good." Elysia went with Megami and Yuuki to the kitchen in the bubble camp next door.

"..." Alicia followed her God as she also wanted to help.

Truthfully, she still felt troubled because her God had an identical twin sister, a nine-tailed shadow fox avatar. Based on the information, there was still one other avatar, the shrine priestess one...

A few moments later, the other Goddesses joined the cooking event to help Elysia in the kitchen. The other 1st generation witches also participated as they wanted to get close to their God.

"Hmm!?" Alicia tasted her God’s dish for the first time and instantly fell in love with it.

It might look like a fancy seafood soup, but the taste was heavenly! Not to mention the extraordinary benefits she received after eating it.

"Hey, can you let me taste it too?" Ruri, the witch spirit, expressed her discontent. Her fellow sisters had the same dreamy expression of enjoyment when tasting the food. She wanted it too!

"How do we do that? You are still a spirit and cannot eat tangible things. You also can’t possess the bodies of fellow witches." Alicia asked in wonder.

"No way..." Ruri floated down like a deflated balloon. She truly wished to be revived soon. Her determination had never been this high before.

"You can still enjoy the food despite being a spirit without a body. You just need to-" Yuuki recalled about a particular vampire progenitor ghost before he gained a new body. However, some noise came from a distance and diverted her attention.

"Hey, at least finish what you’re going to say. Don’t make me die of curiosity!" Ruri voiced her dissatisfaction. However, she also looked at the source of the sound.

Several large warships approached like a batch of war machines that had just returned from the battlefield after winning the war with absolute victory.

"Enemy?" One of the witches asked.

"No, they are our friends. Goddess Ely’s people, her faithful servants." Yuuki shook her head.

"They’ve arrived. Move all the dishes to the main bubble camp. We’ll be having a big dinner party tonight." Elysia wiped her hands.

"Wow..." The witches were amazed by the same impression.

Those majestic warships looked strong with great fighting power. This army’s combat power might be equal to or more dangerous than the human army in their previous world.

And! The large dinner party with delicacies worth thousands of people. They would have dinner with their God and some influential experts.

The witches looked at each other because they felt lucky to stay.

The other witches and wizards missed this opportunity because they immediately left to explore the world this morning. Their God only gave each of them a lunch box containing several sandwiches and a bag of provisions.

"They’ll have to settle for sandwitches. Oops, I mean sandwiches."

"Should we tell them to come back for dinner?"

"Yup. They can look for food outside. They’re not little kids."

"Then, that means more food for us!"

The witches chatted like merry birds.

Everyone helped Elysia move all the food to the most significant bubble camp. It was the dinner party venue that could accommodate two thousand people at once.

Several tables were placed on various sides. Everyone was free to choose their dinner from the buffet.

"Mama~ I’m back!" Miko jumped into her mama’s embrace.

"How was your trip? I was surprised because you suddenly decided to participate in the conquest mission this morning." Elysia gave Miko many head pats.

"It was fun. We punished a lot of evildoers. But!"

"Hm? Is there something you’re dissatisfied with?"

"That giant worm and Leviathan are just friends. They are ravaging the ocean, and no one can stop them. Why do we let them run rampant?"

"Hmm, they’re friends? Well then, they have a mission they don’t know about yet. Those they catch and swallow will be released when the time comes to strengthen the sovereignty of the Mermaid Kingdom and overthrow the Ugrasta Sea Empire." Elysia replied with a subtle smile.

"Oh! So, we’re not releasing monsters but employing monsters!" Vanessa dropped her fist onto her open palm.

"Welcome back." Yuuki waved her hand.

"Yuuki, damn you! You were by our master’s side all the time. I’m so jealous!" Sylvia jumped off the warship and dashed towards Yuuki.

"Please behave." Yuuki caught Sylvia’s hands before any incident occurred. They ended up wrestling on equal ground.

"You were as lively as ever. Master, we have completed our mission perfectly. The Ugrasta Sea Empire will come with a large army the day after tomorrow." Luna reported the situation respectfully.

"Hmm, that’s according to predictions and plans." Fortuna nodded in satisfaction. She also made predictions about it.

"Then, please come in and enjoy this festive dinner. We made many new friends lately~" Elysia ushered everyone into the main bubble camp.

"Dinner party!" Remiel rushed after her seniors to take the best dinner spot.

"Don’t run wild. Remember etiquette." Gabriella reminded Remiel. All girls had to act gracefully, especially before their master and Goddess Master.

Elysium members soon gathered around Elysia during the dinner party.

The witches felt awkward because they felt like strangers all of a sudden. Even so, they quickly blended in because everyone was so friendly.

"The witch from another world? How coincidental. I am a mage from another world, too. Our classes are similar. My name is Evelyn. Nice to meet you." Evelyn shook Alicia’s hand.

"Pleased to meet you too, Miss Evelyn. My name is Alicia." Alicia was sincerely surprised to meet the mage from another world.

"Hmm... the witches from Earth are rumoured to be ugly old women with twisted, evil magic. But, why are these witches as beautiful as saintesses with fair skin and the pure magical aura of great sage? What do you think, Xentia." Sylvia circled the witches wonderingly.

"You’ve only visited Earth once, and you haven’t met the real witch of Earth. It’s a secret organisation of magic users, the Witch of the North. They have their goals regardless of their twisted magic and are not pure evil." Xentia shook her head and sipped her warm tea.

"Hmm~" Dory hummed happily. She wiped her fishtail dry with a towel before transforming her lower half into a pair of legs.

She wrapped a long cloth around her waist like a beach pareo, then joined her fellow sisters at the dinner party.

The other mermaids and sea dwellers enjoyed dinner outside the bubble camp. Nevertheless, Dory wanted to gather with her master and family.
