Chapter 399: Family Photo

Xentia drove the space bus to the designated uninhabited island. Darkness had calmed down and perched on Fortuna’s arm, eating many high-class foods and grains that she had never enjoyed before.

"If you thought I would forgive you for this, you were very wrong." Darkness voiced her protest again. She was bribed with food, and she couldn’t accept it.

"Yeah, yeah... sorry. Here’s an extra portion for you. We also have some good seafood and meat." Fortuna rolled her eyes and offered another plate for the whining birb.

"Munch, mng, crunch..." Darkness voiced many other complaints, but her words became unscrambled because her beak was full of food.

Regardless, Fortuna managed to tame the angry Goddess of Darkness with good food, thanks to Elysia’s advice.

"It must be scary, Darkness. But, you shouldn’t throw the blame onto me. That’s beyond anyone’s control. You’ve done your best. Now, you’re free. What are your next plans?" Fortuna stroked Darkness’ head and revoked her subordinate’s fate restriction.

"???" Darkness looked up, feeling Fortuna’s tone suddenly become very soft and it made her feel strange. She also felt the restrictions in her soul were lifted.

If she thought about it again, she couldn’t really blame Fortuna for what had happened to her. Even so, she was just venting her frustration just because Fortuna was the one who caused her to work in Heaven like a subordinate!

"How about an only girls family photo? After that, we can take the full family photo outside the sand castle. We need a memento with Erina too." Evelyn held Elysia’s arm and gently took the towel from Elysia’s hand.

"It’s not a question about confidence. I’m confident with my shape and figure..." Fortuna wanted to complain, but she couldn’t find a good reason to counter Elena. Therefore, she could do nothing.

Elena put the camera into automatic mode and Xentia would send the command to take some good shots. "Say, cheese!"

The girls took several cute, elegant, and other fancy poses. However, there was a photo where a particular devil girl showed her ass to the camera and got smacked by Yuuki before taking the proper pose.

"Oow, that’s the wrong pose. Why didn’t you tell me that badass means awesome?" Sylvia looked at that particular picture while complaining to Vanessa.

She was about to delete it, but Xentia snatched the camera from Sylvia’s hand.

"Leave the photo untouched. It’s a keepsake." Xentia took a safe distance and uploaded all photos to her data sea to secure them.

"Pfft, we go sparkles but Elder Sylvi goes wiggle-wiggle~" Jophiel covered her mouth as she couldn’t contain her laughter.

"Alright, let’s take a photo of our full family outside, and we can go check out the crashed plane." Elysia rubbed Sylvia’s back to reassure the dissatisfied girl.

"Let’s go." Rhea put her hands together. She was back to her mature form happily, thanks to Elysia’s reassurance.

"Wonderful~" Miko interwined her fingers, feeling excited.

"Holy..." Azrael was amazed when his masters and other peerless ladies came out of the sand castle wearing gorgeous swimsuits.

He looked to the side by reflex as he could hardly contain their ethereal charms. The love demoness Jophiel was also there in a sexy swimsuit, and without wearing a veil. However, his heart couldn’t handle it if he had to look at his masters and the Goddesses’ heavenly appearances for long.

While the boys were fascinated, Elysia invited everyone for a family photo. Gio, Cherub, and Lixue in their dragon knight human form were also invited.

"..." Darkness felt like a stranger there. She wondered why Fortuna could grab the opportunity to join Goddess Ely’s group.

"What are you doing here? Come and join us." Fortuna approached, extending her arm.
