Chapter 425: Breached Sealed Secret Realm

He-Dao rubbed his head with several complicated matters plaguing his mind. He left the shrine and went to the guest pavilion to meet Elysia.

"Hm?" He-Dao raised his eyebrow when he noticed a particular girl looking at him with her eyes wide open.

’Does this little lass recognize me? She’s not the holy son that Goddess Ely mentioned before, right?’ He-Dao crossed his arms in astonishment. That girl was surely female, and could not possibly be the holy son.

Elysia waved her hand with a smile. She didn’t need to give any reminder to the Daughter of Heaven because Zhuan Mei was pretty pure and kind-hearted by nature.

Even though Zhuan Mei was a bit scheming, this girl was still a good soul. That holy mirror would prevent the user’s soul from the depraved path. If the holy daughter defects, that artifact would harm the user and guide the user back to the righteous path, similar to the effect of the holy dagger received by Yang Jian, the holy son.

"You want to come too?" Elysia invited He-Dao’s group.

"Switch the engine to silent mode. Activate the camouflage." Luna squinted her eyes as she could feel some terrible premonition as they got closer to their destination.

Several automaton dolls carried out the commands. The engines went silent, and the spaceship was wrapped in a blanket of energy that disguised its presence.

"There are so many demons. They built a temporary fortress, the demonic monster tribe village?" Lynn pointed in a particular direction, and everyone stared at the designated virtual screen.

"Are those demons the ones in the report? Should we investigate them first? Where is the breached sealed secret realm?" Vanessa looked around at various virtual screens, but she couldn’t see any portal’s energy fluctuations anywhere.

"The breached entrance is in the underground passage, a secluded hideout. Scan the surrounding place." Luna used her divination to find the exact location, but she soon paled and covered her mouth, feeling nauseous and almost vomiting.

"Mother, what happened?" Lynn rushed to support her mother.

Luna took out a paper bag and vomited. She then looked up with a hint of anger. "They... despicable things! Slaughter all the demons in that place! Leave none alive!"

"Alright. Vanessa and I will lead the extermination team. Lynn and Yusagi, you accompany Luna." Yuuki nodded as she knew Luna had just seen something terrible.

The Blue Soul Fox Fleet’s elites and Xentia’s advanced mechs formed a team to go with Yuuki and Vanessa for the purge.

They exited the spaceship and descended like comets, raining destruction upon the demon village, slaughtering all demons in sight mercilessly.

"You... We never offended you before." The last living demon tried his best to voice his grievance.

The village and fortress were destroyed in flames and ice. Everyone died, whether they were elderly or even newborn demons.

"Is that so?" Yuuki crossed her arms, emitting a deadly ice aura to freeze the last demon alive.

"You damned vixen!" The dying demon widened his eyes wide in shock. Unfortunately, that was the last thing he could say before the ice crumbled, shattering his body like fragile glass.

"Sister Yuuki..." Vanessa ran over and grabbed Yuuki’s arm with a pale face, pointing in a direction.

"..." Yuuki was prepared for the worst, but it was different if she had to see it with her own eyes.

She could see many fur skins being dried in the sun, and there were many bones. However, the worst of the worst was that there was a hut that held many bodies of demi-humans that had been skinned as if they were food supplies.

"..." Yuuki’s expression darkened at that sight.

It might be the law of the jungle. The strong would prey upon the weak. She might be cold and indifferent, but her conscience would never allow this cruelty to let it slip by, not when she was there.

"Elders, we discovered a slaughterhouse and a hidden cage with three surviving demi-humans, but..." One of the elite warriors returned to report.

"Speak clearly." Yuuki raised her eyebrows.

"But, they... they wanted us to kill them..." The elite warrior looked aside as it was pretty heavy to say.

"Bury the dead." Yuuki nodded in understanding and walked away. Vanessa hurried to follow her.

"Yes, ma’am!" The other elites saluted and rushed to move the dead bodies to the open field.

Several elites used earth elemental magic to give the dead a proper burial, not including the dead demons. The demons were burned to ashes, and that was it.

"Kill me... No more..." The dying little fox looked up with a blank stare. Her body was ruined beyond recognition and it was already like a living corpse.

"No wonder Luna immediately vomited." Yuuki sighed and cast an ice on her palm.

"Are you going to kill them?" Vanessa held Yuuki’s arm, trying to prevent Yuuki.

"It’s their desire for release. Let the afterlife grant them a beautiful new life." Yuuki shook her head, feeling that it was the best decision.

"..." Vanessa slowly let go of Yuuki’s arm, realizing the gravity of the situation. "We need to avenge them."

"Yeah... we’ll avenge them for sure." Yuuki froze the dying young girls and gave them a painless release, sending their souls ascending to the afterlife with a prayer.

"What is that thing?" Vanessa sighed, but she accidentally noticed the half-buried thing in the corner of the room.

"It’s a cauldron for refining someone alive." Yuuki pulled Vanessa’s arm and cast her Heavenly Ice, destroying the cauldron and everything inside it into ice particles.

"Let’s go. These demons still have more forces in the breached sealed secret realm." Yuuki turned around with a heavy feeling.

This tragedy would not have occurred if she issued the urgency to give the foxkin and other suppressed kindred hiding in the sealed secret realm freedom after her master declared to the world about Sacred Sakura’s sovereignty.

Unfortunately, the situation was not favorable at that time, and they had no idea of the location of the mentioned sealed secret realm.

A few moments later, the demon village was pulverized to the ground, and the dead received a proper burial.

Since the breached sealed secret realm’s entrance was in a secluded underground passage, the recovered Luna returned to lead the entire squad on foot.

And what awaited them in the secret realm was nothing but pure chaos, a war between two factions, demi-humans and demons.
