Chapter 395: Guardian Alliance
Chapter 395: Guardian Alliance
"..." Fortuna held her head after secretly using her foresight and divination to predict everyone’s future possibilities.
She also tried to divine the situation revolving around Elysia because she couldn’t foresee Elysia’s future. However, the future possibilities were pretty unpleasant to catch.
She wanted to say something to the Elysium members regarding their intention to follow Elysia to the Boundless Realm. It would be best if they, except the Goddesses registered in God Mode Fusion, would stay in Quadtria and be nurtured by Heavenly Palace in the meantime until Elysia returned.
The variables that Elysia would face were beyond anyone’s reach, and they had to develop in a suitable environment. It would put a hold on their developments. Elysia granted them sufficient facilities and investment. They should lighten Elysia’s burden, not add to it!
She also felt Elysia’s development had been significantly delayed due to world affairs. Whether it was Quadtria and Earth or Vrelenia...
Only by overcoming various adversaries and challenges would a person become stronger. Sera might not be an enemy, but the relationship between Sera and Elysia was similar to curiosity toward the mystery.
It would be the best outcome when Elysia returned from the Boundless Realm and the Elysium members ascended to godhood. Elysia would greatly appreciate it if everyone could play an essential role in the future.
"What you’re thinking?" Elena poked Fortuna’s arm, feeling surprised at Fortuna’s pale expression.
She guessed Fortuna tried to see everyone’s future except for a few entities like Elysia and her. After all, some divinities could not be predicted well.
"No, it’s okay." Fortuna shook her head. She wished to bring up her thoughts when they would leave for the holy war in the Quadtria’s Divine World.
It was a temporary separation, and she hoped everyone could understand her good intentions. Regardless, she had to discuss it with Elysia, but not now.
---
A few moments later, everyone prepared to attend the grand meeting as the Guardian of Dream’s members. Miko temporarily used Miss E’s identity, and Elysia would complete Young Master El’s role in this meeting.
When night fell in the Pacific Ocean, influential and prominent figures from various corners of the world mysteriously disappeared in the blink of an eye.
More than a hundred of the most influential people in the world vanished from their original place, but they had prepared themselves for it when the countdown time hit zero.
In a grand conference hall, more than three hundred people emerged from thin air and teleported to their respective seats.
On the opposite seats, twenty-two SSS-level monster overlords also appeared with their companions. Even though their form resembled a human, they were still monsters. The sudden dangerous threats immediately put all humans on high alert.
"What are those monsters doing here?" The American Admiral pointed his finger at the monster’s side.
He looked left and right to seek support from his fellow humans, but he also sought the presence of a representative from the Guardian of Dream to ask for an explanation.
"Heh~ Humans, huh... We came by invitation, of course." Kappa crossed his arms over his chest with a broad grin.
However, he sensed a thick poison and venom aura that smelled so close. He looked aside and paled slightly to notice the former SSS-level deadly multiform jelly queen was present next to him!
"What’s with your stare, stinky monkey? I was personally invited by the Guardian of Dream’s leader. Were you involved in the foul scheme that harmed my baby a few months ago?" Ophelia averted her gaze, observing the other overlords.
She had no idea exactly who was involved in the rotten scheme, but the ones who had a blood feud with her were fortunately not present. With Goddess Ely’s favor, she could protect her baby perfectly, and this alliance would help eradicate her enemies, too. It was a perfect win-win situation.
"Hahaha... why are you accusing me? I am a land resident and not interested in your sea tower." Kappa waved his hand with an awkward laugh. He shifted his seat away from the venomous queen because he still loved his life.
Based on rumors, the multiform jelly queen was so deadly and would put anyone into eternal rest with just a touch. She also held the title of husband killer and the femme fatale. She extracted her husbands and ate them. Her presence was enough to make even an SSS-level monster shiver.
The devil firefish and reef stonefish behind Ophelia glared at the nearby overlords. Yet, they did nothing because they were there to serve as assistants and guards.
"Fwaahh..." Althea yawned and curled up comfortably in her mommy’s arms. She was so sleepy and fell asleep again, dreaming about her angel, unaware of the situation around her.
Ophelia’s gaze became tender, and she cast a soundproof water barrier to prevent any noise from disturbing her baby’s sleep.
The humans exchanged information and questioned about the presence of 22 apocalypse-level monsters at the meeting. Those monster overlords were also accompanied by two dangerous subordinates.
Even though the monster side only made up less than 20% of the humans present in the hall, it still caused the human side to be agitated.
*Clack*
At least until the lights receded on the center stage, highlighting the presence of a ’pretty’ long-haired man in a neat black suit on the podium.
"Welcome to the Cube Island, esteemed guests. I represent the Guardian of Dream, expressing our appreciation for your enthusiasm. In this meeting, we will mediate between humanity and the otherworld’s monster side for a better future. Before we move on to the primary issue, we want you to join our Guardian Alliance. Sign it if you are willing, and decline if you refuse. We will send you back unharmed if you choose to decline."
Elysia swung her hand and summoned a virtual screen in front of each leader.
A virtual agreement letter appeared in front of them, listing several rules and restrictions, including penalties for violators.
"Do you want to control us? Even if you are the Guardian of Dream or something, that doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want!" The middle-aged Scandinavian man felt furious when he checked the rules in the agreement.
It was as if the Guardian of Dream wished to put everyone under control.
"If you think we want to control everything, then you are wrong. We are only mediators who facilitate a great future. Don’t you think everything that has happened would accelerate the great apocalypse if it continued?" Elysia shook her head and asked everyone to seal the deal right up front.
She didn’t need to convince anyone or sugarcoat her speech in this situation. Her family invested a lot in helping Earth become great again, and the Earth’s inhabitants had to stand up and save their world by themselves. Her family would only facilitate some things and provide support from the background.
"How bold and domineering, but I like it. Very well, my Hera Group and I will-" Heracles laughed and was about to be the first to become part of the Guardian Alliance.
However, Ophelia was a step faster. She put her hand on the virtual screen and registered herself as the first member of the Guardian Alliance.
Ophelia clutched her upper chest, feeling something enter into her soul to impose the agreement. "The power of God..."
Heracles became the second alliance member and was soon followed by Erina’s father to represent the Minamoto Group.
Everyone immediately followed shortly after, including the monster side. After all, the monster side was enlightened before attending this grand meeting.
However, three global elites chose to reject the alliance agreement for peace.
Elysia kicked them out of the conference hall, teleporting them back to their original place without further ado.
"Woah..." Miko clapped her hands together with a gleam in her eyes from the Guardian of Dream’s member-exclusive seats. Her mama was so dashing, and the young master’s disguise was so good and unique.
"Oh, holy molly..." Lucas, America’s elite esper captain, gasped in surprise when he found the Guardian of Dream’s group in the upper seats.
He spotted Miss E and several Goddess-tier ladies there. The presence of a male was pretty rare, and he could count it on one hand. He probably could fix it soon by joining that group.
Nevertheless, his attention was only focused on the lovely Miss E, not daring to look at those Godly warriors.
"She still looks the same as five years ago?" Hong Ju-Won, the Korean elite team captain, representing his Hong Clan, widened his eyes when he found Miss E was still as young as the last time they met.
"Thank you for your participation. Welcome to the Guardian Alliance. The existence of mutated beasts, demons, and monsters will become a scourge soon, and we must stop the unnecessary wars. We shall make Earth great again. You are entitled to special privileges and early access to the Guardian Alliance Shop. Please activate the bracelet device on your left wrist." Elysia was pleased about everyone’s participation.
Every guest present would participate to make Earth great again. Unfortunately, Satria and Linda were still in development and were not ready to join at the current stage. However, Maya was lucky to get the privilege of being an underworld society secret agent by working for her under Lin Yan.
"Hm?" Kenji spotted his daughter among the Guardian of Dream’s members and smiled happily. He then activated the bracelet without further ado.
He didn’t know when the bracelet was on his left wrist, but he didn’t mind it. A hologram screen immediately emerged before his vision, displaying the alliance member info panel.
The alliance shop, member list, event news, worldwide information, quest board, and many more useful features were offered to alliance members.
Kenji wasn’t the only one who accessed the alliance shop out of curiosity. At that moment, everyone was surprised to find the offers at the alliance shop.
The Guadian of Dream hosted everything, and it was easy to tell that the Guardian of Dream owned the products.
Kenji stopped at the top-tier spirit stone. He truly needed it, but the cheapest item would cost him one thousand El-Coins. The new currency soon became everyone’s question.
For the next few minutes, Elysia told everyone how to get El-Coins. She also conveyed her aspirations and hopes for everyone to make Earth a beautiful world, instead of triggering the apocalypse to happen early.
Alliance members would need to perform some quests and meritorious services for a better world to get it. The easiest ones were to exchange riches and resources for El-coins.
"The overlords in the lower sphere also have some problems with those monsters. So, we hope you focus on dealing with them rather than trying to attack other alliance members. You will suffer severe consequences if you break the rules." Elysia showed the satellite footage on the big virtual screen for everyone to see.
The number of terrors was huge compared to humans and demi-humans in the lower sphere.
"What the fcking scam is this? I exchanged a million USD, but I only got less than ten El-Coins?" A British lady slammed her hand onto the table, annoyed by the situation she found herself in.
That immediately got everyone’s attention, but Xentia smiled and spoke for Elysia. "El-Coins are the value we’ll use. Satisfied or not, but our products are not cheap."
