Chapter 471: Blessed Spirit

Amid the scorched forest, the trees were broken down like charcoal, crumbling to ashes.

The newborn spirit was already terrified because the scary scene and the gruesome battle made her despair. When the evil spirits noticed her and started chasing her like predators to delicious prey, she spared nothing and tried her best to escape.

At that moment, she could think nothing but kept flying away. A floating island came into sight in the distance by chance, and she flew with everything she had to arrive there, feeling the land above the clouds could probably keep her safe.

Since the pure spirit flew straight into the sky, the evil spirits stopped in their tracks. They considered something before returning to the ground.

Once the pure spirit arrived at the floating island, she hid in the most secret place, mysteriously penetrating the walls and barriers without hindrance.

After a few minutes of hiding, the frightened spirit felt calmed down somewhat. She surveyed her surroundings and found she arrived at a grand chamber somehow. However, what caught her attention was the most conspicuous sacred statue and painting at the end of the hall.

With awe and respect, the pure spirit begged the holy statue to let her stay. The light descended from the heavens, and pure spirit was blessed with a blessing. She received her sanctuary and protection from the divine. That was how the newborn pure spirit became the Goddess of Magic’s faithful follower.

"That’s my story." Lucia put her hand to her chest, feeling happy to tell her story to her Goddess.

"Born from a tree... So, the burned tree was a spirit tree? Is that how spirits are born?" Evelyn tapped her chin, full of questions.

"It depends on the situation and conditions. Some spirits are born from elemental depths such as the bowels of the earth, the deepest sea, the hot volcano, and many more. They can also born from condensed spiritual energy caused by leyline overflow." Elysia explained a little.

"Hum, then how do you manifest your human form. It’s too fast for you to grow..." Erina still found it hard to believe. Lucia was only five years old, but this girl already possessed such a curvaceous mature body.

"I am a spirit, blessed by the Goddess of Magic and guided by two God Spirits. My transformation ability awakened about four years ago, and Sky God Spirit helped me form my human form." Lucia clasped her hands, feeling that everything was so precious in her memory.
