Chapter 300: The Storm is Over
Chapter 300: The Storm is Over
Feng Xue faced two dilemmas. She had to protect Mingyue and wait for the battle’s outcome, but she had to rescue her servants as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t leave Mingyue alone because Mingyue’s cultivation base was still at Nascent Soul Realm. Her father’s minions could kidnap Mingyue in a thousand ways that she couldn’t imagine during the ongoing chaos.
"Sister?" Mingyue could feel her elder sister’s anxiety from their intertwined hands. Her sister wouldn’t let go of her hand, but she knew her sister also wanted to rescue Ling Guang and the other servants.
*Whoosh*
The gentle spiritual wind blew, and the domain before them gradually vanished.
The Soul Fox Deity stepped out of the spiritual wind suppression with the grace of a dignified winner.
Her appearance was still neat and charming, without the slightest trace of battle visible.
"W-what about him?" Feng Xue couldn’t see her father’s clone anywhere, wishing he was dead already, but she needed to make sure.
"Fufu, are you concerned about him?" Luna covered her mouth with her feather fan.
"It would be better if he died." Feng Xue shook her head.
"Mm~ yes, I killed him and destroyed his clone’s soul spirit. He is suffering from severe backlash in the Scarlet Domain Secret Realm." Luna walked in the air, about to return to the Shrine Abode.
"..." Mingyue didn’t know how to respond to that information. Her father got it upon himself, but the follow-up event wouldn’t end peacefully.
He staged a scheme to bring them back secretly to avoid the implications of the Blood Moon Pavilion or trigger the war. Sadly, he encountered the Soul Fox Deity.
The one he faced was the Sacred Sakura Holy Land, the sacred sect beyond anyone’s measure. He invited the divine’s wrath, and the Blood Moon Pavilion would perish if Miko’s mama wished for it!
"Lady Soul Fox Deity, please wait a second." Feng Xue went forward, trying to request a favor.
"Hmm~ Just wait patiently at the mountain foot on our 3rd great mountain with your little sister. Our people are on their way. They will bring your little girlfriend back safely." Luna waved her hand in farewell before flying away to the Sacred Mountain’s peak.
"Thank you." Feng Xue grasped her fist in gratitude. She wanted to entrust Mingyue to rescue her servants, but Sacred Sakura had already gone to bring them back.
"Sister, a great war will break out, right? The Sacred Sakura Holy Land will attack the Blood Moon Pavilion. Our father’s scheme can be read like an open book by Lady Soul Fox Deity..." Mingyue tugged the hem of her sister’s dress.
"It’s very possible, but it won’t happen soon, I think... at least they’ll wait for the Sacred Sakura Goddess to come out of her seclusion." Feng Xue heaved a subtle sigh.
"Can we prevent it? The great war will cause a lot of casualties. The Blood Moon Pavilion might perish." Mingyue was concerned about the Blood Moon’s people. Many innocents would die if Sacred Sakura were to attack.
"It’s hard to say, but we must negotiate and appeal to the Sacred Sakura Goddess, Miko’s mama. The storm is over... Regardless, he will still pay for all his deeds. His profound scheme is nothing but a child play in front of Sacred Sakura." Feng Xue didn’t care about the Blood Moon Pavilion anymore. However, her little sister was worried, and she couldn’t help but provide a possible solution.
"Chrip!" The little firebird came out of the hut and perched on her master’s shoulder.
"..." Mingyue stroked her little pet and quietly followed her sister to the 3rd great mountain. On the way, she thought about many things in her mind.
---
The storm from the south was over, but the north needed to wait for the aftermath. Gio and Lixue went north to assist their comrades. However, several core members were at the Shrine Abode, while others were still busy around the Sacred Sakura region.
Luna returned to the Shrine Abode and greeted everyone, curious about everyone’s expression. "I’m back~ Did something exciting happen?"
"Yeah, something exciting beyond anyone’s expectations. Agent Amy was careless, and our master was kidnapped along with the entire Kaleidoscopic Sphere. Thankfully, Miko took it back with our master’s avatar divinity." Vanessa informed Luna while eating the mochi snack Amy had left on the table.
"Uh-huh?" Luna was taken aback. She checked around, and Agent Amy was missing. Not even Amy’s aura could be detected in the Sacred Sakura region. It was indeed beyond her divination.
"Please don’t be like that. Our master has prepared for future risks and possibilities through Miko. It’s not entirely Agent Amy’s fault. The enemy must have been targeting the Kaleidoscopic Sphere for a few days already. Yet, we failed to detect the God class threat." Evelyn tried to make things clear as they shouldn’t keep blaming the Agent of Heaven.
"Mm, yeah. She is earnest about her duties as Heaven’s liaison, but how do we contact her to tell her about the current matter? I’m sure she’s fighting it out." Ella grasped her hand. She could guess Agent Amy was so desperate right now.
"..."
"..."
No one could answer that question. They couldn’t inform the other party because Amy had never brought the telecommunication talisman.
"..." Miko just realized that. She never gave the telecommunication talisman because Agent Amy was always around, and nobody could order this Agent of Heaven around.
Only her mama and the Goddesses could do that, but they used the divine voice transmission to communicate with Amy.
"Agent Amy won’t return until she brings back the Kaleidoscopic Sphere and the Heavenly Altar, right?" Miko checked the clock box.
It had been more than half an hour. She knew it would take longer than the promised five minutes for Amy to bring back the Kaleidoscopic Sphere. She teleported it to its original place, but Amy didn’t know.
Even though Amy could retrieve it later, the only one Amy would find was a small ’gift’ for the evildoer, and it could explode!
"An enemy that can rival a 16th Rank Immortal, huh... Agent Amy found a difficult opponent. Luckily, this kind of enemy didn’t mess around amidst the chaos." Luna muttered softly, but she wasn’t the least bit worried, considering that Amy was the Agent of Heaven with the Divine World’s full support.

After the stormy sky dissipated, the sun had already set. Yet, the night in the Northern Realm became extraordinarily lively because many experts tried to help the Sacred Sakura Holy Land take care of the aftermath by punishing the invaders and the offenders.
The massive movements were significant because almost all Sacred Sakura’s allies sent their representatives regardless of origin. The humans, demons, and other races did something in open cooperation without hostility.
Some distance to the east, the Qinlan Sect had also received news about the high-devil offenders and massive monster stampedes causing chaos in the Sacred Sakura Holy Land’s gate territory.
As one of the renowned sects in the Human Alliance affiliated with Sacred Sakura, they should also send their people to the most revered sacred land. They could use this opportunity to build a good, close relationship. Unfortunately, the situation that just occurred did not allow anyone to leave.
The battle between Gods that had just occurred was gone. Unfortunately, the grand protective formation did not allow anyone to leave the barrier, at least before dawn, because it also confined them inside.
Lucius climbed Yin Mountain via a cliff path like an agile ninja in a chilly atmosphere.
He wished to collect the promised payment and searched for Zhuan Mei’s location using a small tracking magic that he left in her robe.
"Hm, mm~ hm?" Zhuan Mei was preparing to join her senior sisters to soak in a hot spring. However, she discovered some strange noises from the window.
"..." Zhuan Mei tightened her bathrobe, worried about an intruder or thief. She took her treasured sword and observed her surroundings by the window, spreading her spiritual sense to check the outside situation.
"Hey." Lucius called out from the side.
"Wha!" Zhuan Mei jolted and gasped in surprise. She aimed her sheathed sword at the intruder, but she soon breathed a sigh of relief because it was only Lucius. "You surprised me! Wait, how did you get in here?"
"Useless question. Nothing can prevent me from meeting you." Lucius rolled his eyes. The front door opened, and the answer was clear.
"..." Zhuan Mei blushed a little as it sounded romantic.
"I came to get mine." Lucius stretched out his hand, expecting the elemental fruit to be given to him now.
"Since, since when am I yours?" Zhuan Mei took a few steps back, not believing this cold young man would be so bold and direct.
"The reward? My elemental fruit." Lucius tilted his head slightly, wondering what this bashful girl had in mind.
"Oh, so it’s just that fruit! Here, take this and leave! Don’t come to me again!" Zhuan Mei felt embarrassed and annoyed. She blurted out her annoyance verbally and threw the brown elemental fruit at Lucius.
"Pleasure doing business with you." Lucius nodded and secured the treasure with utmost care. He turned around and left through the front door, leaving the angry girl behind.
"..." Zhuan Mei was silent for a moment. When she regained her composure, she covered her cheeks with her hands and tapped her mouth several times, blaming herself.
It was she who misunderstood, felt embarrassed, and angry. However, the ridiculous reason behind her anger was because Lucius came to see her only for that fruit, not her.
"Why did I say that to him? I was so mean. He wouldn’t be offended by it and take it to heart, right?" Zhuan Mei muttered softly. She ran out, but the person she was looking for was gone.
