Everyone also expressed a positive response to that family event.

However, a bird-like creature was seen flying closer at supersonic speed from ahead right after they emerged onto the sea surface.

"Uh, what is that?" Evelyn pointed forward, and several people stared ahead.

*Crash!*

The bird crashed into the barrier, leaving a large hole, and the windshield broke. Xentia didn’t see it coming, but a big, black bird continued to dart into the passenger seat.

Gaia warped reflexively to catch that wild bird, but the bird immediately thrashed around in anger.

"A lost bird?" Ella looked at the angry bird, finding it unharmed from the strong impact.

"Squawk, squawk!" Darkness was still trashing around, trying to free herself from someone holding her captive.

She did her duties well in both Heaven and her Darkness Realm, but Fortuna ran away somewhere and failed to fulfill what had been promised to her. After working hard with barely any good reward, Heaven was invaded by many terrifying divine beasts.

The Heaven soon turned into a deadly battlefield, and she was caught in the middle while trying to escape. Unfortunately, she died on her way home to her Darkness Realm. When she woke up, her divinity revived her as a strange-looking bird in the mortal realm.

Sadly, her Darkness Realm and other realms in the lower layers collapsed, including the underworld, and she could do nothing about it. She also had to start over from a mortal level!

After several years of hardship as a bird, Fortuna’s aura suddenly appeared. She detected the hateful Goddess of Fortune who forced her to work for Heaven was so close. Therefore, she spared no effort to hunt down Fortuna and demanded compensation!

She was angry, super jealous, and annoyed. Fortuna was somewhere safe. She wished this hateful Goddess could experience her pain at least a little, but she got slapped and was about killed!

"You should be able to talk. Please calm down your anger. Stop trying to harm Fortuna or I’ll be angry." Elysia gently stroked the angry bird’s head. Her soul touch provided comfort and reassurance to the angry bird.

After Darkness regained her composure, she took a deep breath and shouted. "You scammed me. You don’t know what I’ve been through because of you! I’ll kill you, Fortuna. I wish to rip you apart and gouge your intestines out! I hope you suffer in agony!"

"You’ve been through a lot. Everything will be fine from now on. Can you calm yourself down and talk about this slowly? We’ll satisfy your desire if you can calm your anger and stop cursing Fortuna." Elysia still stroked the angry bird’s head and stared at Darkness, eye to eye.

"..." Darkness widened her blood-red eyes, shocked because she recognized Elysia, the Almighty Goddess who helped the Gods to save Heaven and Earth from Ruvoid threats and Heavenly Traitors five years ago.
